Lasting drama

This is the eyeliner I’ve been wearing in my past two make-up posts. It’s the Maybelline Eyestudio Long Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner 24H, and it’s my first gel liner. As I wrote here, I’ve been experimenting with liner lately, and that’s why I bought this gel liner. I still find the whole liner thing really difficult, but I really want to get better, and the only way to get better is by keep practicing.

4 from Rimmel

A couple of weeks ago there was a 3 for 2 deal on Rimmel make-up, and I had to take advantage of that:) I had to try one of the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate lipsticks from the new nude range. I chose 45 which is a mauvy, pinky nude. I also picked up another Rimmel Provocalips, because they’re so good, and I’ve been wanting the hot pink shade for a really long time (it’s called 310 Little Minx). The last Rimmel 3 for 2 product I picked up was the Stay Matte powder in 001 Transparent, and I love it. I’ve been wearing it everyday since I bought it. I also found a Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick on sale. It’s in the colour 330 Sloane’s Plum and is a gorgeous deep plum.

Cocopanda haul

Two weeks ago I ordered some products from the Danish online beauty store Cocopanda.dk and I received the parcel Monday last week. These are some products I’ve been wanting for a long time, so I’m really excited about them.

First of all I had to pick up the Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter by the Balm. I’ve been craving this highlighter for ages, and I’m so glad that it’s finally mine. It’s such a beautiful, pigmented champagne highlighter; perfect for most skin tones.

Some other products I’ve been craving are the NYX Macaron lippies. I love trying out new lip colours, and this lipstick line has a range of fun, ‘out there’ colours. I picked up Pistachio and Blue Velvet. I haven’t worn Blue Velvet yet, but I was very impressed by the pigmentation and staying power of Pistachio.

The last item (or couple of items) I purchased was the Real Techniques Sculpting Set. I love Real Techniques brushes and I was drawn to this set. It has a sculpting brush, a fan brush, and a setting brush and they’re all very good.

Three randoms

Hvid og sort trøje m. Jurassic World print - H&MDSC_7257

These are the last three items I bought in July (the month where I probably shopped a bit too much). I obviously couldn’t resist the Jurassic World top. It’s from H&M, and I love the simple print and colours. I also found a pair of sunglasses on sale at H&M that day, and I really like the black with the silver detail. The last item I bought that day was the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I’d heard good things about it, and it does look really good on my lashes, but it transfers onto my eyelids and I find it a bit difficult to remove as well. It’s definitely not a bad mascara, but it doesn’t compare to the Maybelline The Falsies mascara (my favourite) in my opinion.

Exfoliate, prime and plump

I think these are the last two items I bought in Copenhagen last month. I’ve been wanting to try the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator for a long time, and I really like it. I’m using it a couple of times a week, and it leaves your lips soft and exfoliated. I also bought the e.l.f. Lip Primer & Plumper which I’d never heard of before. There’s a nude primer at one end that primes and somewhat conceals your lips, and a clear plumper at the other end. The plumper smells a bit strange (a bit like cinnamon and something else) and you get that tingeling sensation on your lips. I’ve only used this product once, but I think it kind of worked. I have to try it a few more times to figure out how I really feel about it.

Sandals and necklaces

These are the none-make-up items I bought in Copenhagen last month. The sandals are from Zara and I think they’re really cute. The were on sale, and I don’t have anything like them, so I bought them:) I found the necklaces really cheap on sale at H&M, and I’ve already worn them several times. I’m actually wearing them in my next outfit post, and I really like them.

Sephora goodies

When I went to Copenhagen in the beginning of July, I stopped by Sephora and got a few things. I got four products from the Sephora brand. I got a Long Lasting Kohl Pencil in a nude shade which I’ve been wanting for so long, and this one is the perfect nude for my skin tone. It’s called 07 Infinite Beige. The little round eye shadow palette was on sale, and I liked the colours. The pigmentation is not amazing though; especially not the purples, but I’ll try to make them work. I also got the Sephora Straight liner brush (it’s number 91), because I thought it looked interesting. I haven’t tried it yet though. The last Sephora brand product I bought was one I knew I wanted before I went to Copenhagen. I’d heard really good things about the Creme Lip Stains and I chose the colour 03 Strawberry Kissed. This is an amazing liquid lipstick that dries completely matte, but stays comfortable on the lips. I love it! But the product I’m most excited about is the NARS Audacious lipstick. This lipstick is quality, people! It’s a creamy formula, but it stays on the lips all day. I got the hot pink shade (no wonder) and it’s called Michiyo. Oh, and the sleek black packaging and the lid with the magnetic closure; incredible! I would love to add more NARS Audacious lipsticks to my lipstick collection.

Honey

About a month ago I got the result of my last exam and I passed which means that I got my bachelor’s degree now (yeah). Therefore my family gave me this Marc Jacobs Honey perfume, body lotion, and shower gel. It’s such a nice scent, and I can’t wait to be smelling like Honey:)
