Cocopanda haul (August 2023)

I have an affordable make-up haul to share with you today. Most of the products are from either Essence or Catrice, but there’s a few other brands in the mix as well.

Let’s start off with base products. I got the Essence Hello Good Stuff glow serum primer, the Catrice Soft Glam filter fluid glow booster in 010 Fair-Light, the Essence Bright Eyes! under eye stick in 01 Soft Rose, and the Essence Conceal Like A Pro colour correcting palette. I haven’t formed a proper opinion on the brigthening and colour correcting products yet, but I really enjoy the primer and the glow booster. I actually think that the Catrice Soft Glam filter fluid glow booster is a very close dupe to the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter.

The last two base products I picked up was the Catrice The Vitamin C Fresh Glow primer and a back up of one of my favourite foundations; the L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude plumping tinted serum (shade: 0,5-2 Very Light). For brows I got the Catrice Brow Fix Soap Stick in 010 Transparent.

I guess the Catrice Soft Glam Filter powder in 010 Beautiful You is also a base product, but it comes in a compact, so I grouped it with the blush and highlighter that I purchased from Catrice as well. The blush is the AirBlush Glow in 050 Berry Haze and the highlighter is the Glowlights highlighter in 010 Rosy Nude. I didn’t love the blush, so I’ve already decluttered that one, but the highlighter is very pretty.

For the cheeks I also got the Essence Love That Glow & Bronze palette.

Moving on to lips. I picked up another NYX Slim lip pencil. This one is in the shade Nutmeg, and it’s a really nice brown. From Catrice I got the Glossin’ Glow tinted lip oil in 020 Drama Mama and the WHO I AM coloured lip balm in C02 Love Myself.

I also bought a lip oil from Essence. This is the Hydra Kiss lip oil in 03 Pink Champagne. Can you tell that I’ve been loving testing out lip oils?

These are the L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Matte Resistance liquid lipsticks in 400 Spill The Tea and 500 Wine Not?. I wore the shade 500 Wine Not? here, and I really liked it.

The only eye products in this haul are the Essence Multichrome Flakes eyeshadow toppers in 01 Galatic Vibes and 02 Cosmic Feelings. These are definitely trying to dupe the Danessa Myricks Infinite Chrome Flakes, and they’re much more affordable.

Lastly, I got the Essence Bloomin’ Bright make-up sponge in 01 Flawlessly Bright as a free gift with purchase.

I’ll say it again

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; I love red and pink together.

Something special

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love everything about this make-up look; there’s just something special about a green eye look (including a lime green metallic) paired with a red lip.

5 favourites – January

January is always a little tough, but this January has been more tough than usual for me, so this month’s 5 favourites post is going to be short and sweet.

Stine Goya Lotta bag: I put this bag on my wishlist for Christmas with the intension of using it as my new everyday bag, and that’s exactly what I’ve done, and I love it. It holds a lot of stuff, and I love the colourful print.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener (shade: Fair): I’m sorry about the bad picture, but it was apparently the only one I’d taken, and I don’t feel like taking a new picture right now. But that doesn’t really matter anyways. What matters is that this is a great, more affordable under eye corrector/brightener. I seem to enjoy every product from the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty line.

Nee Doh Nice Cube: A bit of a random favourite, I know, but this fidget toy (I guess that’s what it is) came into my life at the right time.

The Batman (film): I’ve got two film favourites this month (I can’t believe that I actually managed to watch two whole films). My boyfriend and I watched The Batman over two nights (because parent life), and I really enjoyed it. Especially the first half.

Bohemian Rhapsody (film): I’d been wanting to watch Bohemian Rhapsody since it released, and finally got around to it a few nights ago. It was really good and definitely worth the wait.

Collective haul (August 2023)

I have my collective haul from August to share with you today. This haul mainly consists of make-up products.

Let’s begin with the two items that are not make-up. First off, I picked up these dark green cargo trousers from H&M in a sale. I’ve worn them a lot; especially throughout December.

I got this beautiful Guess watch for my 30th birthday in August. I’ve worn it most days since.

