5 favourites – February

Tomorrow, we enter the first month of spring, though the Danish weather is bloody freezing. I’m craving spring so bad! Even though February is the shortest month of the year, mine still felt quite long. My February consisted of a lot work, but also a holiday which was very much needed. My 5 favourites from February are all fashion related, and I’m sure they’ll continue to be favourites next month as well.

Beige shearling fløjlsjakke - H&M

Oversized shearling corduroy coat: My obsession with corduroy continues, and this coat is incredible. It’s been my most worn coat this past month, and I love everything about it!

Mørkeblå kick flare jeans - H&M

Dark blue kick flare jeans: You’ve probably noticed how much I love flared trousers, and these dark blue kick flare jeans are so perfect! They’re high-waisted and cropped, and I love the way they fit.

Sorte støvler m. snørre og spænder - Asos

Black suede lace up boots: I’m so glad, I bought these boots. Because of the cold Danish weather, boots are very much needed, and these go with so many different outfits.

Zebra print belt: I’ve always liked zebra print, and this belt is the perfect way of adding a bit of zebra print to your outfit. Because of the black and white colours, it goes with pretty much everything, and it’s just a lot of fun.

Dinosaur earrings: I love dinosaurs! I’ve most likely mentioned that before. I’ve been wanting a pair of dinosaur earrings in absolute ages, and my sister got me these for Christmas. They’re probably Brachiosauruses (which is one of my favourite dinosaurs), and they’re just adorable.

Red and navy

Here’s what I wore Friday January 12. I think red and navy is a gorgeous colour combination, and I love this outfit, which is colourful and fun, but still really comfortable.

Matching dots

Here’s what I wore Tuesday January 9. I really like this muted light blue and grey colour scheme. And I thought that the polka dot socks would match the dots on the jumper so well.

(Jeans + jumper + shirt + socks – H&M, shoes – Shoe Biz Copenhagen)

H&M January sale haul

Rød sweatshirt m. Mickey Mouse - H&MSort rullekravetrøje - H&MBeige ternet plisseret kort nederdel - H&MSorte slacks m. slidser og bindebånd - H&MMørkeblå kick flare jeans - H&M

I made another H&M-order in the January sale, and these are the items I purchased. I added another Disney top to my collection. I’m loving red at the moment, so I couldn’t leave the Mickey Mouse jumper behind. I also got another black roll neck top, because you can never have too many of those. I really want to add more skirts to my wardrobe, and this checked, pleated one is so cute. I’m wearing it today, and I’m loving it. I’m a huge fan of slacks/dress trousers, and these black ones are really nice. I know they’re difficult to see properly in the picture, but you’ll see them in an outfit post at some point. Lastly, I purchased another pair of kick flare jeans, but in a much darker wash. I’ve already worn them a lot, and they might be my new favourite jeans.

Corduroy dream

Here’s what I wore Monday January 8. This pair of corduroy trousers is one of my best buys in a really long time. I’ve styled them in so many different ways, and they’re really comfortable and super flattering.

Different though still neutral

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I haven’t been taking a lot of make-up pictures in 2018 so far, because most days I wear the same neutral eye make-up with different lip colours to match my outfit. The day I took these pictures, I wore something a bit different though still neutral, but I really liked it.

First impressions: RCMA No-Color Powder

DSC_4220

I’d watched many youtubers talk about the RCMA No-Color Powder, so I thought I would see what the fuss is about. It definitely does not have any colour. It’s completely translucent and it feels very lightweight on the skin. It makes your skin look matte, but not dry which is great. I wore it for an entire day without touching up and my skin wasn’t particularly shiny at the end of the day, but if I were to go somewhere in the afternoon/evening I would do a light touch up. All in all, I really like this powder, but I don’t find it to be mind-blowing.

Favourite shade of purple

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Purple has been my favourite colour for as long as I remember, and this lipstick is my favourite shade of purple.

Last of 2017

DSC_4237DSC_4239

Here’s what I wore Wednesday November 29. This is my last outfit from 2017 that I will post. I already have a lot of outfits to post from 2018, and I think there are some really good ones amongst them,

(Bomber cardigan – Monki, jeans – H&M, shirt – second hand, creepers – The Fabulous Creepers)
