Huge Catrice haul (February 2024)

I have a huge Catrice haul to share with you today. It includes their Valentine’s Day collection and S/S 2024 drop.

Let’s begin with the Heart Affair collection that came out around Valentine’s Day. As you can see, I picked up a lot of the products from this collection. Let’s take a closer look at them.

The collection included two blush stamps. They’re in the shades C01 Love Expression and C02 Show Me Love, which are similar shades to the packaging. These are very pigmented, and maybe a bit too intense for my liking.

The highlighter in CO1 Stole My Heart comes in a very cute heart shaped compact, and it’s a nice slightly golden champagne shade.

I got two of the three matte liquid lipsticks shades. The shades I picked are C02 Married?! and C03 Taken?! I’ve only worn C03 Taken?! so far, but I really liked the formula, and the colours are very pretty.

I also bought two out of three shades of the full shine lipsticks. I chose the shades C01 Hearts On and C03 Heartbreaker. These are also very pretty and definitely shiny.

Lastly from the Heart Affair collection, I got two of the nail lacquers in shades C01 No One’s Lover and C03 Love Game, and I love both shades. The packaging is nice too.

Next up are the new spring/summer products I picked up. This is the Skin Glaze hydrating serum primer. So far I like it.

I’m not sure how I feel about the Magic Shaper face cream palette in 010 Holy Grail though. The bronzers are too deep and I’m not sure I like the formula very much.

These are the Blush Affair liquid blushes in 020 Orange Fizz and 030 Ready Red Go, and I remember these to be pretty nice.

Here’s a little bundle of products I got, and two of them are some of my favourites from this haul.

The Space Glam holo highlighter in 010 Beam Me Up! is beautiful. It has a transparent base and then it shifts different colours from pink to gold to green. I can’t believe that Catrice managed to create such a stunning shifty highlighter at such a low price point.

Here’s a closer look at the two lip products. I really enjoyed the Intense Matte lip pen in 070 Re(a)d My Lips, and I know I like the Scandalous Matte lipstick formula, so I picked up another shade called 130 Slay The Day.

Here are some more lip products I picked up. I really like the Shine Bomb lip lacquer in 060 Pinky Promise. I haven’t tried the Melt & Shine juicy lip balm in 100 Sunny Side Up yet, but I also really enjoyed the Drunk’n Diamonds plumping lip balm in 050 Bury Me In Rubies.

The Space Glam products are some of the big winners in my book. These are the Space Glam chrome eyeshadows in 010 Moonlight Glow, 020 Supernova, and 030 Galaxy Lights. I’ve only worn 010 Moonlight Glow on my eyes so far, but all three shades swatch beautifully. These are great multichrome eyeshadows from the drugstore.

For eyes I also got the Deep Matte liquid eyeshadow in 040 Lime Light and the High Gloss liquid eyeshadow in 010 Glossy Glam. I’ll be trying out the Deep Matte liquid eyeshadow tomorrow, and I haven’t tried the High Gloss liquid eyeshadow yet.

I’m very impressed by the Kohl Kajal waterproof eyeliners. I picked up the shades 110 Orange O’Clock, 150 Ultra Marine, and 170 Candy Rose.

Lastly, I purchased three of the Pastel Please nail polishes. I chose the shades 010 Think Pink, 020 Cloud Nine, and 040 Mint Breeze. I love that they all have shimmer.

No (liquid) foundation

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had to get up early that day, so I tried to do a quicker make-up look without foundation (apart from a bit of powder foundation), and I’m happy with how it turned out.

Beauty Bay haul (January 2024)

I have a Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. This is probably going to be my last Beauty Bay haul in a really long time. I made two rather large/expensive orders around Black Friday, and I never received my orders. I was in contact with customer service over a two month long period, and I was never provided with a refund for my missing orders. I usually don’t share this kind of information, but I lost quite a lot of money, which is obviously very upsetting. I purchased the products I’m hauling today while my correspondence with customer services was ongoing.

Some of the products I originally purchased back in November was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Scorpio palette and two of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Shiny Trap lipsticks that launched with the Scorpio collection. I have to admit that I really dislike the outer packaging of this palette, but I think the colour story is really pretty. I did a look with this palette recently, and I really liked how it came out.

These are the Shiny Trap lipsticks in Hot Devotion and Gardening In Mayhem, and they’re really pretty. I’m wearing Hot Devotion here.

From e.l.f. Cosmetics I picked up the Camo Hydrating CC Cream in Fair 120N and the Camo liquid blush in Coral Crush. I like both of these products.

I’ve always loved the By BEAUTY BAY eyeshadows and especially the limited edition 20 colour palettes. The Reckless Romance is this year’s Valentine’s Day release from By BEAUTY BAY, and I really like the dark take on a Valentine’s palette. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

Lastly, I got the By BEAUTY BAY sheer tinted lip balm in Strawberry as a free gift with purchase. I like a tinted lip balm, and this one is cute.

