5 favourites – June

A busy June has come to an end. On Friday my summer holiday begins, and I can’t wait! I don’t remember the last time I needed a long holiday this much. June was a month of ups and downs (probably more downs than ups), so I think some time off will do me good. I have a couple of trips planned for the upcoming month, which I’m very excited about, but I’m also excited about spending time at home with my family. The weather has been lovely lately, and I hope that it’ll continue that way. Besides being excited about my upcoming holiday, I’m also excited about this month’s favourites, so let’s get into those.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip gel tint (shade: 2): I’d heard good things about this product, so I was very excited to try it out. I love that it grips to the skin just like a gripping primer, so it last very well, and it has a beautiful natural, glowy finish. I wore it to a wedding two weekends ago, and it looked great all day and night.

Glamlite Translucent Bake and Set powder: This is another product that I’d heard good things about, and I agree that it’s such a good powder. It’s been my go-to powder this past month, and it looks great on the undereye area as well as all over the face.

Nabla Freckle Maker: I’ve run out of my beloved KimChi Chic Candy Girl Fake Freckles in Afternoon in The Flower Field, so I wanted to try out a new freckle product and went for the Nabla Freckle Maker. It’s really good and easy to work with.

KAYALI Capri in a Bottle Lemon Sugar I 14 Eau de Parfum: I got the entire set of KAYALI summer scents last summer, and I’ve used them all since, but my favourite is the Lemon Sugar scent. It’s sweet and delicious.

Lilo & Stitch (live action film): I’m a huge Disney fan, and Lilo & Stitch (2002) is very special to me and my sisters, so I invited them to watch the 2025 live action version with me in the beginning of June, and we all loved it. We were worried that it might ruin the original film for us, but it didn’t. It was such an enjoyable film, and the live action Stitch might be even cuter than the cartoon version.

Emphasis on the outer corners

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I think this make-up look goes perfectly with the outfit, and it was fun creating an eye look with emphasis on the outer corners.

Attic find

Here’s what I wore Friday April 11. This matching navy set (and the little scarf) used to be my mum’s. We found it in my parent’s attic, when we did a big clean out back in March, and I decided to take it home.

(Blouse + skirt + scarf – second hand, tights + heels – Monki)

Sunny yellows and oranges

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The Fantasy Cosmetica Monk palette was the perfect palette to wear with this fun floral outfit. Those sunny yellows and oranges just make me happy.

Grey undertone pastels

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You know I love a pastel make-up look, and I really like how these particular pastels have a grey undertone to them. It makes it a bit of a different pastel look.

Monolith haul (February 2025)

I have a Monolith haul to share with you today. It includes five eyeshadow palettes and four lipsticks. Let’s begin with the palettes.

Angelica Nyqvist, who’s one of my favourite beauty creators, is behind Singe Beauty, and she loves colourful eyeshadows just like I do, so I was very excited to get my hands on her first eyeshadow palette, Galactic Visitor.

I’m not sure why I was drawn to the Ensley Reign Cosmetics Light in Your Eyes palette, since it’s a neutral leaning palette, but I would say that it’s a neutral palette with a twist, and it is really pretty.

I really enjoy Gourmande Girls’ colour stories and formulas, and the Bitten palette is beautiful. I wore it on my eyes here and loved the look.

Another brand who’s colour stories and formulas I love is Fantasy Cosmetica, and how pretty is the Monk palette?!

I love original Coca-Cola, and even though I had heard that this palette wasn’t one of the great quality palettes from Glamlite, I still bought it for the theme. I agree that it isn’t the best palette quality wise from Glamlite, but I still thought the look I created with it turned out nice.

You have seen me wear some of the Unearthly Cosmetics Menacing Metals lipsticks in recent posts, and I really like them. I picked up the shades Bloodstone, Sire, Void, and Ancient from the first launch, and I may or may not have picked up some of the spring shades as well:)

Peach perfect

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the Gourmande Girls Peach Perfect palette on my eyes, and even though I don’t love peachy shades on their own, I do like them paired with green.

(Base: primer – Catrice Generation Joy Magic Skin Perfector in C01 Embrace Yourself, foundation – e.l.f. Cosmetics Soft Glam satin foundation (shade: 13 Fair Neutral), concealer – Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer (shades: RN1 + P1), powders – Catrice Under Eye Brightener setting powder in 010 Light Rose + Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish pressed powder in Soft Porcelain, freckles – KimChi Chic Candy Girl Fake Freckles in Afternoon in The Flower Field. Face make-up: bronzer – Colourpop Super Shock bronzer in Get Sandy, blush – Colourpop Super Shock cheek in All Laced Up, highlighter – Colourpop Super Shock highlighter in Stole the Show. Eye make-up: base – Sigma Beauty Eyeshadow Base Primer in Ignite, eyeshadows – Gourmande Girls Peach Perfect palette (shades: Peaches & Cream + Peach & Quiet + The Peach Boys + Peach Out + Peach for the Stars + Georgia Peach + Pappa Don’t Peach) + Colourpop Super Shock highlighter in Stole the Show (inner corners), mascaras – Glisten Cosmetics Spectra Lash mascara in Green + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (shade: Green Altitude), eyeliners – MAC Powerpoint eye pencil in Mistletoe Mint + Revolution x Bratz Sasha eye pencil. Eyebrows: MAC Shape + Shade brow tint in Taupe + e.l.f. Cosmetics Brow Lift. Lips: Colourpop Lippie pencil in Absolute Zero + Colourpop Glowing Lip in Desert Aura)

Pops of orange

Here’s what I wore Sunday April 6. Another green and blue look, but this time with pops of orange.

(Blazer + trousers – Monki, T-shirt – Kaffe, belt – second hand, sneakers – Nike)
