Here’s what I wore Friday May 9. I took my daughter to work with me that day, so I needed to wear something comfortable, so it was easier to keep an eye on her (she’s a toddler) while teaching at the same time.
I have an indie make-up haul to share with you. I made my first order ever from Nomad Cosmetics, and I also picked up some things from Arttitude Cosmetics, Oden’s Eye, and from the German website Purish.
I’d been wanting to try out Nomad Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes for so long, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that I discovered that they have a European warehouse (as far as I understand) that ships to Europe. So I purchased four palettes. The Chamonix Après-Ski intense color palette was new at the time, and it was the palette that made me look into shipping details. The packaging of this palette, and of Nomad Cosmetics palettes in general, is beautiful, and the colour story is right up my alley. I used the palette here.
I’m pretty sure that the Fuji Five Lakes intense color palette launched last year, and I remember thinking that it looked stunning. The packaging on this palette is next level, and the colour story is so fun and different, and I’ve created some beautiful looks with it (for example this one).
I mainly purchased the Haunted Europe intense color palette, because it’s Europe themed and I’d heard many beauty creators talk about how much they enjoyed this palette. It’s a very autumnal palette, and I created this yummy look with it.
The last Nomad Cosmetics palette I picked up was the Monteverde Cloud Forest intense color palette, which I got on sale, and it’s still on sale (Nomad Cosmetics also has a 20% off site wide sale going on right now). This palette is just so fun and colourful, and I’ve used it several times. I created this eye look with it.
I made an order from Arttitude Cosmetics when they had 20% off a lot of products back in February. However, I don’t think I’ll make an order from their website again, because I had to pay some extra fees that I wasn’t expecting. I’d rather wait for Monolith to stock their releases then. Anyways, I did pick up three palettes at the time the Abscission palette being the first one. I’d been wanting this palette for a long time, and so far it hasn’t disappointed. I wore it here, and I loved the look.
I’d also had the Metamorph palette on my wishlist, and this colour story is just so beautiful. I loved this look that I created with this palette. So colourful and fun!
The last Arttitude Cosmetics palette I got was the Vintage Neutrals. I don’t know if I would call these neutrals, but I think it’s a really pretty colour story that you can create lots of different looks with. I created this look with it.
The only thing I purchased from Oden’s Eye was the Oden’s Eye x Morgan Turner Love Language palette. I love purples and pinks, and this was a lovely Valentine’s Day release. I wore it here.
From the Purish website I picked these three items. Lethal Cosmetics added the Avatar the Last Airbender Yue glitter gel to the Avatar the Last Airbender collection later on, so I picked that up. And my original Lethal Cosmetics Avatar the Last Airbender White Lotus highlighter arrived broken, so I decided to get a new and hopefully intact one, and I was happy to see that it was in fact intact. And lastly, I picked up the Lethal Cosmetics Dexter Luminol liquid highlighter, because I thought it look so pretty. All of these Lethal Cosmetics products were on sale.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the Ensley Reign Cosmetics Glow palette on my eyes, and I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the palette. Ensley Reign Cosmetics usually have very pigmented and intense eyeshadows, but these were not. I know that they’re pastels, but I’ve tried many pastel eyeshadows that were a lot more pigmented and impactful.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is not a kind of make-up look I wear very often. I think it gives off Christmas vibes, but I am wearing a Christmas themed eyeshadow palette, so it makes sense.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday May 6. I really wanted to style this navy vintage set again, and I think the addition of the big straw hat makes the look extra fun.
(Hat – H&M, blouse + skirt – vintage, belt + shoes – Asos Design, tights – Calzedonia)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This super dark purple lip is so fun, and I love how is looks paired with the more iridescent, lavender eye look.

Here’s what I wore Monday May 5. I’d worn these rhinestone jeans for a dinner and drinks situation and on a lunch date, but this is how I’ve styled them for work.
I have a small-ish collective shoes and clothes haul to share with you today. I either got these items on sale or second hand.
I think we have established by now that I like Jeffrey Campbell shoes, and I got these blue kitten heel boots for a very good price. I haven’t worn them yet, but I can’t wait to wear them during autumn and winter.
I usually don’t like cropped things, but this second hand zebra print jacket was really fun, and I liked how it looked with this outfit.
I paid next to nothing for these second hand trousers, and they fit my perfectly.
I love a matching set, and I think this second hand skirt set is really fun. I wore it here.
The next two pieces are from a brand called YAS that I really like. I bought them at a physical store, and there was one pair of these rhinestone jeans left, and they were in my size. I wore them here.
This navy jumper is pretty simple, but it still has some nice details.
Lastly, I got this silver glitter cardigan from the brand Saint Tropez. I wore this on a lunch date paired with the rhinestone jeans.
