Yet another collective make-up haul

DSC_7629

I’ve collected some new make-up over the past month (maybe a bit longer), and I thought I would share with you, what I’ve got. I’ve purchased six new liquid lipsticks (like I need any more lipsticks); the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour liquid lipstick is in the shade Allegedly, the Dose of Colors Minnie Mouse matte liquid lipstick in the shade Irreplaceable was to cute to pass on, and then I found some Essence Vibrant Shock (06 Black Widow) and Metal Shock (01 Belladonna + 02 Hemlock + 06 Poison Ivy) lip paints on sale that I thought I would give a try. I’ve also bought a new universal transparent lipliner; this one is the Max Factor Color Elixir lipliner in the shade Universal 000. When I wanted to buy a back-up of my Wet n Wild Coverall primer, I couldn’t find it where I usually buy. Instead I found the Wet n Wild Photofocus matte face primer, and I’m going to see if it’s similar to the Coverall primer.

I finally decided to try out Essence Must Haves single eyeshadows (they were also on sale), and I bought a four pan palette to pop them in. The shades I’ve got are (from left to right) 09 Chilli Vanilli, 23 Mermaid At Heart, 22 Holo-Holic, and 14 Purple Clouds.

Lastly, I purchased this beautiful irridecent powder from the MAC Electric Wonder collection. It’s in the shade Serenity Seeker, and it’s a mix of peach and gold. And look at the stunning packaging!

Carrying on the happy colour combo

Jeffree Star Blood Sugar + Alien palettes

DSC_7633DSC_7636DSC_7516DSC_7521

My Jeffree Star Cosmetics eyeshadow palette collection is now complete! I’ve been wanting the Blood Sugar palette for ages, but it’s been sold out until recently when it went back in stock on multiple sites. It’s such a beauty! When the Alien palette launched I didn’t really see the appeal, but in 2019 I’ve been obsessed with colourful eyeshadows, green being one of my favourite eyeshadow colours, and suddenly I wanted the Alien palette really bad. Now both palettes are mine, and I can’t wait to do countless eye looks with them.

Blue blood

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m really enjoying the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood palette. This look is very simple (I only used a few different shades), but I’ll be posting slightly more elaborate looks soon.

Nude choice

DSC_7523DSC_7524

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Very unlike me I chose a nude lip for this look. It turned out to be a good choice, since I had popcorn at the cinema and a creamy pasta dish for dinner. It would probably have been way more messy, if I had worn a bright or dark lipstick.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation (shade: Soft Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Revolution Conceal & Define concealer (shade: C2), powders – e.l.f. Face make-up: bronzer – Physicians Formula Butter bronzer (shade: Light), blusher – MAC Desert Rose powder blush, highlighter – Milani Strobe Light Instant Glow Powder (shade: Afterglow). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Jeffree Star Thirsty palette (shade: Parched) + Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette (shades: M.F.E.O. + Jacz + Enlight) + Juvia’s Place The Magic Mini palette (shade: Kesi) + Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow liquid eye shadow in Kitten Karma, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Soft pinks and green

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to match my make-up to my pastel coloured outfit, so I went with soft pinks and green.

5 favourites – April

April has come to an end, and we’ve finally experienced some warmer weather here in Denmark (though it is getting a bit colder again in a few days). I’ve been busy at work in April, but thankfully there was a holiday in the middle of the month. I had a lot of favourites in April, and these are my top 5.

Blå denim overalls - Monki

Denim overalls: I’d been wanting a pair of denim overalls for ages, and these Monki ones are exactly what I’d been looking for. I’ve worn them so much this past month; they’re just so comfy.

DSC_6865

Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation (shade: Soft Ivory): I did a first impressions post on this foundation in March, and the more I’ve worn it the more I’ve liked it. The coverage is really good, and the staying power is great.

DSC_6872

Revolution Conceal & Define concealer (shade: C2): I did a first impressions post on this concealer just last week (though I tested it and wrote down my first impressions in the beginning of April), and it has been my most used concealer this past month. I really enjoy the formula and the finish of this product.

avengers endgame

Avengers: Endgame (film): As the MCU fan that I am, I was really excited about this film, and it did not disappoint. It didn’t feel like a three hour long film, which definitely shows that it was entertaining all the way through. I can’t wait to re-watch this one day.

Paris, Lisboa – Salvador Sobral (album): I’ve featured Salvador Sobral’s music in several 5 favourites posts before, and in the end of March he came out with his second studio album. It’s such a beautiful album; I’ve been listening to it on repeat this past month, and I’ll probably continue to do so for quite a while still.

Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette

DSC_7404DSC_7400

Jeffree Star Cosmetics is one of my favourite make-up brands, and I’m always excited about new launches. The only item from the Blue Blood collection that got me really excited was of course the Blue Blood palette. I’ve never seen an eyeshadow palette like this one before, and it’s absolutely stunning. The quality is fantastic as always, and I can’t wait to create tons of beautiful looks with this palette (some of which I’ll post of course).
