Huge Asos haul part 1

I have a huge two part Asos haul to share with you. This first part is clothes, shoes and a bag. The second part is jewellery and hair accessories.

When we get closer to Christmas, I’ll be posting my annual Christmas clothing haul with pieces that are new this season. However, I’ve also purchased a few Christmas jumpers, or in this case sweashirts, from last year on sale. The first one is from Monki and has a very dainty silver embroidered Christmas tree on it. The other two are both from Asos’ men’s department, and you know I can’t resist a Disney print, and I love Home Alone; it’s such a classic Christmas film.

Fitted roll neck tops are stables in my wardrobe, and since I’m obsessed with everything purple, I thought I would add this lilac one from Stradivarius to my ever growing roll neck top collection.

And now on to a couple of graphic T-shirts with two musical artists that I love. The Fleetwood Mac T-shirt is from Asos’ own brand, and the Whitney Houston T-shirt is from Daisy Street.

One of my other obsessions, besides everything purple, is corduroy. Corduroy trousers have been my go-tos for autumn and winter for the past 3 years or so, and I want them in all colours. For now I’ve added this pair of steel blue ones from Weekday.

I couldn’t resist these dino socks, and they came with light blue pair as well. They’re from Asos’ own brand.

I’ve also purchased three pairs of shoes. Three very different pairs of shoes. It’s finally boot season, and I really liked the zebra print hiker style boots (from Asos’ own brand). The platform loafers are from Raid, and they’re very Gucci like and perfect for ’70s inspired looks. And the last pair is just some super pretty fuchsia pink velvet heels also from Asos’ own brand.

Last, but not least, the prettiest belt bag ever. The picture doesn’t do it justice, because this belt bag from Skinnydip has the most amazing holographic rhinestones all over the front of the bag, and I love it.

The other way around

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Instead of wearing grey on the eyes and purple on the lips, I decided to do it the other way around, since I hadn’t worn a grey lipstick in quite a while.

Casual Friday suit

Here’s what I wore Friday September 11. I wanted to wear my new argyle sweater vest and put together this casual suit inspired look. Even though the colour scheme is quite muted (apart for the pops of purple), and don’t think the look is boring at all.

(T-shirt + sweater vest – Monki, blazer + trousers + belt – second hand, socks – H&M, sneakers – Nike)

Beautiful blend

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love this look! The metallic orange and yellow eyeshadows blended together beautifully, and the frosty orange lipstick was a perfect match to the eye look.

Room for blue

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. In between all the purple eye looks, there’s definitely room for a blue one.

New favourite pair of jeans

Here’s what I wore Wednesday September 9. These are the jeans that I featured in my September 5 favourites, and you’ll probably be seing a lot of these in the future. I haven’t enjoyed wearing a pair of jeans this much in a while.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul

I have a Jeffree Star Cosmetics haul to share with you today. I purchased these items when the Orgy collection launched, so I’ve had them for a while now, and I’ve used most of them.

I decided not get the Orgy palette and only get the Mini Orgy palette. As a colourful make-up lover this collection didn’t really speak to me, and I’m not a fan of the concept of doing an all matte palette and an all glitter/metallic palette, but I do love a good glittery/metallic eyeshadow, hence why I picked up the Mini Orgy palette. I’ve only used this palette once so far, and I was actually a little disappointed. I used the top row, and the only nice shade was Champagne Drip. The others lack pigmentation. Hopefully the rest of the shades are better.

The other product I purchased from the Orgy collection is the Magic Star luminous setting powder in Translucent. I also purchased the original Magic Star setting powder in Fair, which I’ve been loving so much (I featured it in my 5 favourites post from September). I’ve only used the luminous setting powder once or twice so far, and I’m not quite sure how to use it properly yet.

I’ve also bought another Velour liquid lipstick from the Shane Dawson collaboration collection. This is a hot pink called Jeffree, What the Fuck?.

And last, but not least, I’ve purchased one of the hand mirrors. I chose the glittery purple one, since I love glitter and purple is my favourite colour, and I’ve done my make-up in this mirror pretty much every day since I received it. It’s very lightweight, and the quality is very nice.

Stunning blue silver glitter

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The blue silver shade (I’m not sure how to describe the colour) on my eyelids is one of the most stunning glitter eyeshadows I’ve seen. All the shades in the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette are stunning to be honest.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte + MAC Strobe Cream (shade: Pinklite), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – Ofra Cosmetics x Nikkietutorials Glazed Donut highlighter. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde eyeshadow palette (shades: Off Balance + Nebula + Cosmic) + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – NYX Faux Whites eyeliner in Seashell. Eyebrows: Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown + e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: L.A. Girl Perfect Precision lip liner in Pinky + MAC Barbiestyle lipstick)

Pretty floral second hand dress

Here’s what I wore Saturday August 29. I went to a baptism celebration, and I thought it was the perfect occation to wear this pretty floral second hand dress that I’ve had for about 1,5 years but that I had never worn before. I love the colours and shape of the dress and I love the accessories and make-up I paired with it.
