Striking colour combo

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You know how much I love a blue eye look, and there’s something very striking about a blue eye look paired with a bright pink lip.

Collective indie make-up haul (January 2024)

I have a collective indie make-up haul to share with you today. I just love indie make-up, especially eyeshadow palettes.

Ensley Reign Cosmetics recently released an updated version of the Strawberry Moon palette, but I purchased mine back in January, so I’ve got the original version. I can’t believe I haven’t created a look with this palette yet, because the colour story is so bright and beautiful.

This is the Fantasy Cosmetica Rogue palette, which had been on my wishlist for a while. This colour story is right up my street, and I did create a look with this, which will be up on the blog soon.

I love the Blend Bunny Cosmetics eyeshadows, but I was unsure whether to buy the Machina palette or not. However, I’m so glad that I decided to buy it, because the colour story is actually really fun and quite unique. I wore the palette on my eyes here.

This is the first palette I’ve bought from Shroud Cosmetics. Sadly, the blue shimmer shade was broken, when I received the palette, but I managed to sort of press it back into the palette. I wore this palette earlier this week, and I thought the look turned out really pretty.

This is the Simply Posh Cosmetics Fairytale Fairies palette, which is the palette I used to create my eye look in yesterday’s make-up post. I really want to try out more palettes from this brand.

I wore the September Rose Cosmetics Still Pretty palette during my Valentine’s Day inspired week of looks for very obvious reasons. I wore it here.

These last three palettes are all from Jolie Beauty, and I purchased them 20% off from the Jolie Beauty website. I love the colour stories of all three palettes; I wearing the Sorceress palette in my eyes here.

From Jolie Beauty I also got the Holographic lip gloss in As Above and the Air Matte liquid lipstick in Unicorn.

5 favourites – April

I can’t believe that a third of the year has already past and that we’re heading into the last month of spring. We’re finally getting slightly warmer weather in Denmark, and I need a pick-me-up, and sunny, warm weather is a good one at that. I didn’t have that many favourites this past month, but here are some of them.

Red tights: I love colourful tights in general, but red is the colour of tights I’ve worn the most lately. They just add a fun pop of colour to an outfit.

Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light): I actually purchased this product almost a year ago, and I’ve liked it from the beginning, but for some reason I’ve been using it so much this past month. I guess I like the brightening effect and the nice, cooling feeling on the under eye area when you apply it.

Fenty Beauty We’re Even hydrating longwear concealer (shade: 120N): As you can see, I have two concealer favourites this month. This one I purchased earlier this month, so I haven’t hauled it yet, but I’ve really enjoyed using it. I think it blends out beautifully, and a little product goes a long way.

Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liners: I think lip liners used to be underrated in the make-up world, but people have finally figured out how important they are. I love a lot of different brands, when it comes to lip liners, but one of my top favourites is Anastasia Beverly Hills, and as you can see I have a lot of ABH lip liners.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Squeeze Me lip balm in Vanilla Frosting: I wear lipstick or the like most of the time, but when I don’t I like to wear lip balm, and I’ve been loving this little squeezy number from e.l.f. Cosmetics. It really does smell like vanilla frosting, and it smells so good.
