MAC x Black Panther: Wakanda Forever collection

You probably know by now that I love MAC Cosmetics, and I’m also a huge Marvel fan, so I obviously had to pick up some products from the MAC x Black Panther: Wakanda Forever collection. I haven’t watched the film yet, but I will when it releases on Disney+. I have used most of these products though, so let’s take a closer look at them.

It’s not that often that I pick up eyeshadow palettes from MAC collections, but this palette called Eye Shadow X 8: Marvel Studios’ Black Panther Collection By M·A·C had an interesting colour scheme. I don’t think all shades are created equal (at least not the shades I’ve tried), but it’s not a bad palette.

I absolutely had to pick up one of the Extra Dimension Skinfinishes. I mean, just look at it! I bought the lightest shade called Royal Challenge, which is described as a warm gold with rose flecks, and even though it looks a little dark for light skin, I can make it work with a light hand.

I purchased two of the lip products from the collection. Both are purple shades, which is no surprise if you know me. I got a Love Me liquid lipcolour in Wakanda Forever and a lipstick in Wakandan Sunset.

These products are obviously not from the Black Panther collection, but I got this Take Care Skin Trio as a free gift with purchase. The trio includes a Gently Off eye and lip makeup remover, a Fix+ Magic Radiance, and a lip conditioner. I’ve already used the lip conditioner so much, and I really like it.

Sephora haul – some holiday releases

I have a Sephora haul to share with you today. It includes holiday releases and more, and I’m really excited about these products.

I love Fenty Beauty cheek products, and when I saw the limited edition Double Cheek’d Up cream blush duo, I just had to have it. The shades are called Peony Droppa and Mali’booze, I’ve worn both shades, and they were super pretty on the cheeks. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I don’t buy a lot of Benefit products, but I’ve been intrigued by their blushes and highlighters for a while, and I thought their holiday cheek palettes looked so pretty this year, so I picked up the Cheek the Mail holiday set. The trio includes Terra blush, Hoola bronzer and Cookie highlighter. Terra is actually one of the new blush shades I really wanted to try, and I’ve been wanting to try Cookie highlighter for quite a while. I used to have Hoola bronzer in my collection and loved it, so this is a close to perfect face palette. The packaging is so cute as well.

Tarte is another brand that I’ve never really been interested in, but I’ve purchased a few products from the brand lately among other things this Precious Gems Amazonian Clay cheek palette, which includes five blush shades and the Park Ave Princess bronzer. If this palette had included a highlighter instead of one of the blush shades, it would have been a perfect travel palette.

I also bought the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Squad set, because I’ve been wanting to try the lip plump. This set came with the lip plump in the shade Cherry Blossom and a lipstick in the shade Rose. The lip plump feels very nice and minty on the lips.

I’ve added another Rare Beauty Kind Words matte lip liner and lipstick to my collection. Both are in the shade Wise.

I love the KVD Beauty Dazzle Stick long-wear eyeshadows, and when I saw that they released two new shades, I just had to have them both. The shades are called Green Flash and Heat Burst and both shades are super pretty.

Lastly, I got two free gifts; a Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara and a KVD Beauty Mini Studded Kiss lipstick in Double Dare.

Collective Beauty Bay haul (October)

This is my second to last haul from October this year, and this is a collective Beauty Bay haul. It’s a mix of different eye and cheek products, so let’s get into it.

First up, eyeshadow. I didn’t pick up the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Banana Fetish palette when it initially launched, because I don’t wear yellow eye looks that often. However, I do really like mustard yellows, and the more I looked at this palette the more I liked the colour story, so I picked it up on sale. It’ll be featured in my next make-up look post.

I love the By BEAUTY BAY eyeshadow formulas (both matte and metallic), and I usually really enjoy their 20 pan palettes. This is the Dark Fantasy palette, which is this year’s holiday palette from By BEAUTY BAY, and I love this colour story. I wore it here, and I love the first look I created with it.

And let’s stick to holiday releases for a bit. I picked up the Revolution The Grinch x Revolution Mean One shadow palette and the Revolution The Grinch x Revolution Don’t Give a Grinch liquid eyeshadow set. I love the packaging and the colour story of the palette (I’m wearing it here), and so far I’ve only used the green liquid eyeshadow, but I really liked that too.

e.l.f. Cosmetics has really been stepping up their game this year and has launched some really great products. I really like the No Budge cream eyeshadows, so I picked up some more shades; Sand Dune and Oasis.

And speaking of e.l.f. Cosmetics, I’ve also been enjoying their No Budge shadow sticks, and their putty products.

I picked up the No Budge shadow stick in the shade Perfect Pearl, which is a pretty champagne colour. I also picked up another No Budge matte shadow stick, and it’s in the shade Thrift Shop.

