Collective haul – clothes + beauty (January)

I have quite the large collective haul to share with you today. These are clothing and beauty items that I purchased throughout January. Let’s begin with the clothes.

You know how much I love Christmas and Christmas jumpers, so I always look out for them when the January sales begin. This cardigan is from PULL&BEAR, and I didn’t already have a Christmas cardigan, so I had to add this to my ever growing Christmas jumper collection.

I might as well talk about both of these next pieces at the same time considered they have the exact same print. They’re from Monki, and I love the retro floral print and the pastel colours. I’ve already posted a look wearing these two items.

I’m really glad that I discovered these tights from the brand Calzedonia. I picked up a purple pair, another navy pair (because I wear navy tights very often), a dark brown pair, and an off-white pair. I just really like the thickness and texture of these tights.

Let’s move on to make-up and skin care then. I’ve been sort of collecting these I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale palettes, so I had to add the Mulan one to my collection. The eyeshadows are usually okay, though not my favourites, but the cheek products are quite nice.

I was quite intrigued by these Milani Cheek Kiss blush palettes. I picked up both the powder and the cream version, and so far I really like them. Especially the cream palette.

I talked about how much I’ve been enjoying Essie nail lacquers in a recent haul, and I also picked up this stunning pink shade with a gold shift called #680 One Way For One. I also finally got my hands on the e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty bronzer in Tan Lines, and it quickly became one of my favourite cream bronzers.

And speaking of e.l.f. Cosmetics Putty products, I also picked up another one of their Putty blushes. This bright pink shade is called Bora Bora. I also got a Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Blush in the shade Natural Glow, and then I picked up the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion for spot treatment.

The other two skin care products I got was a full size of the Clinique All About Eyes, which I love and use everyday. The Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser was a free gift with purchase. From Revolution I picked up the Eye Bright Illuminating Under Eye Concealer in Porcelain. And then I purchased the following two products from the Essence Catching Clouds collection.

I got the Essence Catching Clouds Cloud-touch Mousse Primer in 01 Up On Cloud and the Essence Catching Clouds Cloud-touch Highlighter in 01 Daily Dose Of Dreamy Clouds. I’m not quite sure how I feel about the highlighter, but I really enjoy the primer.

And last, but certainly not least, I purchased three more of the Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl blushes. These blushes are just so stunning; if you love a glowy blush, you have to try these out. I picked up the shades 03 Coral Pop, 04 Rose Quartz Pop, and 06 Garnet Pop, and I love them all.

Overall dark

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I usually wear orange make-up with the orange 70’s dress, but this time around I decided to go for a brown smokey eye and a deep purple lip, and I really like this overall dark look.

MAC winter sales + Lunar Luck haul

I got a MAC winter sales + Lunar Luck collection haul to share with you today. Let’s begin with the sale items.

I purchased two more of the Aute Couture Starring Rosalia nail laquers, because I really enjoy the first two that I got. These two are in the shades Canela En Rama and Cayena. The bottles are so pretty too.

I also picked up the other shade of the Extra Dimension Skinfinish from the Botanic Panic collection which is called Royal Flush. This is a blush on me though, but it’s super pretty nonetheless. And I don’t think I’d ever heard of the Iridescent powder from MAC, but I picked up the shade Silver Dusk, and I thought I would give it a try.

I got another MAC x L Powder Kiss liquid lipcolour as well. This is in the shade Haute Pants, and it’s a very pretty blue based red. I really like the Powder Kiss formulas.

I loved the Cruella collection, and I thought about getting the 217S blending brush when the collection first launced, but MAC brushes are so expensive, so I’m glad I waited for a sale. And those were the items I purchased in the winter sales.

From the Lunar Luck collection, which was the 2022 Lunar New Year collection from MAC, I picked up the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Lunar Lights, which is a pretty gold, and the Powder Kiss lipstick in If Wishes Were Roses, which is a very nice pink. The packaging is beautiful as well.

Wasn’t sure

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. When I decided to create this blue and pink eye look, I wasn’t sure that the shades would go together, but I really think they do. And that pink shimmer on my lids is just so pretty.

(Base: primers – Tarte Timeless Smoothing primer + MAC Strobe Cream (shade: Pinklite), foundation – L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (shade: 015 Porcelain), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Brightening concealer (shade: Fair 10 C), powder – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose setting powder. Face make-up: bronzer – NABLA Skin Bronzing in Ambra, blusher – Clinique Cheek Pop Pearl blush in 04 Rose Quartz Pop, highlighter – Wet n Wild MegaGlo highlighting powder in Blossom Glow. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + BH Cosmetics Miss Claus The Lit List palette (shades: Rosy + Midnight + Gumdrop + Bougie), mascaras – Essence Volume Booster lash primer + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, eyeliner – Marc Jacobs Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon (shade: (Pink)yswear). Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Essence lipliner in 14 Femme Fatale + MAC Red Haring lipstick)

A bit too much

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really like this look except for the brows; they’re a bit too much I think.

