Here’s what I wore Monday September 5. I told you that you would be seeing a lot of this blue bomber. And the sandals too, but I just love both pieces. They’re so versatile in my opinion.
(Bomber – second hand, jeans – Topshop, top – Very by Vero Moda, sandals – VRS)
Here’s what I wore Wednesday August 31. A lot of people tend to wear a lot of black, me included, but I also love an outfit that has no black items whatsoever.
(Bomber – second hand, trousers – made by my grandmother, T-shirt – Primark, sandals – VRS)
Here’s what I wore Tuesday August 30. I love how fun and colourful this look is. I think the light blue bomber and the pink trousers are a perfect match, and this whole look reminds me of bubblegum and other sweets.
(Bomber – second hand, trousers + top – H&M, sneakers – Converse)
Here’s what I wore Wednesday August 17. I featured this bomber jacket in my last 5 favourites post, and I think this is the first outfit I’ve posted where I’m wearing it (but it definitely won’t be the last). It’s just such a good casual piece that goes with almost everything even though it’s blue.
I just realised in this moment that by tomorrow summer will be officially over. It’s a bit sad, but on the other hand I might be okay for me to start looking forward to Christmas then. August has been quite an eventful month for me, but I did have time to enjoy the last bits of my summer holiday. Uni started again this week, and even though I’ve enjoyed having some time off, it’s nice to be back. Anyways, here are my last favourites from this summer.
Light blue bomber jacket: This second hand bomber has been my favourite piece of clothing this past month. I’m wearing it today, I wore it yesterday, I think I’ve worn it every week since I bought it. It’s just such an effortless piece and I’ve styled it in so many different ways.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel: I got this sample with my last Beautybay order and it’s probably the best brow gel I’ve tried. When you set your eyebrows with this, they stay in place all day.
NYX Strobe Of Genius illuminating palette: I haven’t gotten around to haul this palette yet (I will soon though), but I had to include it in my August favourites. These highlight shades are so beautiful and pigmented, and there’s a shade for every kind of make-up look.
Drake – Controlla (Old School R&B Medley) by Conor Maynard: I remember listening to some of Conor Maynard’s covers on Youtube many years ago, and about a month or so ago I rediscovered him. This cover/medley of songs is amazing. I don’t remember the last time I listened to a song on repeat like I did with this song in the beginning of August, and I’ve kept listening to it throughout the month. It’s so catchy!
Philips wireless portable speaker: My youngest sister’s got one of these speakers, and I thought it was very handy, so I put it on my birthday wish list and was lucky enough to get it. I just connect it to my iPad via bluetooth, and the sound is really good. This past month I’ve been listening to even more music than I usually do because of this little guy.
I recently did a bit of second hand shopping which I used to do a lot when I was younger, but haven’t done in recent years. The blue bomber is actually a men’s jacket, but I really liked it and I’m excited to style it. I thought the red blazer would be a great piece to add to an outfit for a pop of colour. The shirt and the skirt came as a set, and I bought it for the shirt which I think is really pretty, but it would be a fun challenge to try to style the skirt. Lastly, I found a little brown leather shoulder bag which I’m sure will look good with almost any outfit + you can never have to many little shoulder bags:)
Here’s what I wore Tuesday February 3. I actually picked out my outfit based on the make-up I wanted to wear that day; I wanted to play around with my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, and the look I came up with will be up on the blog next.
(Faux fur vest – second hand, jeans – Cheap Monday, shirt – Vero Moda, necklace – H&M, wedges – Marco Tozzi)