I also purchased one more of the Luminous Putty blushes. This one is in the popular shade Maui. And at the same time, I got another No Budge cream eyeshadow, and it’s in the shade Canyon.

Now let’s move on to cheek products. I picked up another shade of the Made By Mitchell Blursh Lights liquid highlighters, because I really like this formula. This one is in the shade A Chance of Peach, and it’s a very unique highlighter shade to my collection.

I purchased my first product from Trixie Cosmetics. This is the Back to the Fuchsia blush palette, and I loved how unique and stunning these plum and purple shades are.

Lastly, as a free gift with purchase, I received the Sample Beauty Glitz Glue, which I’m excited to try.

Collective haul – clothes, shoes, and make-up (October) + Christmas clothes

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It’s a mix of clothes, shoes, and make-up, and most of the items were purchased in the October, but I’m also going to include the few Christmas clothing pieces I bought this year. Let’s begin with those.

I purchased three Christmas jumpers this year. This first one is from my local supermarket’s brand VRS. I thought the sequin snowman was cute.

I’ve already posted an outfit with this cardigan. It’s from Pieces.

I’ve also already posted a look with this Grinch sweatshirt. It’s from H&M, and I love the Grinch green colour of it.

Last Christmas clothing item I picked up this year are these leggings. They’re from a brand called JDY, and they’re super comfy.

Now let’s move on to the stuff I bought back in October. I got two cardigans from H&M. I don’t own a lot of cardigans, but I thought they would be practical to wear when breastfeeding.

I also purchased two shirts from H&M; a navy corduroy one and a denim one.

I also picked up two more nursing tops from H&M MAMA. I really like these nursing tops from H&M MAMA, and I got them in quite a few colours now.

When I saw these chunky silver platform heels from Monki, I knew I had to have them. They’re perfect for the party season, and I’ve already worn them to a family Christmas party.

I recently picked up these two pairs of bauble earrings from my local supermarket. I love festive earrings.

And now let’s talk make-up. I picked up four items from the Essence Pumpkins Pretty Please! autumn collection. I got the Pumpkins Pretty Please! eyeshadow palette in 01 Impressed, Blessed & Pumpkin Obsessed, the Pumpkins Pretty Please! colour-changing lip oil in 01 Pumpkin Kisses & Autumn Wishes, the Pumpkins Pretty Please! matte lipstick in 01 Sweeter Than Pumpkin Pie (which I wore here), and the Pumpkins Pretty Please! matte nail polish in 02 Autumn Leaves & Pumpkins, Please?.

How fun is this Shrek X I Heart Revolution collection? I picked up the Transformation lip balm in Transformation and two lipsticks in Donkey and Gingy. I wore Gingy earlier this month, and I really liked it.

I also got the Shrek X I Heart Revolution Gingy highlighter even though it’ll be two dark on me. But just look how cute it is!

Lastly, I have four indie eyeshadow palettes to share with you that I’m super excited about. I made my first ever purchase from GlossGods Cosmetics. I picked up two of their newer palettes; the Vintage Glam Remixed palette, which is a stunning purple palette, and the Look For Rainbows palette, which is a beautiful all shimmer palette. I’m so excited to play with these.

And the very last two palettes (and items) in this haul are the Oden’s Eye Christmas Eve palette and Merry Christmas palette, which I featured in my latest 5 favourites post, because they’re that good. I’ve falling in love with Oden’s Eye eyeshadows this year, and the colour stories of these particular two palettes really speak to me. They’re absolutely gorgeous, and the quality is amazing!

MAC Bubbles & Bows Holiday 2022 collection

Every year I’m excited to see the MAC holiday collection. The 2021 holiday collection was not my favourite packaging wise, but I think this year’s Bubbles & Bows collection is really pretty. I also like the products I’ve tried so far, so just as previous years I want to share which products I got with you.

These are the products I purchased from the main collection. I also picked up a palette and two kits.

This is the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Wrapped In Gold. This pink gold shade is not unique to MAC, but it’s pretty nonetheless, and I love the bow embossings.

MAC usually includes fun, sparkly single eyeshadows in their holiday collection, and this year is no exception. This is the Sparkler Eyeshadow in Ice Gold, and it’s super pretty (I’m wearing it here).

I usually like MAC eye pencils, so I got the Powerpoint eye pencil in Bottle Service, which is a pretty champagne gold.

I purchased three lip products from the main collection. This is the Powder Kiss liquid lipcolour in Cheers Dears, which is described as a red wine. I haven’t worn it yet, but I know I love the formula.

The lipsticks this year are the Lustreglass Sheer-Shine lipsticks. I got the red shade called Put A Bow On It, and I was really excited to try this formula. I’m wearing it here, and I think it looks stunning.

