I’ve collected a few random pieces of clothing and accessories over the past month, and I thought I would put them into one collective haul.
First off, I’ve found this beautiful chinese jacket at a second hand store. The lime green colour is stunning, and it fits me perfectly.
I also found this floral dress at a second hand store. I thought it was a really fun piece, and I love the pink and blue colour combo.
I’ve also added another beret to my collection. This time a blue one.
I don’t go into Flying Tiger very often, but when I recently did, I found these cute bug pins. I obviously love the bright colours, and I think they’ll look really cute on a denim jacket.
Lastly, I’ve purchased a pair of pink suede sandals at my local supermarket. I wore them today for the first time, and I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of them this summer.
Here’s what I wore Wednesday May 15. I love a fun and colourful outfit, and this outfit is definitely fun and colourful.
(Trousers – Asos, mesh top + socks – Monki, T-shirt + sneakers – Bershka)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien palette on my eyes, and I love the pop of green that ties in perfectly with my shirt and earring.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday May 14. I really wanted to wear the tulip shirt, so I just started to throw things on, and this is the outfit I ended up with. I love these kinds of ‘random’ outfits; they usually always turn out fun.
(Blazer + skirt + shirt + belt – second hand, boots – Asos)
The last official month of spring is over by tomorrow, and summer is officially here (hopefully the summer weather will arrive as well). It feels like May went by so fast, and I really can’t believe that it’s already June; a busy month for many teachers out there (myself included). But let’s not talk about that now. Let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of May.
Navy quilted jacket: I’d been on the hunt for a great spring jacket, and I definitely found it in this one from Monki. I’ve worn it almost everyday throughout May, and as long as the weather is not getting much warmer, I’ll continue to wear it.
Zebra print jeans: I’ve been absolutely loving these zebra print jeans from Asos. They’re the perfect pair of statement trousers, and I’ve worn both at work and on a night out.
MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow): This product has actually been a favourite since December, when I started using a sample size of it. I loved it so much that I had to buy the full size (even though it’s quite expensive), and I wear it most days mixed with my Wet n Wild Coverall primer. It just gives the skin such a pretty, natural glow.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blue Blood palette: This one probably doesn’t come as a surprise. I’ve been obsessed with blue eyeshadow these past couple of months, and this palette is all you need to create beautiful blue eyeshadow looks.
Aladdin (film): As the huge Disney fan that I am, I was very excited to watch the live action version of Aladdin. There might have been some controversy regarding this film, but I loved it! The colours and scenery was stunning, the actors were great, and the music was beautiful.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I took a little break from the blue and green eye looks, but don’t you worry, they’ll be back:) This glittery neutral eye look is really pretty too though.

Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Jeffree Star Thirsty palette (shades: Parched + Subtle + Drizzle + Snatched) + MAC Nylon eye shadow, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows – e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: MAC Redd lip pencil + MAC Vermillion Vee lipstick)
Here’s what I wore Thursday May 9. I’m still absolutely loving these denim overalls. Without the scarf and with some different shoes, this outfit would be super casual, but I love that it has some dressier elements as well.
(Overalls + boots – Monki, jumper + scarf – second hand)
