Another Asos sale haul (late April 2024)

I know I recently posted a two part Asos sale haul, but I actually have another such haul today though not as big.

There’s only one piece of clothing in this haul and it’s this pair of denim shorts from Asos Design. I’ve really enjoyed styling and wearing these this summer.

The majority of this haul consists of accessories. These are the jewellery I picked up. The rhine stone necklace, the strawberry earrings, and the mixed metal bracelet are from Asos Design, and the golden bracelet is from Topshop.

You have probably noticed my love for hair accessories, and I’ve been loving a bow hair clip. This cute, denim one is from the brand Sister Jane.

I have these big hair clips in a lot of different colours, and I’m happy to have added this clear one from DesignB London to my collection, because it goes with everything.

Lastly, I bought some beauty products. The e.l.f. Skin Holy Hydration! face cream in the fragrance free version is a repurchase. So is the e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip primer, which is one of my favourite primers. I also got another shade of the e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo liquid blushes; it’s in the shade Dusty Rose. And then I picked up the Made By Mitchell Blursh Glaze liquid highlighter in Biscuit Bish. The liquid highlighters are probably my favourite Made By Mitchell products.

Colourpop haul – Beauty and The Beast + more (April 2024)

I have a Colourpop haul to share with you today. This haul includes the Beauty and The Beast collection, some sale items and more.

I’m pretty sure this is the entire Beauty and The Beast collection, which includes an eyeshadow palette, a Super Shock highlighter, two pressed powder blushes, two lip kits, and a lip mask.

This is what the eyeshadow palette looks like. I think this is a very pretty palette that captures the film and the characters of Belle and the Beast very well. I wore it here together with some of the other products from the collection.

The two pressed powder blushes come in the shades Ms. Potts and Chip, and both shades are lovely.

The Super Shock highlighter is in the shade Special Guest. I don’t particularly like this huge packaging, but I love the Super Shock highlighter formula.

These are the two Lux lipstick kits in Great Adventure (Belle’s kit) and Break the Spell (Beast’s kit). The Great Adventure kit comes with the Not So Odd Lux lipstick and the Bookworm Ultra Glossy lip, and the Break the Spell kit comes with the Last Petal Lux lipstick and the Kind & Gentle Ultra Glossy lip. I really like both of these lip kits.

And of course the collection had to include a cute, on theme lip mask, and this one is called the Enchanted Rose lip mask.

And sticking with the Disney Princess theme I picked up the Disney Designer collection It’s A Princess Thing palette on sale.

The only other palette I got (which wasn’t on sale) is the So Elemental palette, which is a beautiful cool-toned blue palette.

I don’t know anything about Naruto, but I love the Super Shock shadows, and I thought this Ninja Academy Super Shock shadow set looked really cute. It comes with the three shades (from left to right) Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha.

I also picked up a couple more Super Shock shadows. These are in the shades Flower Child and For Real.

Speaking of Super Shock, I also love the Super Shock blushes, so I picked up these three shades called (from left to right) Growth Flirt, Drop of a Hat, and Bardot.

I hadn’t tried this more glowy version of the pressed powder blushes, so I purchased these two shades called Morning Vibes and Dancing Queen.

Lastly, I wanted to try the So Juicy plumping gloss balms and picked up the She’s So Juicy set, which includes the shades (from left to right) Guava Glaze, Dolled Up, and Berry Spritz. So far I like these.

Unexpected warm yellow

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You know I love a purple make-up look, and the warm yellow in the crease of the eye adds something fun and unexpected to the look.

Scorpio

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Scorpio palette for my eye look. I don’t use my Jeffree Star Cosmetics palettes as often as I used to these days, but I still really like the formula of the eyeshadows, and I think this Scorpio eye look turned out very pretty.

(Base: primers – Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder (shade: Universal) + Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin serum skin tint (shade: 2), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 concealer (shade: NC15), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + e.l.f. Metal mixing

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 16. I’ve never been the one to mix silver and gold jewellery, but these silver and gold butterfly platform sandals made me step out of my metal mixing comfort zone.