This is a new product from MAC, which is exclusive to this collection. It’s the Fizzy Feels lip balm in Taste for Bubbles, and it’s supposed to react with the pH of your lips. It also smells like wine.

The collection included several different eyeshadow palettes this year. They’re called Eye Love Surprises eye shadow palette X6, and I chose the specific one called Bold Bows. I picked this one, because it was one of the more colourful ones.

Then I purchased two kits. This first one is the Taste Of Bubbly Mini Lipstick Kit in Sparkling Wine. The shades are (from left to right) Burnt Sugar, Dolce De Hooray!, and Sugar Spiked. I’m wearing Sugar Spiked here.

The second (and last) kit I purchased was the Indulgent Glow Face Kit in Rosé. It comes with a cute, little make-up bag, a 142SES brush, and an Extra Dimenstion Skinfinish in the shade Bottomless Brunch. I thought the Extra Dimension Skinfinish was really pretty, and I’ve used it as a blush topper, which works very well.

Catrice and Essence Disney Villains collections

Catrice and Essence have made another Disney collab, and this time the theme is Disney Villains. I picked up a lot of stuff from both Catrice and Essence, and I think this might be my favourite Disney collab the two brands have done so far.

Let’s begin with Catrice. Both the Catrice and the Essence collections contain three eyeshadow palettes, and I got all six. The three villains in the Catrice collection are Maleficent, Cruella, and the Queen of Hearts.

The Maleficent palette is called 010 I Run This Castle. It has a cool-toned purple colour story, but the shades are very light, and I’m the least impressed by this palette so far.

The Cruella palette is called 020 Fashion Above All, and it’s a black and grey palette with a pop of red. This is my favourite palette so far; the quality is very nice.

The Queen of Hearts palette is called 030 All Ways Are My Ways, and it’s a warm neutral palette with a few yellows and berries. This palette was quite nice as well on first try.

The collection came with two highlighter palettes, and I picked up one of them. I got the Cruella one called 020 Walk Like You Mean It Darling.

These are probably my favourite products from both collections. They’re the Catrice Disney Villains Maleficent liquid highlighter in 010 Magic and the Catrice Disney Villains Cruella liquid highlighter in 020 Divine. Do you see the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand resemblance?

I also picked up the Maleficent face primer and the Cruella hydrating fixing spray. I’ve used the primer a couple of times, but I’m not blown away by it. I haven’t tried the fixing spray yet.

The Catrice collection also included two lipsticks; the Maleficent Satin Collagen lipstick in 010 Elegancy and the Cruella Satin Collagen lipstick in 020 Iconic. I love the packaging and the embossings on the actual product.

The last product I got from the Catrice collection was the Maleficent nail polish in 010 Thorns, which is a super pretty iridescent purple shade.

Let’s move on to the Essence products. The three villains in the Essence collection are the Evil Queen, Ursula, and Scar.

The Evil Queen palette is called 01 Magic Mirror, and it’s a nice warm neutral palette with some purples mixed in.

The Ursula palette is called 02 So Long Lover Boy, and it’s a pretty purple palette. This purple colour scheme is a lot nicer than the one in the Maleficent palette.

The Scar palette is called 03 My Territory, and it a neutral palette with some pops of green. I haven’t worn this palette on my eyes yet.

Essence definitely also got some inspiration from Charlotte Tilbury, when they created the Evil Queen Maxi Blush in 01 Love At First Bite and the Ursula Maxi Blush in 02 Leaving U Speechless. However, I really enjoyed both of these. I used the Ursula one as bronzer and highlighter.

This is the Evil Queen ELECTRIC GLOW colour changing lipstick in 01 Obsession. I haven’t tried it on yet, but the packaging is cute.

These Disney collections usually has face serums, and this one is no exception. The Evil Queen one is called 01 Beauty, and the Ursula one is called 02 Promises.

I love a nice hand cream, so I had to try the Evil Queen one.

Lastly, I picked up the Make-up Tools & Bag Set from the Essence collection. It comes with a make-up bag, six brushes, and three reusable make-up remover pads. I’ve already travelled with the make-up bag, and it’s the perfect size to bring on a weekend trip.

Collective sale make-up haul (October)

I have a collective sale make-up haul to share with you today. This haul includes a bunch of products I’ve been wanting to try plus some other random stuff.

I thought about picking up the Huda Beauty Lovefest collection for quite a while before I finally decided to do so. The Lovefest Obsessions palette is so pretty; I really like the orange and purple colour story.

From the Huda Beauty Lovefest collection I also picked up the Tear & Shade lip quad which comes with two Silk Balms and two Liquid Matte liquid lipsticks. Two of them are in orange shades, and the other two are deeper burgundy shades.

