Quick and creasy

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to do a quick eye look, so I used liquid eyeshadows. It looks okay in these pictures, but my eyeshadow did crease throughout the day.

Sephora Black Friday haul 2023

I have my Sephora Black Friday haul to share with you today. It mainly consists of palettes and foundations. Let’s begin with palettes.

I didn’t want to buy the Natasha Denona Xenon palette full price, so I waited for the Sephora Black Friday sale to pick it up. It’s not going to become my favourite or most used palette from Natasha Denona, but I did really enjoy this look that I created with it.

I picked up three products from the Pat McGrath Labs 2023 holiday collection; the Mthrshp Bijoux Brilliance: Starstruck Splendour blush and eye shadow palette, the Bijoux Brilliance eye shadow palette: Lunar Nightshade, and the Divine Blush + Bronze + Glow Trio: Fleurever Nude.

This is what the Mthrshp Bijoux Brilliance: Starstruck Splendour blush and eye shadow palette looks like. I’ve used four of the eyeshadows and one of the blush shades so far, and I really liked them.

This is what the Bijoux Brilliance eye shadow palette: Lunar Nightshade looks like. I really like this colour story with the purples and blues.

And this is what the Divine Blush + Bronze + Glow Trio: Fleurever Nude looks like. I haven’t tried the bronzer formula before neither have I tried this particular highlighter formula before, so I’m excited to wear all three shades together.

I also got a mini of the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch liquid blush in Hope. So cute!

It’s not often that I buy three foundations at once, but in this sale I did. I purchased a lighter shade (1N00) of the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable stay-true foundation, because the shade I already had was too dark on me. I’m really excited to try the R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener foundation. I picked up the shade Fair 2n. And the last foundation I purchased was the Rare Beauty Positive Light tinted moisturizer in 14W. I love a skin tint, and I’ve been wanting to try this one for quite a while.

The very last product I bought in the Sephora Black Friday sale was the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Peppermint. I love sleeping masks and peppermint is one of my favourite scents, so I really excited to try this one out.

Comfy and cozy

Here’s what I wore Wednesday December 6. I had a day off, so I just wanted to be comfy and cozy, and this matching sweatshirt and leggings set was the perfect thing to wear.

(Sweatshirt + leggings + socks – Monki, shoes – Crocs)

Collective haul (November 2023)

I have a collective accessories, clothes, and make-up haul to share with you today. All of these items were purchased before Black Friday (I’ll be posting a separate Black Friday haul some other day). Let’s begin with the accessories for once.

This olive green bag is from Silfen, which is a bag brand that I really like. The style is called Ulrikke, and it’s slightly bigger than my other Silfen bags.

I wear head bands all the time, and I felt like I needed this almost holographic glitter one from Becksöndergaard. I’m wearing it here.

This purple rose choker is from a brand called Sui Ava. I thought I would try this trend out.

Another hair accessory that I love is a big hair clip. I picked up these two from DesignB in an Asos sale.

In that Asos sale, I also got a set of Chrismas scrunchies from Pieces and green glitter hoops from Asos Design.

The only two pieces of clothing in this haul are both from H&M. Both of them are also Christmas themed. The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” T-shirt has a picture of Mariah Carey on the back.

I decided to try out the new make-up line from H&M and picked up a blush, a highlighter, and two lipsticks.

The Oh My Blush pressed powder blush is in the shade Fruit Punch, and the At First Light pressed powder highlighter is in the shade Glass Slipper. Both shades look so pretty.

I bought one of the Matte Lippie matte lip colors (Coral Fixation) and one of the Satin Icon satin lip colors (Indie Pop). I wore the matte Coral Fixation shade here (with a gloss on top), and I really liked the colour. I’m excited to try out Indie Pop as well.

The Christmas palettes Oden’s Eye released last year were some of my favourite palettes of the year. They’re absolutely stunning! This year Oden’s Eye relaunched last year’s palettes together with two new ones; the Snow Dream palette and the Hey Reindeer palette. I think these are really pretty too, however, I do prefer the colour stories of last year’s palettes.

I’ve been wanting to try Lunar Beauty eyeshadows for a while, and when I saw their holiday release, I knew that this was the palette I was going to try. The palette is called Siren Sunset, and it has a mix of neutral, blue, green, and purple shades. I think everything about this palette looks beautiful.

I actually decided to also get the three liquid lipsticks that came with the Siren Sunset collection. They’re in the shades Sailor, Pink Pearl, and Abyss. I’m really excited to try these out.

Last, but most certainly not least, I picked up two Cosmic Brushes/Cosmic Beauty eyeshadow palettes. I’d been wanting the Delicious Delights palette ever since it launched, and now I’ve finally got my hands on it. And their newest palette, the Winter Wonderland palette, is right up my street. Both of these palettes are to be honest, and I can’t wait to play with them.

