It’s halloween today, which means that October will be over by tomorrow, which means that there’s only one more month left before December! But who I’m a kidding, I’ve been christmassing since the beginning of September. I even have a Christmas favourite this month, so let’s talk about those favourites.
MOA Donald Duck sneakers: I’ve had these sneakers for a while now, and I’ve worn them the other months too, but for some reason they have been my go-to sneakers this past month. I guess they have just been working well with a lot of my outfits from October.
Maybelline City bronzer (shade: 100 Light Cool): I wasn’t sure I liked this bronzer at first, but the more I use the more I like it. It has a yellow undertone, which suprisingly looks great with a lot of make-up looks.
Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Celebrity Skin: I’ve had this lipstick for a long time, and it’s been my favourite nude lipstick ever since I bought it, but I’ve reached for it so many times this past month that I had to mention it. It’s the perfect nude in my opinion.
Essence This Is Me gel nail polish (shade: 03 Bold): I have an Essence haul coming up, but I couldn’t wait to share this nail polish with you. I love Essence’s nail polishes in general, and this is the most beautiful dark nude shade.
Christmas Songs – Frank Sinatra (album): I couldn’t choose just one Christmas song that has been my favourite this past month, but my favourite Christmas album has been this Frank Sinatra one. I’m a huge fan of old, classic Christmas songs, so it’s no wonder that I enjoy these Sinatra songs. I decided to feature the song ‘Christmas Dreaming’, which pretty much sums up my life right now:)
Here’s what I wore Tuesday September 24. Another ’80s inspired outfit though this time it’s inspired by ’80s corporate fashion.
(Blazer + trousers + blouse + belt – second hand, fishnets – VRS, heels – Anna Field)
Here’s what I wore Monday September 23. I was definitely inspired by the ’80s when I put together this outfit, and I love how it turned out.
(Trousers – Asos, sweatshirt + boots – H&M)
About two months ago, I ordered a bunch of shoes and accessories from Asos, and I’m just now getting around to do a haul. These are the shoes, I’ve bought. Accessories will be in a separate post.
I bought most of these shoes in the end of summer, so that’s why most of these shoes are summery shoes. I love everything rainbow coloured, and these little metallic rainbow sandals are so cute.
How cool are these sandals! I love the multicoloured sheer straps and the block heel.
Last pair of rainbow-ish sandals in this haul are these glittery wedges. I used to wear wedges all the time, but for some reason I stopped (I guess they went out of style). However, I couldn’t resist these beauties.
These red/pink leopard print mules were just so crazy and fun that I had to have them. They’re definitely a pair of statement shoes.
I thought these heeled loafers had a retro feel to them, and the colour is kind of ugly, but that’s what makes them fun.
Lastly, I did buy a pair of boots. These also have a retro vibe, and I think they’ll be perfect with my autumn wardrobe.
Here’s what I wore Thursday September 19. This dress and boots combo is a match made in heaven.
(Dress – Monki, boots – Zara)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I layered MAC Sumptious Olive eyeshadow with Interstellar from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien palette, and it’s such a stunning combo!
(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte, foundation – Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation (shade: Soft Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – Physicians Formula Butter bronzer (shade: Light), blusher – Essence Satin Touch blush in 20 Satin Love, highlighter – Milani Strobe Light Instant Glow Powder (shade: Afterglow). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Jeffree Star Alien palette (shades: Titan + Interstellar) + Jeffree Star Androgyny palette (shade: Safe Word) + MAC eye shadows (shades: Sumptious Olive + Nylon), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Here’s what I wore Wednesday September 18. I’ve been wanting to style up this jumper for so long, but I didn’t know how until I suddenly thought about styling it with my beloved snake print skirt. They seem like a perfect match.
