Here’s what I wore Friday June 11. That day I went out for lunch with a couple friends for the first time in ages (due to the Covid situation), and it was so nice. Both to see my friends, but also to just get out of the apartment for a little while.
I recently posted a small Lyko sale haul, but today I have a bigger Lyko haul to share with you. This haul consists mainly of Essence and Catrice products, but those are the two brands that I mainly buy from Lyko. Let’s start with Essence.
I purchased four products from the Essence The Glowin’ Golds collection. I got the two caring shimmer lip oils in 01 Heart Of Gold and 02 Golden Magic, the Vitamin C baked highlighter in 1 Golden Days Ahead, and the Vitamin E baked luminous bronzer in 01 Live Life Golden!.
Here’s a closer look at the bronzer and highlighter. Even though the highlighter looks dark, I can still make it work on my fair skin.
These are the other products I picked up from Essence; the Pretty Natural hydrating foundation in 030 Neutral Ivory, the Sanitizer Resistant top coat, and two of the Fruit Kiss Caring lip balms in 02 Cherry Love and 03 Strawberry Kiss.
Moving on to Catrice. I bought a bunch of stuff from their Clean ID line. I decided to get the Pore Perfecting primer, the Glow Prime & Fix spray, the Matt Prime & Fix spray, the Mineral bronzer in 010 Light, and two brushes; the bronzer brush and the highlighter brush.
Here’s a closer look at the bronzer, which I’ve used a few times, and I like it.
From Catrice I also purchased two of the Full Satin lipsticks and two of the Blush Box Glowing Multicolour blushers.
The lipsticks are in the shades 080 Full Of Life and 090 Full Of Adventure, and they’re both very nice.
The blushers are in the shades 010 Dolce Vita and 020 It’s Wine O’Clock, and they’re very pretty mosaic blushers.
Lastly, I picked up three more random items. I’d never heard of the L’Oréal Infaillible Metal Lip Paints before, so I thought I would give them a go. They’re in the shades 305 Cute But Psycho and 306 Lolita. I haven’t tried them yet, but I think they’ll be fun to wear around Christmas time. I also picked up the Make Up Store Dry brush cleaner sponge, which I’ve been using a lot to clean my eye brushes on an everyday basis.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the BPerfect Manifest Dream Big palette on my eyes, and I love that metallic green shade. I also love the very warm nude lip.

Here’s what I wore Wednesday June 9. I love this dress, and I wore it lot this past summer, but it shrunk quite a bit when I washed it the first time. I think I liked it better, when it was a bit longer, but it obviously didn’t stop me from wearing it.
It’s time for a big collective Beauty Bay haul. These are products I purchased in late April to mid May.
Let’s start with the BPerfect Manifest Dream Big palette. I think I’d seen this palette on Youtube and thought it was a very interesting and fun colour scheme, so I decided to pick it up. To be honest, I’ve only worn a few times so far, but I really liked the looks I created. I should definitely get some use out of this palette.
I also picked up two more lipsticks from Soda. These are in the shades 006 Your Mood and 008 Pretty Doll, and both shades are beautiful.
Here’s a closer look at the three blushers you see in the first picture. I picked up another Made By Mitchell Blursh liquid blusher. This one is in the shade Posey Rosey. I’d heard good things about the Milani Cheek Kiss cream blush, so I decided to try out the shade 120 Coral Crush, and it’s a lovely cream blusher. And then I picked up something, I’ve been wanting for years. Well, sort of. In the late spring, Too Faced launched the Love Flush Water Colour blushes, which I think is a revamped version of their original Love Flush blushes, which I sadly missed out on.
The first shade I picked up is called No Ordinary Love, and it’s a pretty pale pink shade.
As you can see, I late on decided to pick up another shade of the Too Faced Love Flush Water Colour blushes. I also picked up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze, which was on sale, and two of the L.A. Girl Pastel Dream auto eyeliners in the shades Sunshine and Lavender.
The second shade I picked up of the Too Faced blushes is called California Love, and it’s a very nice nude colour.
And I’ve already talked about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze in a 5 favourites post, and I’m still obsessed with this product; I’ve been using it almost every day for quite a while now.
Speaking of Anastasia Beverly Hills, I got the craziest deal on this set of two of her most well known eyeshadow palettes; the Modern Renaissance palette and the Soft Glam palette.
Here’s a closer look at the two palettes. Even though they’re both very neutral, which is not my go-to kind of eyeshadow palette, they’re still very pretty, and I really like the ABH eyeshadow formula.
Now, let’s talk BH Cosmetics. The BH Cosmetics eyeshadows are some of my favourites, and I really liked the look of the Do Not Disturb shadow palette. I also liked the look of the BH Cosmetics Say It! shimmer glosses in the shades Do Not Disturb + Low Key Love You.
Here’s a closer look at the inside of the palette and the glosses. So pretty!
Let’s just stay with BH Cosmetics a little longer, because I also picked up the BH Cosmetics Flower Power 5 Piece Face & Eye brush set with bag. I really like BH Cosmetics brushes; they really affordable, but really good.
Last, but not least, I picked up some lip products from Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and they were all on sale. I bought the Supreme Gloss in Mannequin, the Velour liquid lipsticks in I’m Royalty and Blue Velvet, the Velour lip liners in Mannequin and Blue Velvet, and the Velvet Trap lipstick in So Jaded.
This is what So Jaded looks like; a beautiful deep forest green.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The Natasha Denona Mini Star palette was a perfect match for this outfit, and I think the eye look is very pretty paired with the glossy, brown lip.
(Base: primer – Essence Prime+ Studio Hydrating + Skin Refreshing primer, foundation – Catrice Mini HD Liquid Coverage foundation (shade: 002 Porcelain Beige), concealers – e.l.f. 16HR Camo matte concealers (shades: Light Sand + Fair Warm), powder – Beauty Bakerie Flour setting powder in Oat (translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – The Balm Bronzilla bronzer, blusher – MAC Prism powder blush, highlighter – Catrice Kaviar Gauche highlighter in C01 Glow Couture. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Natasha Denona Mini Star palette (shades: Atik + Earth + Orion + Cosmo + Bellatrix) + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascara – Essence Lash Princess Curl & Volume mascara, eyeliner – Jeffree Star Automatic eyeliner in Armored Truck. Eyebrows: Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown + MAC Brow Set in Clear. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour lip liner in Leo + MAC Whirl lipstick + Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Cake Shake)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette on my eyes for the first time, and it’s such a perfect little neutral palette and very flattering on the eyes.
(Base: primer – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless primer, foundation – L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (shade: 015 Porcelain), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Jeffree Star Magic Star Setting Powder in Fair. Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush palette in 01 Darya Coral (shade: Cream Blush), highlighter – Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush palette in 01 Darya Coral (shade: Diamond Powder). Eyebrows: Soda #wowbrow Flat Brow Liner in Kim + MAC Brow Set in Clear. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Are You Filming?)
