First gal on Venus

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I used the GlossGods Cosmetics First Gal on Venus palette to create this beautiful, warm eye look, and I was reimpressed (if that’s a word) by the quality. I also love the shimmery dark brown lip.

Indie make-up haul (March 2025)

I have an indie make-up haul to share with you today. I purchased one palette from Nomad Cosmetics, and the rest I got from Monolith.

Nomad Cosmetics is a new brand to me this year, and I’ve been really enjoying their palettes, so when I saw the new launch at the time, the Fairy Tale Europe intense color & chrome palette, I just had to have it. Being from Europe, I know of all of these fairy tales, and I love the colourful shimmers in this palette. The neutral mattes are a bit boring to me though, but I did create this pretty look with the palette.

Another brand whose eyeshadows I’ve been enjoying is Arttitude Cosmetics. This is the Ink & Roses palette, and I think it’s such a great colour story. I wore it on my eyes here.

Blend Bunny Cosmetics create great eyeshadows as well, and the Beauty Below palette is just so dark and moody and stunning. I did manage to create a not-so-dark look with the palette though.

The last items in this haul are from Simply Posh Cosmetics. I’d been kicking myself for not getting the original Cozy Cabin palette, so when it came back, I picked it up immediately. I love a holiday themed palette, and this colour story is just so yummy. I created this look with it.

I also had to get the Snow Angel palette from Simply Posh Cosmetics, because I love cool tones and I love pastels. This whole palette has a bit of a grey undertone to it, which might also be visible in this look I did with it.

Lastly, I picked up two liquid blushes from Simply Posh Cosmetics, which launched at the same time as the Snow Angel palette. The shades are called Frosty and Berry Cold.

Happy lime green

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I love a lime green eye look; it always makes me so happy.

Eye make-up: base – Wet n Wild Megalast eyeshadow primer, eyeshadows – Ensley Reign Cosmetics Whispering Woods palette (shades: Gnome Alone + Mossling + Dream Willow + Sprouting + Whispering Woods + Fairy Ring + Whispering Bloom), mascara – Kiko Milano Smart Colour mascara in 07 Navy Blue, eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 006 Green Tea. Eyebrows: MAC Shape + Shade brow tint in Taupe + Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze. Lips: MAC Brick-O-La lip pencil + Rare Beauty Soft Pinch tinted lip oil in Beloved)

Weekend colour theme

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Green and pink always look good together, and it was kind of my colour theme for that weekend.

Matas haul (March 2025)

I have a beauty haul to share with you today. I purchased these products from Matas, and I got some of the items 20% off.

Dior is one of my favourite high end make-up brands, and the Dior Forever Luminizers look so beautiful, so I had to pick on up. I got the shade 03 Pink Halo, and isn’t it pretty?

I picked up some products from a new at the time limited edition Essence collection, which I’ll get to next, but first I thought I’d show you the other Essence items I got. I bought the Essence foundation stick in the shade 50, and it’s quite a nice foundation stick. I also got the Essence Line N Stain tattoo lip liner in 02 Must Have Brown and two Essence blending brushes.

I purchased a bunch of things from the Essence FaBOWlous collection. I got the FaBOWlous highlighter in 01 Get That Bow Glow, the FaBOWlous loose setting & baking powder in 01 Bow Set Go, the FaBOWlous jelly lipstick in 01 Be My Bow Bae, two of the FaBOWlous freckles pen in 01 BowTastic Smile, and the Essence FaBOWlous nail stickers in 01 Ballet Of Bows. A very cute collection indeed.

Lastly, I got a back-up of the e.l.f. Cosmetics Brow Lift in Clear, which is one of my favourite brow gels.

Blush fail!

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into when I applied the Lethal Cosmetics x Adventure Time Marceline blush to my cheeks. The blush looks black in the pan, but turns out to be a very intense purple pink shade, and it keeps developing for a while, so you don’t know how intense it’ll end up being. If you look past the blush fail, I think the rest of the look is pretty cool.

(Base: primer – Colourpop Pretty Fresh Set It Up primer, foundation – Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream Spf 42 (shade: 21 Light Beige), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + NYX Bare With Me concealer serum (shade: 02 Light), powder – Anastasia Beverly Hills loose setting powder in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – Catrice Melted Sun liquid bronzer in 005 Tan Lines, blush – Lethal Cosmetics x Adventure Time Marceline blush, highlighter – Colourpop Twilight Super Shock highlighter in Vampire Skin. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 20 Cream + Nomad Cosmetics Berlin Untergrund intense color palette (shades: NDW + Klubnacht + Tekkno + East Side Gallery + Kreuzberg), mascara – Kiko Milano Smart Colour mascara in 07 Navy Blue, eyeliner – Marc Jacobs Fineliner Ultra-Skinny Gel Eye Crayon (shade: Steel(etto)). Eyebrows: MAC Shape + Shade brow tint in Taupe + Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze. Lips: KVD Beauty Everlasting lip liner in Skully + Unearthly Cosmetics Menacing Metals lipstick in Void)

Collective haul (March 2025)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It includes a few clothing pieces and accessories and of course some beauty products.

I was eyeing this coat from the brand Stella Nova for so long, but it was quite expensive, and I didn’t want to pay full price for it. But back in March I found it 50% off, which I saw as a sign for me to get it, and I’m so glad I did. I can’t wait to wear it again in autumn when the weather gets a bit colder again.

I love a simple tank top, and H&M usually makes them in a lot of different colours. I picked up this olive green one on sale.

I found these navy pinstripe trousers in a sample sale, so I got them for a good price. They’re from a brand called Co Couture.

This little lime green bag is from the brand True Decadence, and I purchased it to wear to a wedding earlier this summer.

I also wore this orchid hair clip at that wedding. It’s from the brand Sui Ava.

Moving on to make-up and other beauty bits. I’ve mentioned before how much I love the Huda Beauty Blush Filters, so I got another shade, Bubblegum, on sale.

I’d already purchased a few shades of the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Suede shimmer blushes, but I’d been wanting the matte shade in Lolly Poppy 03, and it’s stunning.

I picked up these last bits from Sephora. I got a back-up/new of the Natasha Denona Macro Tech eye pencil in Fushi, a Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix shimmer in Flamingo Fling 05, the Rare Beauty Selena’s Essential eye duo including the All Of The Above weightless eyeshadow stick and a mini Perfect Strokes universal volumizing mascara, and lastly the Ole Henriksen Hygge Hotel body care duo including a Stay in Touch restorative hand créme 75ml and a Firmly Yours toning dry body oil 30 ml.
