Dark neutrals

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. With an outfit of a neutral colour scheme, I could have worn a much more colourful make-up look, but I really felt like wearing some dark neutral shades that day.

Jeffree Star x Manny MUA

Jeffree Star and Manny MUA are two of my favourite beauty youtubers, so I was very excited about this limited edition collaboration. I decided to get the Skin Frost and one of the two Velour liquid lipsticks. The Skin Frost is called Eclipse and is a beautiful peachy, champagne colour. The lipstick is called I’m Shook and is a muted corally red (it’s really hard to describe). Both products are absolutely stunning, and the matte black and holographic packaging is amazing!

Matching blue

Glitter eyelids

Urban Decay Heavy Metal glitter eyeliner

When you are doing your make-up for a night out, it’s nice to do a little extra, and glitter is a great way of doing that. The thing about loose glitter is that it goes everywhere, and as much as I love glitter, I don’t want it all over my face. I had seen several youtubers use the Urban Decay Heavy Metal glitter eyeliners on their eyelids, and it looked so quick and easy, so I decided to try it out. I bought the silver one which is called Glam Rock, and it works perfectly. I really want the rest of the colours now!

Hard to match

DSC_2369DSC_2368

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I actually had a hard time finding a lipstick that matched the coral stripe on my T-shirt, but in the end I decided to go with something a bit more reddish-pink than orange, and I think it looked nice.

Blemish Control Face Primer + Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche (highlight shade) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shade: Sculpt) + Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – the Balm FratBoy blusher, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Peach Goddess. Four on sale

DSC_2066DSC_2075

A couple of months ago I came across a box of drugstore products on sale at the supermarket, and I bought these four items. I love the Maybelline Colorsensational lipsticks, and I thought this pretty, pink colour would be great for spring and summer. It’s in the shade 185 Plushest Pink. I also really like the L’Oréal top coats and this one is called 943 Under My Spell. I’m wearing it in my latest nail post. I decided to try out the following two mascaras; L’Oréal False Lash Superstar Red Carpet Black and Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama. I’ll do ‘first impressions’ posts on both of them, so stay tuned for that.

Perfect pinky nude

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. If you are looking for the perfect pinky nude lipstick, try out NYX’s soft matte lip cream in the shade Cannes; it’s one of my absolute favourites.

Show and teal

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve been really into colourful make-up lately, and I think this teal look is really pretty and so much fun.

(Base: primers – e.l.f. Blemish Control Face Primer + L’Oréal Lumi Magique Pure Light primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shades: Banana + Vanilla) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: contour/bronzer – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shade: Sculpt) + Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – Milani baked powder blush in 05 Luminoso, highlighter – MAC Trip the Light Fantastic powder in Luna Luster. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette (shades: China White + Courtney + Vanity + Expensive) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – Lancôme Hypnôse Drama mascara in Excessive Black, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Eyebrows – e.l.f. 5 favourites – April

We are rapidly moving into the last month of spring, and I really wish the weather would get a lot warmer very soon. Anyways, April was another very busy month for me, and my exams start in May, so I have yet another busy month ahead of me. But let’s say goodbye to April by talking about some favourites.

solv-sneakers-missguided

Silver sneakers by Missguided: I’m so glad I bought these silver sneakers back in December. They add a little extra something to any outfit, and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many complements on a pair of shoes before.

Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette: Jeffree Star Cosmetics is one of my favourite make-up brands, and I finally bought the Beauty Killer palette a couple of months ago. The shadows are so pigmented, and I love the colours; I’ve actually worn more colourful eye looks this month partly because of this palette.

DSC_1519

Wet n Wild MegaGlo contouring palette in Dulce De Leche: This little highlight and contour duo is very handy. It’s great for travelling, and the powders are matte and very pigmented.

MONSTERS, INC. 3D

Monsters, Inc. (film): On the film front, my 2017 has been amazing so far. One of the best films, I’ve watched this past month, is Monsters, Inc. I’ve watched it once before, but that was years ago, so I didn’t remember much of it. It was so good though, but as the Disney lover that I am, I find it hard to dislike anything Disney.

glee

Glee (TV series): I’ve watched Glee before, but this month I just felt like rewatching it. So I watched the first two seasons and about half of the third season again, and I still love it. I was in my gymnasium’s (high school) choir, which I loved, but I wish it would have been more like glee club.
