I have a rather large Colourpop haul to share with you today including the Twilight collection, the Lost in Love Valentine’s collection and more.
It’s been a while since I’ve waited in line to buy limited edition make-up online, but even so I was lucky enough to get the items I wanted from the Colourpop x Twilight collection at the original launch in January. I loved Twilight as a teenager, both the books and the films, so the collection is very nostalgic to me. I picked up the palette, the two Super Shock highlighters, and the three Lux lip oils.
This is what the Twilight palette looks like. After I had bought this collection I rewatched all of the films, and I think the colour story of the palette captures the colours of the first film so well.
I love Super Shock highlighters, so I really wanted to get my hands on these. They’re in the shades Vampire Skin and Meadow.
I purchased the Lux lip oils as a set. The set includes the shades Bells, Team Edward, and Team Jacob.
I picked up a lot of items from the Lost in Love collection, which was this year’s Valentine’s Day collection from Colourpop. I got the palette, the three Jelly Much shadows, the three lip & cheek balms, and one of the Ultra Glossy lips.
I love the Flirty Talk palette from last year’s Valentine’s Day collection, and I think I still prefer that one over the Lost in Love palette, however, this palette is really pretty as well. I’m wearing the palette and a couple of other products from this collection here.
I really enjoy the Jelly Much shadows in general, and these three shades are some of my new favourites. They’re called 4ever Valentine, All Love, and Moon & Stars.
The heart-shaped compacts from Colourpop are so cute, and I love that they did them with a new formula for this collection. They’re called the lip & cheek balms (I’ve only worn them on my cheeks though), and the shades are called Heart’s Content, Adore You, and Cutesy Wootsy. So far I really like this formula.
I believe this is my first time trying the Ultra Glossy lip formula. I just picked up the red shade called Lover Era, and it was very pretty.
Okay, I caved and purchased another mystery box. This was called the Secret Stash Mystery Box, and as you can see, it was a smaller box, which included four eyeshadow palettes and a F23 brush. I didn’t own any of these items beforehand, so I’m pretty pleased with this mystery box.
Here’s a closer look at the palettes; Lush Life, Colour Vision, Cashmere Forever, and She’s a Natural. I was most excited to get the Lush Life palette, which has really pretty packaging and a nice colour story.
Sticking with palettes, I decided to add two more monochromatic 9-pan palettes to my collection; the Wine & Only palette and the Mint To Be palette. Both are really pretty and good quality.
I love the Créme gel liners, so I was very intrigued to try out the multi-chrome version. I got this set including the shades Power Trip, Ventura Blvd, and Actin’ Up. These are very good multi-chrome eye liners.
Here’s a little random selection of sale items I picked up. I got the Extra Glazed palette, which is a very nice little blush and highlighter palette. I also picked up two blue Super Shock eyeshadows; Lap Dog and Eyeing You (Haunted House collection). And I also wanted to try the Ultra Blotted lip formula and got this pretty muted red shade called Keep It Classy.
The very last two products I purchased were the Super Shock highlighter in Stole the Show and the Glowing lip in Status. I can’t believe I didn’t already own the Stole the Show Super Shock highlighter, because it’s so stunning. And I did already own the Glowing lip in Status, but mine had never smelled good, so I picked up a new one (luckily is was on sale), because I love the colour.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’ve had the GlossGods Cosmetics New Neutrals remixed palette for about a year, and I finally got around to creating an eye look with it. I really enjoy the GlossGods Cosmetics eyeshadow formulas and especially their shimmers.

I have a collective haul from January to share with you today. Everything is beauty products apart from one pair of earrings.
This is the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork V I Am palette. It’s the first of the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork palettes that I’ve purchased, because they’re really expensive, but this one just looks so beautiful, and I got it on sale. I actually haven’t used it yet, but I’m planning on doing so on Saturday, when I’m attending a wedding.
Here’s the rest of the products I purchased at the same time as the Danessa Myricks Beauty palette. I picked up the e.l.f. Cosmetics Glow Reviver lip oil in Rose Envy, the e.l.f. Cosmetics Camo liquid blush in Comin’ In Hot Pink, and the Nimya by NikkieTutorials Cheeky Flush cream blush in Hey Carl!. Both blushes are super pigmented.
These are the first Buxom products I’ve ever bought. I found them on sale and thought I would give the brand a try.
This is the Xtrovert eye palette. I has a pretty unique colour story, and the quality was actually quite good.
This is the White Russian collection Wanderlust Glow highlighter. I’ve worn it once so far, and to be honest, I don’t remember how I felt about.
And lastly from Buxom, I got two of the Full Force Plumping lipsticks. They’re in the shades Badass and Dreamboat. I haven’t worn these yet, so I don’t know how plumping they are.
I picked up this Clarins Joli Rouge lip lacquer in 761 Spicy Chili at the same time as the Buxom products. The colour looks so pretty, and I like the packaging too.
I usually purchase a lot of the limited edition collections from Essence, but I’m trying to get better at not buying pretty much the whole collection, and instead only picking up the products I’m really interested in. So from the Love, Luck & Dragons collection I got the two lipsticks in 01 Energy Level: Dragon-like and 02 Dragons Dream in Red, and I also got the lip & cheek tint in 01 Wild, But Cute, But Wild. I only bought one product from the Chilly Vanilly collection and it’s the face & body highlighter stick in 01 Glow With The Flow!.
These are the last beauty products in the haul. I bought a back-up of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze and a Burt’s Bees mini Orange Blossom & Pistachio hand cream. I’ve been using the hand cream lately, and it feels nice on the hands, but I think the scent is maybe a little too strong.
I love Maanesten jewellery, and I picked up the Nubia color earrings on sale. They’re just the prettiest little hoops.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You know how much I love a blue eye look, and there’s something very striking about a blue eye look paired with a bright pink lip.

I have a collective indie make-up haul to share with you today. I just love indie make-up, especially eyeshadow palettes.
Ensley Reign Cosmetics recently released an updated version of the Strawberry Moon palette, but I purchased mine back in January, so I’ve got the original version. I can’t believe I haven’t created a look with this palette yet, because the colour story is so bright and beautiful.
This is the Fantasy Cosmetica Rogue palette, which had been on my wishlist for a while. This colour story is right up my street, and I did create a look with this, which will be up on the blog soon.
I love the Blend Bunny Cosmetics eyeshadows, but I was unsure whether to buy the Machina palette or not. However, I’m so glad that I decided to buy it, because the colour story is actually really fun and quite unique. I wore the palette on my eyes here.
This is the first palette I’ve bought from Shroud Cosmetics. Sadly, the blue shimmer shade was broken, when I received the palette, but I managed to sort of press it back into the palette. I wore this palette earlier this week, and I thought the look turned out really pretty.
This is the Simply Posh Cosmetics Fairytale Fairies palette, which is the palette I used to create my eye look in yesterday’s make-up post. I really want to try out more palettes from this brand.
I wore the September Rose Cosmetics Still Pretty palette during my Valentine’s Day inspired week of looks for very obvious reasons. I wore it here.
These last three palettes are all from Jolie Beauty, and I purchased them 20% off from the Jolie Beauty website. I love the colour stories of all three palettes; I wearing the Sorceress palette in my eyes here.
From Jolie Beauty I also got the Holographic lip gloss in As Above and the Air Matte liquid lipstick in Unicorn.