Here’s a little mix of products I picked up from the Danish drugstore, Matas. I got a 20% discount as a birthday present, so I decided to buy the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer in Kiss of Mauve, the bareMinerals Gen Nude highlighting blush in Rose Glow, and the Fenty Beauty Match Stix contour skinstick in Soft Amber. These are all very nice products.

I purchased the Clinique Even Better All Over concealer + eraser in WN 01 Flax and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze applicator in a sale.

The last products in this haul are indie products purchased from Monolith. I’ve been wanting to try the Ace Beauté Paletteopoly palette and game ever since it launched, so I was so excited to get my hands on it. I actually played the game and did my make-up based on it just last week. It’s a really fun concept. The palette is stunning whether you play the game or not though.

I also picked up the Unearthly Cosmetics Summer 23 larger mystery box. It includes an eyeshadow palette, a highlighter duo, a satin liquid lipstick, and two lipglosses. The packaging is so cute.

This is the Get Groovy palette, and what a fun colour story. I love a colourful eyeshadow palette, and the Unearthly Cosmetics eyeshadow formulas are great. I’m wearing the eyeshadow palette, the highlighter duo, and one of the lipglosses here.

The Get Groovy highlighter duo is more of a highlighter/blush duo on my fair skin. These shades are super sparkly and fun.

The liquid lipstick is called Gnarly, and it’s a beautiful burnt orange shade. I’m wearing it here. The orange lipgloss is called Psych and the purple lipgloss is called Spaz. Both shades are super pretty and shimmery.

Rosy-toned neutrals

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Now that I think about it, it’s not very often that I wear a rosy-toned neutral make-up look. I do think this is a pretty look though.

Not a box of chocolates

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m loving this dark, chocolate brown lipstick; it’s so delicious.

Zalando haul (July 2023)

I have a Zalando haul to share with you today. It includes both clothes, shoes, and make-up.

I loved the Barbie movie and GAP made this cute collab with Barbie, so I picked up the Ken T-shirt.

I wore this retro looking floral shirt here. It’s from Monki, and it was on sale.

The chunky Mary Janes from Monki are some of my favourite heels, so of course I got the burgundy version as well.

I haven’t had a pair of creepers in my shoe collection for a while, and I loved these platform ones with the cute flowers on them. They’re from Lamoda, and they were on sale.

I’m pretty sure these Nike Zoom Air Fire sneakers have been featured on the blog several times. These are really comfortable, and I love the pops of primary colours.

I don’t purchase a lot from Revolution these days, but I thought these Finding Nemo products looked cute. The colour story of the palette is really pretty, and the quality was decent. I haven’t tried the yellowy lip oil yet, but the pink was completely clear and nothing special, so I’ve decluttered that one already.

And of course I had to pick up a handful of products from the NYX and Barbie collab. I got the mini palette in Turn Up The Ken-ergy, the Jumbo eye pencil kit, and the two Smooth Whip lip creams in Dreamhouse Pink and Perfect Day Pink.

The last three products I purchased were the Kiko Milano Smart Colour mascara in 10 Turquoise and two of the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lipsticks. They’re in the shades 445 Energizer and 460 Optimist.

Strawberry milkshake again

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had to wear the Unearthly Cosmetics Strawberry Milkshake palette again, because the colour story was a perfect match for this date outfit.

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude plumping tinted serum (shade: 0,5-2 Very Light), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – MAC Skinfinish Sunstruck Matte bronzer (shade: Matte Light Rosy), blusher – Too Faced Cloud Crush blurring blush in Watermelon Rain, highlighter – Oden’s Eye Solmåne Moonlight Feel highlighter in H101 Moon Talk. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Unearthly Cosmetics Strawberry Milkshake palette (shades: Whip + Topping + Juicy + Ripe + Green + Stem), mascaras – MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara + Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes universal volumizing mascara, eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 005 Avocado. Eyebrows: e.l.f. Cosmetics Brow Lift + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Colourpop Lippie pencil in I Heart This + Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink lipstick in 460 Optimist)
