Yellow and red eyeshadow

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I feel like yellow and red eyeshadow can sometimes be a bit tricky, but I love how this look turned out.

Indie make-up haul (April 2025)

I have a rather large indie haul to share with you today. I made an order from Nomad Cosmetics when they had a 25% off everything sale, and I also made two orders from Monolith, one of them being from their Easter sale.

I picked up three palettes in the Nomad Cosmetics sale, the first one being the Royal Europe intense color & chrome palette, which includes beautiful jewel tone mattes and five stunning multichromes. I wore the palette on my eyes here.

I also got the Chicago Speakeasy intense color & chrome palette, which has a mix of purples, greens, and neutrals. I created this look with it.

The last Nomad Cosmetics palette, I bought, was the Polar Express intense eyeshadow palette. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a holiday/Christmas themed palette. I’ve actually created two looks with this palette; this one and this one.

In my first Monolith order, I picked up a blush palette, three eyeshadow palettes, and a liquid lipstick. The blush palette is the Bellabeautébar Baked Blush palette, which was actually on sale. To be honest, I’d kind of forgotten that I have this palette, but it’s really pretty, so I need to bust it out again.

I was unsure if I should get the Bellabeautébar Green Goddess palette, but I ended up getting it. I was a bit disappointed in this palette when I created this look, but I need to create more looks with it to form a proper opinion on it.

I was also a bit disappointed in the Ensley Reign Cosmetics Glow palette. It looks like a colour story that I would love, but the pastels were kind of weak. I wore it on my eyes here.

But here’s a palette that did not disappoint at all! I love the look I created with the Unearthly Cosmetics Murky Meadow palette. The quality of these shadows is amazing, and I love these murky shades.

The last product I picked up in the first Monolith order was the Unearthly Cosmetics satin liquid lipstick in Mandy, which is just a shade that I’ve had on my wishlist for a while.

Now let’s move on to the pieces I picked up in the Easter sale. I got two more of the Kaleidos Futurism palettes; Futurism VI: Lunar Lavender and Futurism VII: Sashimi City. These are lovely little palettes that I wore here and here.

From Kaleidos, I also got the quad palette in Glowing Iris, and I love these shades! I created this look with it.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the colour stories from Arttitude Cosmetics, even this Urban Neutrals palette, which is more muted and cool-toned. I created this stunning black and grey smokey eye with it.

Did I need the Blend Bunny Cosmetics Plastic palette? Probably not, but I was a bit curious about this smaller and more neutral format from the brand. However, did I end up skipping the neutrals and went for the pinks the first time I used this palette? Of course.

I also got a few cheek products. This is the Give Me Glow Cosmetics Bunny & Playmate Dream Duo. I have another one of these cheek duos, and I really enjoy them.

And lastly, I got another shade of the Simply Posh Cosmetics liquid blushes. This is the shade Rosy Cheeks. I also decided to pick up the Bellabeautébar Skin of a Killer highlighter. So pretty, right?

5 favourites – August

Can you believe that it’s the last day of summer calendar wise? I actually sort of can, because we’ve actually had a very warm and sunny summer in Denmark this year, so the summer has felt longer than usual. It also looks like the warm-ish weather isn’t going to be over just yet. However, I’m slowly starting to look forward to autumn and winter, and especially Christmas of course:) But first, let’s say goodbye to August with some favourites.

Dark blue striped denim jacket w. zipper: I don’t feature clothing pieces in these favourites posts very often, because I tend to wear a lot of different clothes, however, I’ve been wearing this denim jacket as a layer in the slightly cooler mornings so many times this past month.

NYX Lift & Snatch! Brow tint pen (shade: Ash Brown): I bought this brow product a few years ago, but never really got into it. I decluttered it because I thought the shade wasn’t right for me, but I decided to try it again in a different shade. Or so I thought. I’d picked up the same shade, but for some reason, I like it a lot better now. Maybe my old one had changed colour over time.

The 7 Virtues Clemetine Dream Eau de Parfum: 2025 has been the year of fragrance for me. I’ve really gotten into trying out different perfumes and body/hair mists, and it’s been a lot of fun. This perfume from The 7 Virtues is a fresh and fruity scent with notes of clementine, magnolia, and vanilla. A perfect summer scent.

Thunderbolts* (film): I love Marvel, but I haven’t been loving a lot of their latest releases. I’d heard good things about Thunderbolts*, so I watched it a couple of nights ago, and I really enjoyed it. Definitely one of the better Marvel films that has come out in years.

Good Girl Complex (Pæn pige problemet) by Elle Kennedy (book): I have another book favourite this month, and a very different one from my book favourite of last month, but a great read nonetheless. I’m pretty sure that there are two more books in this series, and I would love to read those as well.

So pigmented

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to create another eye look with the Cosmic Brushes Undergrowth palette, and man, those eyeshadows are pigmented!

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – Rare Beauty Positive Light tinted moisturizer (shade: 14W), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powder – Glamlite Translucent Bake and Set powder, freckles – Nabla Freckle Maker. Face make-up: bronzer – Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt serum bronzer in Fair, blush – Glaminatrix Cosmetics Liquid Cheek & Lip Flush in Sweet, highlighter – MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl. Eye make-up: base – Wet n Wild Megalast eyeshadow primer, eyeshadows – Cosmic Brushes Undergrowth palette (shades: Reeds + Algae + Fern + Nettle + Boggy + Undergrowth + Vegetation), mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (shade: Green Altitude), eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 006 Green Tea. Eyebrows: MAC Shape + Shade brow tint in Taupe + Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze. Lips: Catrice Intense Matte lip pen in 070 Re(a)d My Lips)

Short shorts

Here’s what I wore Tuesday July 1. I usually don’t wear shorts this short, but it was a really hot day, and I think this outfit is really cute.

(Hat + top – H&M, belt – second hand, shorts – Pieces, heels – Tamaris)
