Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. If you’re looking for a gorgeous deep red/burgundy lip colour, MAC’s Diva lipstick is the way to go.

NYX lip liners

If you are looking for inexpensive but good quality lip liners, NYX is the way to go. NYX has several different types of lip liners, and I recently extended my lip liner collection with four of the NYX Slim lip pencils and six of the NYX Suede Matte lip liners. Both of these lines of lip liners are really affordable and they’re really pigmented. Of the Slip lip pencils I bought the shades (from left to right) Plush Red, Nude Truffle, Black Berry, and Fuchsia. Of the Suede Matte lip liners I bought the shades (from left to right) Sway, Amethyst, Run the World, Stone Fox, Copenhagen, and Cannes. The great thing about the Suede Matte lip liners is that they match some of the shades from NYX’s different lipstick lines e.g. the soft matte lip creams and the Liquid Suede cream lipsticks.

Gorgeous colours

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used my Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette for the first time and I love how my eye make-up turned out. On my lips I’m wearing the Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in No Tea, No Shade and I think it’s such a gorgeous colour.

Beauty Killer + No Tea, No Shade

DSC_1947DSC_1955DSC_1942

These are the newest additions to my Jeffree Star Cosmetics collection. I finally caved in and bought the Beauty Killer eye shadow palette when it was on sale on beautybay.com a little while ago, and it is so beautiful. I’ve worn half the shades so far and they’re really pigmented. I also bought the Velour liquid lipstick in No Tea, No Shade which is so gorgeous. I’ll soon be posting looks where I’ve used these products.

Khaki green and brown

Toned down

dsc_1902dsc_1910

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Even though the mint green sweatshirt invites you to play with colour, I decided to go for a more toned down neutral make-up look and I really like how it turned out.

(Base: primer – Wet n Wild CoverAll primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + Maybelline Fit Me concealer (shade: 15), powders – NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette (shades: Soft Light + Cream) + Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed powder (shade: 001 Transparent). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Zoeva En Taupe eye shadow palette (shades: Stitch By Stitch +  Hour By Hour + Sheers & Voiles) + MAC eye shadows (shades: Satin Taupe + Nylon) + Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Light to Medium (shade: Sand), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. 5 favourites – February

The last month of winter has (finally) come to an end. I’m tired of the cold, so I really can’t wait for spring weather to arrive. In February I was quite busy with uni stuff, but I managed to find time to see family and friends. March is going to be a busy month as well, but I kind of like be occupied. Anyways, let’s say goodbye to February by talking about some of my favourite things from the past month.

dsc_0783

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain): I did a first impressions post on this foundation back in october. Back then I wrote that I neither loved nor hated this foundation, but it has definitely grown on me. If you have dry skin, this is probably not the foundation for you, but is you have normal or oily skin, I would definitely recommend you try it out.

dsc_1757

Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold: Last month my favourite highlighter was the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Peach Goddess, this month it’s Ice Cold. The Jeffree Star Skin Frost highlighters are amazing, and in contrast to Peach Goddess which is a bit softer but still glowy, Ice Cold is very intense and I love it.

dsc_1637

Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Redrum: I rarely feature lip products in my favourites post, because I wear so many different shades throughout a month. But when I wear a certain lip product once a week for a month (or longer) I have to mention it. You might have noticed by now that I’m obsessed with the Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipsticks and my favourite shade is Redrum which is the perfect classic red.

img_1526

Casio watch: I had been wearing the same silver watch since I was 12 years old, so I thought it was about time to wish for a new one. I got this Casio watch for Christmas, and it has been a favourite since I got it, but I’ve worn it almost everyday in February, and I just love the nice and simple design.

The Shawshank Redemption (film): Just like in January I’ve watched so many great films this past month, but the one that takes the cake is this 1994 classic. This film has been on my ‘must watch’ list for years, and it was just as great as I’d hoped.
