Still wintry

Here’s what I wore Tuesday December 16. I guess after wearing a lot of dark autumn/winter colours I felt like wearing something lighter though still wintry.

Organisers

These are my last two Christmas presents. I know I wrote the other day that I only had one last present to show you, and that’s the Clear Makeup Organiser in the first picture, but I bought the Twin Organiser with some money I got for Christmas, so I guess it’s a Christmas present too. Both organisers are by Nomess Copenhagen, and I think they’re such a nice way of storing make-up and cotton pads + cotton buds.

Party make-up try out

DSC_5106DSC_5113

I wore this make-up look at a Christmas party in December, but I didn’t have time to take outfit and make-up pictures on the night of the party so these pictures are from the weekend before when I tried out the look I wanted to wear:)

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Bare) + Nilens Jord eye shadow in 631 + Sleek Storm eye shadow palette (shade: Calm Before The Storm) + Sleek Vintage Romance eye shadow palette (shade: Love In London) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliners – Collection 2000 Glam Metallics Coloured Liquid Eyeliner in Vinyl 1 + MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in 050 Top Tomato)

Some e.l.f.

I still have two more Christmas presents to show you and one of them is this e.l.f. Studio blusher in the colour Mellow Mauve. I have one more Studio blusher, but I rarely use it, because there’s so much glitter in it, but that’s not the case with this one. It looks like it has a bit of shimmer in it, but it doesn’t really show up on the skin, and I really like the colour as well. The eye shadow brush and the eyelid primer are two recent purchases from the cheapest e.l.f. line. So far I’m really liking the brush; it’s great for placing eye shadow on the lid. I won’t say much about the eyelid primer just yet, because I’m going to make a separate post with a comparison of two affordable eyelid primers (this e.l.f. one being one of them), so stay tuned for that:)

Go-to bronze eye

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is my go-to eye make-up at the moment and I love to pair it with either a berry lip (as in this picture) or a deep red lip.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Barry M Natural Glow Shadow & Blush palette (shades: 3 + 5 + 6) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Collection 2000 Kohl Eyeliner Precision Colour in 2 Brown. Lips: Maybelline Colorsensational Shine Gloss in 360 Stellar Berry)

Three winter favourites

Here’s what I wore Wednesday December 10. I’m wearing probably my three favourite items this winter; the sweater, the trousers, and the boots. They’re very comfy items, but not too casual in my opinion.

(Trousers – Primark, sweater + necklace + ring – H&M, bracelet – Gina Tricot, boots – B&CO)

Back on the nail track

I haven’t done a nail post in a long time which is mainly due to the fact that I haven’t got that many new nail polishes since I left England. Anyways, I do want to get more creative with my nails, but for now I just want to show you a new nail polish I got on my gift advent calendar in December. First I’ll apologise for the application; I tried to remove as much nail polish from the skin around my nails as possible, but I find it almost impossible to get it all off. But about the nail polish; it’s from the Danish make-up brand Nilens Jord and it’s no. 688. It’s a deep, metallic purple as you can see, and I love the colour. It reminds a bit of one of my favourite nail polish colours from H&M called Fabulous Nails, Honey, just a more purple version.

Deep bronze

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This look is from December, but I’m still really into bronze/golden eye make-up; especially paired with a deep lip.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Barry M Natural Glow Shadow & Blush palette (shades: 3 + 5 + 6) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliners – Stila Smudge Stick waterproof eye liner in Damsel + MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Gosh Velvet Touch lipliner in 003 Cardinal Red + Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate matte lipstick in 107)

The shoes decide

Here’s what I wore Tuesday December 9. I’d just got the shoes two days earlier, and I really wanted to wear them, so I came up with this outfit to go with them, and not the other way around.