Reduntant?

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore another new Natasha Denona palette I haven’t hauled yet; the Xenon palette. Is the palette a bit reduntant, yes. Is the look I created with it really pretty, also yes.

(Base: primer – e.l.f. Cosmetics Liquid Poreless Putty primer, foundations – Make Up For Ever HD Skin Undetectable stay-true foundation (shade: 1N00), concealer – Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer (shade: RN1 + N2), powders – Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish powder (shade: Fair/Medium) + MAC Studio Fix Pro Set + Blur Weightless loose powder (shade: Light). Lyko haul (November 2023)

I have a Lyko haul to share with you today. I’m posting this haul now, because it includes some products from the Catrice Magic Christmas Story collection. Let’s begin with those.

I picked up the following four products from the Catrice Magic Christmas Story collection; the Cheeklighter in C01 Mother Ginger, the eyeshadow palette in The Nutcracker, nail lacquer in C01 Land of Snow, and the Ultra Satin lipstick in C01 Celebration of Dances.

This is what the eyeshadow palette looks like. I was quite intrigued by this colour story, which is very colourful, and I still get Christmas vibes from this.

I chose the classic red lipstick, because you know me and my love for red lips.

The other three products I bought were all on sale. I picked up another MAC Squirt Plumping Gloss Stick. I’d been wanting the bright pink shade called Amped for a while, and now the price was really good. I also got two products from 3INA, which is a new brand to me. I purchased the 3INA The Color Lip Glow in 244 and the 3INA The No-Rules cream in 371. I’m really excited to try them both.

Red and holographic

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The new Oden’s Eye Snow Dream palette (which will be a part of an upcoming haul) was the perfect palette to wear with my family Christmas party outfit, because it has a matte red and a glittery holographic shade.

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – Nars Light Reflecting foundation (shades: Oslo + Mont Blanc), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish powder (shade: Fair/Medium) + Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – Colourpop pressed powder blush in Woo Me, highlighter – Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch highlighter in Enlighten. Eye make-up: bases – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly + NYX Glitter primer, eyeshadows – Oden’s Eye Snow Dream palette (shades: Goodwill + Boots + Guests + Frankincense + Merry), mascara – Catrice Glam & Doll False Lashes mascara, eyeliner – Colourpop High School Musical Crème gel liners in Spring Musical + Exit. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Revolution Pro X Marilyn Monroe lip liner in Marilyn Red + Clarins Joli Rouge satin lipstick in 742 Joli Rouge)

Perfect Christmas suit

Here’s what I wore yesterday Saturday December 2. After being ill for a week, it was really nice to get to dress up for a family Christmas party, and this red checkered suit (which I haven’t hauled yet) was perfect for the occasion.

(Blazer + trousers – Asos Design, sweater vest – H&M Men, shirt + socks + heels – Monki, bag – Topshop)

Pretty and juicy looking

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love a lime green/olive green eye look, and how pretty and juicy looking is the lip colour?!

(Base: primers – Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder (shade: Universal) + Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin serum skin tint (shade: 2), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer + blusher + highlighter – Benefit Cheek The Mail palette (shades: Hoola + Terra + Cookie). Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Max Factor Colour Elixir universal lip liner + Givenchy Rose Perfecto Beautifying lip balm in 37)

5 favourites – November

My favourite month of the year begins tomorrow, and I’m very excited about it, especially because November was a tough month for me. So I could use some Christmas spirit in my life. I did manage to find some favourites this past month, and they’re all make-up and beauty related, so let’s talk about them.

Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth skin tint stick (shade: 02): I love the original Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop blurring skin tint, so I was so excited to try the new Eaze Drop Blur + Smooth skin tint stick, and I really enjoy it. It’s been my go-to foundation to wear on days where I had to go to work very early in the morning, because it’s so quick and easy to apply and blend.

Made By Mitchell Curve Case in Light: This cream bronzer and blush palette from Made By Mitchell is so nice. The formula is great. These creams are very pigmented, but very blendable, and the colours are stunning. I’m excited to get more use out of this palette.

e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge matte shadow sticks: These are my favourite shadow sticks in my collection. I think I’ve got all the shades by now (so more than the picture shows). They’re perfect for creating quick eye looks, because they’re easy to apply, they blend well, and they do not budge as the name suggests. The shade range is great too.

Catrice Glam & Doll False Lashes mascara: I’ve had this with my mascara back-ups for a couple of years, I think, and I finally decided to try it, and I really like it. I don’t necessarily think that it gives my lashes a false lash effect, but it looks really nice, and it doesn’t smudge or flake. I really like the wand as well.

The Body Shop Totally Tangled Ginger Body Yogurt: I purchased this product years ago, but I didn’t open it until recently. I knew I liked the Body Yogurts from The Body Shop, and I love this spicy ginger scent.
