The last day of summer

Here’s what I wore Saturday night August 31. It was not only the last day of summer calendar wise, it was also the last day of summer weather in Denmark. The next day (September 1) was rainy and grey and felt very autumnal.

I’m so excited about dressing up for autumn, so I’ve bought some new autumnal pieces from H&M.

I love this style of fitted thin roll neck top from H&M. I have a black one and a leopard print one that I’ve worn so much, so I was really excited to find these gorgeous printed ones from the Richard Allan x H&M collection. The prints are inspired by retro scarf prints, and I love it!

And if three new roll necks weren’t enough, I also purchased these two animal print ones. These are just the best layering pieces for autumn and winter.

This sweatshirt isn’t particularly autumnal, but it’s definitely cosy, and I love the colours.

Beige fløjlsblazer - H&M

This might be the perfect corduroy blazer. The fit is great and the colour is delicious. I can’t wait to style this in all kinds of different ways.

Kamel + vinrøde strømpebukser

It’s season for tights again, and I would like to add some more colourful tights to my wardrobe starting with these autumnal ones.

Navy baker boy hat - H&M Gråternet beret - H&M

It’s also hat season again, which I’m very excited about. My two preferred styles of hats for autumn and winter are baker boys and berets, so I added these two to my hat collection.

Summery print mixing

Here’s what I wore Monday August 26. Is was a hot day as you can guess by the outfit. I actually find it quite difficult to dress for summer, because you want to wear as little clothes as possible in the heat. That’s why I think print mixing is a great way to make a summer outfit more interesting.

Another big Monki haul

The Monki outlet was so good that I had to purchase more great items.

Lilla fløjsoveralls - Monki

As I wrote in my last big Monki haul, my love for overalls continues to grow. These ones were not a part of the outlet on the website, but I had to have them. They’re not just overalls; they’re purple corduroy overalls. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Grøn ternet buksedragt m. knapper og bindebånd - Monki

I’ve never been much of a jumpsuit person, but I really liked the look of this one. The colours and pattern are awesome, and I love the button down top and the wide leg bottom. It’s a great piece to throw on when you don’t know what to wear.

These jeans were not in the outlet either, but I just really wanted them. They’re cropped, wide leg style, and I love the checked pattern. I’m always up for a pair of unique jeans.

I found these two pairs of pinstriped trousers in the outlet section. The navy ones are a culotte style trouser, and the white ones are long and wide legged. I’m really excited about styling both pairs.

I’m obsessed with ’70s fashion (as you might have noticed), and this T-shirt screams ’70s. I love the brown rainbow and the retro font.

Navy strikvest m. røde kirsebær og hvid kanter - Monki

This is another pieces which wasn’t in the outlet, but how adorable is the little sweater waistcoat. I love the colours and the cherry print. So cute!

Beige ternet bæltetaske - Monki

I thought this belt bag would be great for autumn due to the check print and the neutral colour scheme.

Monki strømper

I love cute socks. I think that they add such a great little detail to an outfit, so I bought these three pairs, which I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of.
