Here’s what I wore Monday April 23. These are the first outfit pictures taken in my new apartment. I don’t know if it’s the best place to take outfit pictures, but it has to do for now.

I bought a bunch of stuff on sale from H&M’s webshop a while ago, and I thought I would share them with you. These are the clothes I bought, and then I’ll make a separate post about the accessories another time.

I love pink, and I thought this camisol with pretty lace details would be a great piece for both daytime and nighttime. For daytime, I would probably wear it over a roll neck top or T-shirt, and for nighttime, I would wear it on its own.

I thought this navy, velvet, off should top was really cute. I don’t own anything like it, and I think it’ll be great for a night out.

I still love the colour red, and this cropped sweatshirt is so cute and really comfortable. I’ll be posting an outfit with this top very soon.

You can never have too many roll neck tops in my opinion and now I have a light grey one as well.

I love cartoons and fun prints, and how adorable is this Bugs Bunny jumper.

I know Christmas is still far away, but it’s never too soon to start adding new Christmas jumpers to my collection. This one is really subtle, which is very unlike the rest of my Christmas jumper collection, but then I can start wearing it already in November:)

I love midi skirts, and I really liked the colour combination of this one. It’s a very feminine style of skirt, and I know it’s going to be fun to style.

Lastly, I bought these bright blue slacks. I love a nice pair of slacks, and this blue colour is so bright and fun. I’m really inspired to style them with a bunch of other bright colours.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love doing my make-up for parties! This is quite a simple party make-up look, but I’m obsessed with it. I love the silver glitter winged eyeliner, and you can wear any lip colour with this eye make-up. I went with a red lip to match my dress.

Here’s what I wore at a party Saturday April 7. I tend to wear trousers at parties and nights out, but for once I opted for a dress. I featured this dress in my recent second hand haul, and I decided to style it with black accessories and red lips.
(Dress – second hand, choker – Krystal London, boots – Deichmann)

Here’s what I wore Friday April 6. A blazer paired with a plaid skirt always gives me school uniform vibes, but to dress up the look and make a bit more fun, I added a roll neck top and some floral, pointy toe boots.

It’s been exactly one month since I got the keys to my new apartment. Before I moved, I went looking for a second hand dining table, but I didn’t find one. However, I did pick up a few pieces of clothing. I usually never find anything in the party wear section of second hand stores, but this time I found a very nice little black dress. It actually has a red layer with a sheer black layer on top with little beaded flowers, which you can’t really see in the picture. Anyhow, it’s a very nice late ’90s/early 2000s dress. I’ve already worn it to a party, and I’ll be posting that look in a couple of days. I also found a very nice black top with beaded details and a beautiful neckline. I always look for shirts when I’m second hand shopping, and I’m loving the colour green right now, so I couldn’t leave the beautiful green shirt behind. Lastly, I found a simple denim skirt, which can be styled in so many different ways.

Here’s the make-up I wore this outfit. I love how Jeffree Star Skin Frost highlighters photograph. So blinding!

Here’s what I wore Thursday April 5. I love this outfit! It’s a bunch of my favourite items put together, and I always love a good mix of patterns.

Here’s what I wore Saturday March 24 at my sister’s birthday party. This dress is a floral dream in my opinion. I love the fit of the dress and I love the beautiful, bright colours.
(Dress – H&M, heels – second hand)

One of my sisters speaks highly about Essence eye shadows. More specifically the single eye shadows that you can put in a custom palette, and I thought about trying those out, but then I saw some new eye shadow palettes from their Trend Factory collection, and I chose to try out the one called In Love With Rose which is number 02 & Happily Ever After.

When you swatch the shadows with your fingers, the pigmentation seems decent, but as you can see that pigmentation doesn’t translate on to the eyelids; at least not with the lighter shades. They do blend out nicely though, and if you like a more subtle eye shadow look, these are very pretty. But be careful with the shimmery shades, because they have some fall out. The lasting power of the shadows were very good; I took the first picture right after applying my make-up and the second picture 12,5 hours later, and the eye shadows hadn’t changed much at all. Because I like pigmented eye shadows, I probably wouldn’t buy any more of these types of palettes from Essence, but I’m still curious about their single eye shadows, and I might try those out to see if the formula is different.