(Base: primers – Tarte Timeless Smoothing primer + Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter (shade: 1 Fair), foundation – e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream (shade: Fair 120N), concealers – Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch concealer (shade: 1 + 3), powder – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose setting powder. Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – Natasha Denona Bloom highlighting blush, highlighter – MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Fleur Sure. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Coach x Sephora Collection Rexy palette (shades: Cedar + Mauve + Taupe) + KVD Beauty Dazzle Stick long-wear eyeshadow in Hail Surge + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascaras – Essence Volume Booster lash primer + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, eyeliner – MAC Studio Chromagraphic pencil in NC15/NW20. Eyebrows: NYX Thick It. Stick It! brow mascara in Taupe. Lips: MAC Redd lip pencil + MAC Vermillion Vee lipstick)

Cocopanda haul: nail lacquers and back-ups

I think this will be the last haul from 2021 that I have yet to post; I’m so behind, I know:) It’s a very small sale haul from Cocopanda consisting of nail lacquers and back-ups.

I think it was only last year that I started getting into Essie nail lacquers, and these two shades are so good. The glittery orange one is called #757 Cupid’s Beau, and the bright red one is called #781 Bunches Of Love.

I try not to buy too many back-ups, but I know that I’ll use up my favourite foundations. My number one favourite foundation has to be the L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (which is now called 32H Fresh Wear I think), and I use the shade 015 Porcelain. I also really enjoy the e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo CC Cream in the shade Fair 120N, and the Catrice True Skin Hydrating foundation, which I use in shade 004 Neutral Porcelain, is one of the best full coverage foundations.

Lastly, I got some back up Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponges, because it’s my favourite make-up sponge, and then I got the e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless concealer brush as a free gift.

Orange, burgundy, and mustard

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had a lot of fun creating an orange, burgundy, and mustard make-up look to go with my Winnie the Pooh sweater vest. Now that I think about it, it’s actually not that often that I wear very warm make-up looks, but I really like this look.

(Base: primer – Essence Wanna Bee My Honey? luminizing primer in 01 You’re Bee-autiful!, foundation – L’Oreal Paris Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation (shade: 015 Porcelain), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + NYX Born To Glow radiant concealer (shade: Pale), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish powder (shade: 1 Fair). Face make-up: bronzer – Hourglass Ambient Lighting bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light, blusher – MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish x4: Surrounded by Stars (shade: Hushed Tone), highlighter – MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish x4: Surrounded by Stars (shade: Oh Darling!). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – By BEAUTY BAY Wilderness Palette (shades: Snow + Sunrise + Marigold + Raw + Heat + Fossil), mascaras – Essence Volume Booster lash primer + Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, eyeliner – NYX Vivid Brights eyeliner in She Bang. Eyebrows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Gosh Velvet Touch lipliner in 005 Flirty Orange + MAC Patent Paint lip lacquer in Painted Desert)

Winnie the Pooh

Here’s what I wore Thursday March 31. How cute is this Winnie the Pooh sweater vest?! Very cute, if you ask me, and I love the colour scheme of this look too.

(Sweater vest – Zara, shirt + jeans – H&M, boots – Asos)

At least

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s not my favourite look, but at least it goes with the outfit.

(Base: primer – e.l.f. Poreless Putty primer, foundation – Catrice True Skin Hydrating foundation (shade: 004 Neutral Porcelain), concealers – Anastasia Beverly Hills Magic Touch concealer (shade: 1 + 3), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Catrice All Matt Shine Control powder Healthy Look in 100 Neutral Fresh Beige. Face make-up: The Balm Take Home The Bronze bronzer in Oliver, blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Happy-Go-Rosy, highlighter – Catrice Disney Princess highlighter palette in Ariel 010 Live Your Dream (shade: Sparkling Shell). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Catrice Disney Princess eyeshadow palette in Ariel 010 Treasure The Moment (shades: Scuttle + Flounder + Sebastian + Ursula + Shell), mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Beauty Bay sale haul + news from Soda (late December)

I have a Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. Some of the items were on sale, and some of them were new (at the time) from Soda. Let’s begin with the sale items.

Actually, before we get in to the sale items, I just wanted to include that I received a free Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Orgy palette, because the one I bought originally was from a bad batch. To be honest, I’m not sure the quality of this one is much better, but it was a nice thing for Beauty Bay to do.

Okay, now let’s move on to the sale items. I picked up two things from NABLA; the NABLA Liberty Six Customizable Palette Feather Edition and the NABLA Skin Glazing in Lola. I needed a little magnetic palette to store some single Natasha Denona eyeshadows in, and this NABLA one looked like it would be perfect for that. And I really like the NABLA complexion products (I already have a bronzer and a highlighter), so I decided to get one of the blush shades, and Lola is such a pretty shade.

These are the rest of the products that I purchased on sale. I picked up the NYX Bare With Me concealer serum in 02 Light, because I’d heard people on social media rave about it, but to be quite frank, I haven’t used it much yet. I should give it another go though. I’ve also heard good things about the Wet n Wild MegaGlo highlighting powders for years, so I picked up the shade in Blossom Glow, and I love it. It’s so pigmented and so pretty. And the last products in this haul are from the brand Soda. I love their #talkofthetown lipsticks, so I bought another shade. This is a pinky nude called 007 Nude Queen. The Soda #browpurrfection Ultra Thin Brow Liner in Kim was not on sale; it was new at the time. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I like their Flat Brow Liner, so hopefully I’ll like this one as well.

The last three products are from the Soda #exploretheocean The Little Mermaid collection. I picked up one of the eyeshadow palettes, the face palette, and the lip gloss.

The eyeshadow palette, I decided to pick up, is called Under The Sea, and it’s the most colourful of the three from the collection.

The face palette is called We Share The Earth, and it’s very pretty.

And the lip gloss is called Precious Voice and is a pretty standard pinky nude shimmery gloss, but it’s pretty nonetheless, and I love the packaging on this whole collection.
