A little while ago, I puchased most of the products from the Essence Mini collection. It’s always nice to have certain products in a mini version, and I think the pastel colours on the packaging are really cute. I picked up the following products from the collection: the brush set (01 Mini But Fluffy), the perfume balm stick trio (01 Mini But Yummy), the mattifying face mist, the caring hand lotion (01 Mini But Smooth), and the cooling hydra face balm (01 Mini But Boosting).
Here’s a closer look at the brush set. Aren’t they just adorable?
The perfume balm stick trio is my favourite item from the collection. I haven’t used the coconut scented one, because I really dislike coconut scented products, but I love the peach and the vanilla ones. The vanilla one is my absolute favourite.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Books palette in Cinderella on my eyes. Cinderella is definitely associated with the colour blue, and these blues are very pretty.

I have a KimChi Chic beauty haul to share with you today. These are the first (and so far only) products I’ve purchased from this brand (I purchased them on Beauty Bay), and I think the packaging of these compacts is so cute.
Let’s start with contour and bronzer. I got the Thailor Contour in 01 Tawny, which contains a contour shade and a highlight shade. I also got the Thailor Bronzer in 01 I Went to Malibu, which is a warm, matte shade, and the lightest shade as far as I know. I haven’t used these products a ton yet, but the times I’ve used them, I’ve liked them.
I purchased two of the blush duos. They’re called the Thailor Blushes, and I picked up the shades 02 Mercedes R and 06 Vacation. 02 Mercedes R are two more neutral shades, whereas 06 Vacation are two super bright and fun shades, as you can see. All four shades are really pretty.
Lastly, I got purchased two highlighters. The highlighter in the lilac packaging is the Thailor Get Glow highlighter in 03 Hollywood Glow (it comes in multiple different shades), and the other one is the Pearl Gone Wild highlighter in 01 Hope, which I’m pretty sure only comes in that one shade. Both are very pretty and intense.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Some blues on the eyes and a peachy nude lip to go with the dress.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I need to do more green and yellow eye looks, because it’s such a fun colour combo.

Happy Halloween! I can’t believe that we’ll be in November by toworrow. Time really flies. But at this time of the year, I don’t mind, because it only means that we’re getting closer and closer to December and Christmas time, which you might have noticed is my favourite time of the year. But first, I’ll be celebrating Halloween tonight by watching “The Nightmare Before Christmas” while eating Halloween sweets, and I’m pretty excited about that as well. But before I get to that I’m going to share a few favourites from the month of October with you.
Converse Run Star Hike pride sneakers: These have been my go-to sneakers this past month. They’re the most comfortable Converse I’ve ever owned, and I love that they’re a plain white with all the rainbow details. They just go with so many outfits.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose setting powder: I’m still way behind on hauls, so I haven’t posted anything about this powder yet. However, I get why people love this powder, because so do I. It just looks and feels so smooth on the skin all day. I’m so glad that I finally decided to try it out.
Catrice HD Active Performance Freezing spray: I don’t often steer away from Urban Decay All Nighter when it comes to setting sprays, but I have to say that I’ve really been enjoying this spray from Catrice. As it says on the lid, it’s very cooling and refreshing, and I also think it makes a difference when it comes to keeping the make-up in place all day.
Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Vanilla tea: This tea has actually been a favourite for over a year, maybe almost two years, and I can’t believe that I haven’t featured it in a favourites post until now. It doesn’t contain caffeine, so it’s the perfect evening tea, and I drink a cup most evenings. And if you like vanilla, you would like this.
About Time (film): I’d heard and read that this was supposed to be a really good film, but for some reason I wasn’t intrigued by the time travelling premise, but when I visited my parents last week my mum had it on DVD and we decided to watch it, and I’m glad we did. Even though the time travelling is a bit strange, it’s a great romantic story, and it you like those, you would probably like this film.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Books Ariel palette, highlighter, and lipgloss, and combined they created the perfect look to go with my pink dress and starfish earrings (which will be in my next haul).

I have a smaller Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. I purchased these products back in late May, when Jeffree Star released a bunch of new shades of his Velvet Trap lipsticks, so I purchased four of those. I also picked up a couple of other products at the same time.
I had to get two of the red shades from the Velvet Trap lipstick line extension. I picked up RedRum, which I also own in the Velour liquid lipstick formula, the older Lip Ammunition formula, and as the Velour lip liner. It’s my favourite shade of classic red. I also picked up the shade Red Affair, which I also own in the Supreme Gloss formula, and I love that shade too.
The shade that I was most excited about was definitely the shade Extending the Olive Branch, which is a mustard yellow. I’d been wanting a mustard yellow lipstick for a while, so I was so excited to finally have one in my lipstick collection, and I love it. I also picked up the shade Gardening Hoe, which is a muted nude yellow, which is also a shade that I’m really into.
One of the other two products I picked up was the Made By Mitchell Mini Mitchell Vol. 1 palette (& pouch). I really like the Made By Mitchell eyeshadows, and this mini palette comes with some fun colours.
The last product I picked up was a back-up of the Soda #wowbrow Flat Brow Liner in the shade Kim, because I love this brow pencil. It’s one of my favourites.