I got a few more shades of the Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Ink liquid lipsticks, because I really like the formula. These are in the shades 35 Cheeky and 10 Lippy.

Now let’s move on to a mix of random products.

Recently, I’ve heard people talk about Clarins lip oils, so I decided to get two different versions; the Instant Comfort lip oil in 09 Chocolate and the Lip Oil Shimmer in 08 Burgundy Wine.

This Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Lipstick in 22 Ironic Burgundy was very heavily discounted, so I thought I would try it out.

I love the NYX Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows, so I bought another shade and it’s called 03 Come Thru Coconut.

This is my first ever Kylie Cosmetics product. It’s the Lip & Cheek Glow Balm in Pink Me Up, and it’s very pretty.

I love duochrome eyeshadows, so I purchased another Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Flakes. It’s in the shade Strobe Light. I also picked up the Layla Cosmetics Rarity Trichrome liquid eyeshadow in 04 Tanzanite.

Lastly, I bought the MAC Kiss It Twice Powder Kiss Liquid Duo: Pink, which comes with the two shades Billion $ Smile and A Little Tamed. I love this lipstick formula.

e.l.f. Cosmetics haul

I have a small e.l.f. Cosmetics haul to share with you today. e.l.f. Cosmetics has come out with lots of great products lately, and I’m really impressed by the stuff in this haul.

I like the e.l.f. Cosmetics No Budge shadow sticks, but I like these No Budge matte shadow sticks even more. These are in the shades Vintage Suede, Lava Lamp, and Bombshell.

Another great cream shadow product from e.l.f. Cosmetics is the No Budge cream eyeshadows. I picked up the shades Golden Rays and Wildflower, and they’re so pretty.

I love the original Putty blushes, and I’ve been wanting to try the Luminous Putty blushes for so long. These are the shades Belize and Isla Del Sol. I’ve only worn Belize so far, but it was really pretty on the skin.

The last product I picked up is the Holy Hydration! face cream in the fragrance free version. I’ve heard good things about this face cream, and I’m excited to try it.

Cocopanda 10 year birthday haul – 20% off

I have a Cocopanda haul to share with you today. I made this order when they had their 10 year birthday sale, where a lot of products were 20% off.

Let’s begin with skin care and base make-up. I picked up the Essence Hello, Good Stuff! Pore Minimizing Serum, a back-up of the L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude plumping tinted serum in the shade 0,5-2 Very Light, which is one of my favourite foundations, and I also picked up a back-up of the Clinique All About Eyes, which is my go-to eye cream.

I had to get some more of the NYX Ultimate Glow Shots liquid eyeshadows. I purchased the shades 06 Golden Goji, 11 Clementine Fine, and 2 Raspberry Rave.

For lips I purchased the Essence Holo Bomb Shiny lipgloss in 01 Iced Gloss, the NYX This Is Milky Gloss in Cherry Milk Shake, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Satin Lipstick in Butterscotch.

I also picked up the MAC Kiss It Twice Powder Kiss Liquid Duo: Best Sellers. It comes with the two shades Mull It Over and Fashion, Sweetie. I love this liquid lipstick formula.

Sephora haul (September)

I have a collective Sephora haul to share with you today. As far as I remember I made two Sephora orders in September, and I thought I would put them together in this one haul, so let’s get into it.

I had to get the newest Natasha Denona palette; the My Dream palette. I love that it has a mix of neutrals and berries, and I love the duochrome shade called Vision.

I also purchased the Natasha Denona My Dream Cheek Trio, and it’s such a pretty and wearable little cheek palette that goes with most make-up looks.

I also got some lip products and another eyeshadow palette.

I’d heard a couple of beauty youtubers that I follow talk about the Tarte Tartelette Jewel Amazonian Clay palette, and I thought it looked like a very nice mini palette perfect for travelling or for just doing a quick and easy neutral look.

I picked up another Rare Beauty Kind Words matte lipstick and lip liner. The lipstick is in the shade Strong and the lip liner is in the shade Bold. I really want the Bold lipstick as well, but it’s always sold out.

I found this Pat McGrath Labs Lip Fetish Divinyl lip shine 40% off and thought I would give it a try. It’s in the shade Electric Lotus, and it’s super pretty on the lips.

With my second order I got this Make Up My Story Box as a free gift with purchase. It contains 8 minis and 1 full size product the full size product being the Sephora Collection Cream lip stain in 01 Always Red. It also included a NARS Velvet Matte lip pencil in Cruella, a Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow, a Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme, a Nudestix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm in Posh, a Natasha Denona eyeshadow in Outer Eye Lid (from the Glam palette), a Make Up For Ever Aquaresist Graphic Pen in 1 Black, a Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes mascara, and an Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel.
