Didn’t love it at first

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Initially, I didn’t love this eye look, but when I look at it now, I actually don’t mind it.

Lyko haul (November 2024)

I have a rather large Lyko haul to share with you today. The haul mainly consists of a bunch of products from two limited edition collection from Catrice plus a few random products as well.

Let’s begin with the Catrice Mystic Forest collection. I purchased all three nail lacquers, two metallic liquid eyeshadow, the two cream blushes, and the two lipsticks.

The nail lacquers are in the shades C01 Enchanting Lights, C02 Falling Leaves, and C03 Woodland Magic, and they’re super pretty darker metallic or glittery shades.

I picked up the metallic liquid eyeshadows in C02 Falling Leaves and C03 Woodland Magic. I like that the metallic liquid eyeshadows and the nail lacquers came in corresponding shades.

The cream blushes are in the shades 010 Purple Touch and 020 Red Allure, and they might look really scary and dark in the pans, but they looked really nice on the cheeks.

Catrice tends to release mostly pinks, reds, and berries, when it comes to lipsticks, so I love that this collection included a black lipstick called C01 Deepest Secret and a deep red called C02 Dark Seduction.

Catrice also released a really pretty holiday collection in 2024 called Festive Treasures. I picked up the velvet headband, the two hydrating shine lipsticks, two of the Blush Drops, the multi-use palette, and one of the metallic eye pencils.

Here’s a closer look a the headband. It’s very festive indeed.

I really like the velvet packaging on the hydrating shine lipsticks, which came in more classic Catrice lipstick shades; a pink called C01 Merry Kissmas! and a berry called C02 Kissberry.

The Blush Drops came in three shades, but I just got two of them; C01 Merry Mauve! and C03 Chestnuts Roasting. I’ve already decluttered C01 Merry Mauve!, because I thought it looked a little patchy on the skin, and the packaging broke as well. The packaging has broken a little on the C03 Chestnuts Roasting shade as well, but I really like the colour, so I’ll keep it a little longer and see, if I get use out of it. If not, I’ll declutter that one too.

I was quite impressed by the multi-use palette in C01 All I Want Is Velvet. I wore most of the eyeshadows and both cream cheek products here.

This metallic eye pencil in C01 Mistlegreen is a very nice dark metallic green shade perfect for holiday make-up looks.

The last three products I picked up was the Catrice Pure Volume Magic Brown mascara in 010 Burgundy Brown, which I really like, the Rimmel Nail Care Nail Nurse 7-in-1, and the Lancôme C.E. Skin Transforming highlighter in 04 Halo Glow. I had recently bought another shade of the Lancôme C.E. Skin Transforming highlighter, and I really liked this white gold shade as well.

Neutral leaning rosy/berry tones

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the Pat McGrath Labs Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction eyeshadow palette, and I think the look turned out really pretty. I actually quite like these neutral leaning rosy/berry tones for a make-up look.

Orange addition

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You know I love a purple eye look, and I think the orange crease liner is a fun addition to the look.

Harlequin print

Underwhelming shimmers

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I bought a Viseart eyeshadow palette back in January (which I haven’t hauled yet), because I’d been curious to try one, and I liked the mattes, but the shimmers were very underwhelming.

A longer car ride

Here’s what I wore Saturday January 25. I went to visit some family, and it was a bit of a longer car ride, so I opted for a comfy, but cute outfit.

(Sweatshirt – Monki, skirt – second hand, tights – Calzedonia, sneakers – Nike)