The crease liner is back

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The crease liner is back and in a pretty, metallic, purple, shifty version.

Mustardy tones

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. When it comes to neutrals, I usually have the most fun playing with yellow-based, mustardy tones.

Zalando haul (January 2024)

I have a Zalando haul to share with you today. It includes two pairs of sneakers and some make-up.

I love that Nike Cortez sneakers are back and in a bunch of different colourways and materials. I purchased another neutral coloured pair, I think the colour is called sesame, and they’re so nice and versatile.

This is my first pair of sneakers from Asics. They’re not sleek like a pair of Nike Cortez, but they’re so comfy, and I like the floral print on the side.

The rest of the haul is make-up. I love the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara in Pink Air, and the NYX Vivid Rich eyeliner in Emerald Empire is also nice. I’m not sure how I feel about the Revolution Beam Bright silk touch highlighter in Diamond Glow yet.

I’ve been using the NYX Pro Fix Stick correcting concealers a lot since I bought them. I got the shades 0.1 Green, 0.2 Pink, and 03 Alabaster.

I’m always intrigued by a lip product of this format. These are the NYX Fat Oil Slick Click shiny lip balms, and I picked up the shades 05 Link In My Bio, 08 #Thriving, 10 Double Tap, and 11 In A Mood. I’ve only worn the pink shade so far, and I remember liking it.

I’ll say it again again

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again again; I love red and pink together!

Large Colourpop haul (January 2024)

I have a rather large Colourpop haul to share with you today including the Twilight collection, the Lost in Love Valentine’s collection and more.

It’s been a while since I’ve waited in line to buy limited edition make-up online, but even so I was lucky enough to get the items I wanted from the Colourpop x Twilight collection at the original launch in January. I loved Twilight as a teenager, both the books and the films, so the collection is very nostalgic to me. I picked up the palette, the two Super Shock highlighters, and the three Lux lip oils.

This is what the Twilight palette looks like. After I had bought this collection I rewatched all of the films, and I think the colour story of the palette captures the colours of the first film so well.

I love Super Shock highlighters, so I really wanted to get my hands on these. They’re in the shades Vampire Skin and Meadow.

I purchased the Lux lip oils as a set. The set includes the shades Bells, Team Edward, and Team Jacob.

I picked up a lot of items from the Lost in Love collection, which was this year’s Valentine’s Day collection from Colourpop. I got the palette, the three Jelly Much shadows, the three lip & cheek balms, and one of the Ultra Glossy lips.

I love the Flirty Talk palette from last year’s Valentine’s Day collection, and I think I still prefer that one over the Lost in Love palette, however, this palette is really pretty as well. I’m wearing the palette and a couple of other products from this collection here.

I really enjoy the Jelly Much shadows in general, and these three shades are some of my new favourites. They’re called 4ever Valentine, All Love, and Moon & Stars.

The heart-shaped compacts from Colourpop are so cute, and I love that they did them with a new formula for this collection. They’re called the lip & cheek balms (I’ve only worn them on my cheeks though), and the shades are called Heart’s Content, Adore You, and Cutesy Wootsy. So far I really like this formula.

I believe this is my first time trying the Ultra Glossy lip formula. I just picked up the red shade called Lover Era, and it was very pretty.

Okay, I caved and purchased another mystery box. This was called the Secret Stash Mystery Box, and as you can see, it was a smaller box, which included four eyeshadow palettes and a F23 brush. I didn’t own any of these items beforehand, so I’m pretty pleased with this mystery box.

Here’s a closer look at the palettes; Lush Life, Colour Vision, Cashmere Forever, and She’s a Natural. I was most excited to get the Lush Life palette, which has really pretty packaging and a nice colour story.

Sticking with palettes, I decided to add two more monochromatic 9-pan palettes to my collection; the Wine & Only palette and the Mint To Be palette. Both are really pretty and good quality.

I love the Créme gel liners, so I was very intrigued to try out the multi-chrome version. I got this set including the shades Power Trip, Ventura Blvd, and Actin’ Up. These are very good multi-chrome eye liners.

Here’s a little random selection of sale items I picked up. I got the Extra Glazed palette, which is a very nice little blush and highlighter palette. I also picked up two blue Super Shock eyeshadows; Lap Dog and Eyeing You (Haunted House collection). And I also wanted to try the Ultra Blotted lip formula and got this pretty muted red shade called Keep It Classy.

The very last two products I purchased were the Super Shock highlighter in Stole the Show and the Glowing lip in Status. I can’t believe I didn’t already own the Stole the Show Super Shock highlighter, because it’s so stunning. And I did already own the Glowing lip in Status, but mine had never smelled good, so I picked up a new one (luckily is was on sale), because I love the colour.
