Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Even though I tend to wear darker make-up looks more often in autumn, I still wear a bright, colourful look every now and again. I just love bright colours too much not to wear them all year round.

Happy Halloween! Can you believe that it’s the last day of October?! A lot of things have happened in the past month, or actually the past couple of months, one thing being that we bought a house, and we’re getting the keys later on today! I can’t believe that the day is finally here. November will be all about getting the house ready and moving in, so my family will definitely be busy the next month or two. But before getting too busy, let’s talk about some of my favourite things from the month of October.
Denim Nike Cortez sneakers: These blue denim Nike Cortez sneakers has without a doubt been my most worn pair of shoes this past month. They just go with pretty much everything.
Catrice Drunk’n Diamonds eyeshadow sticks: I haven’t hauled these eyeshadow sticks yet, but I wore them here, and I loved them! As I wrote in the make-up post, they’re some of the best eyeshadow sticks I’ve ever tried! I wish Catrice would extend the shade range (they do have one more shade that I’ve also purchased), because I would buy them all.
L’Oréal Panorama volume million lashes mascara (shade: Black): It’s been a while since the last time I tried a new black mascara that I like as much as this one. The wand works for me, it looks great on the lashes, and it doesn’t transfer onto my eyelids.
Beverly Hills 90210 – season 1 (TV series): I know, how have I not watched Beverly Hills 90210 until now? I don’t have an answer to that but I finally decided to start watching the series this month, and I loved the first season. I’ve only watched a few episodes of season 2, so that’s why I’m only featuring season 1 here (for now).
The Pumpkin Spice Café – Laurie Gilmore (book): I have yet another book favourite this month, and this was the last book I finished in October. If you like the small town vibes of Gilmore Girls with a few more steamy interactions, this is for you.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. When the weather gets colder and more autumnal, I automatically want to wear darker make-up looks more often.

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I don’t think I have any other lip product in my extensive lip product collection that is this kind of green-grey colour. It’s a really fun and unique shade.

I have an indie make-up haul to share with you today. It includes an order I made from Oden’s Eye and an order or two, I think, I made from Monolith. Let’s begin with Oden’s Eye.
Back in the summer, Oden’s Eye released four eyeshadow palettes, each representing a season. This first one is the Spring Älva palette. This is not my favourite colour story of the four, but I do think this look that I created with it came out very pretty.
The Summer Älva palette has such a pretty colour story, but it’s not what I would’ve expected from a summer colour story. However, that’s what makes this collection so fun; all the colour stories are a bit different than what you might have expected. I wore this palette here.
The Autumn Älva palette is probably the palette that fits its season the best based on the colour story. The look that I created with it definitely felt very autumnal.
The last palette in this collection is of course the Winter Älva palette, and I can see winter in this one with all the cool-toned and dark shades, but I think the pops of the lighter and slightly warmer shades is a fun addition to the colour story. I did this pretty look with the palette.
Let’s move on to the palettes I got full price from Monolith. I also picked up a bunch of products in their summer sale. This first palette was new at the time, and it’s the Arttitude Cosmetics Arcana palette. I was a bit hesitant when it came to purchasing this palette, because it almost looks like the palette has a grey filter over it, but I was pleasantly surprised by this teal look I created with the palette.
You know neutrals are not my favourites, however, I do like a neutral palette with a twist, and I think the Gourmande Girls Mocha Moment palette is just that. It has greens and more purple leaning shades, but the first look I did with it was actually with the more straigt up neutrals and the golds, and I thought the look turned out lovely.
This is the Glaminatrix Cosmetics April Fool’s palette that became a reality. The April Fool’s palette was called Tones of Turd, and they also sell this exact colour story in a palette called Tones of Turd. The shades then have turd related names. I didn’t feel like putting turd named shadows on my eyelids, so I got the Grounded palette instead. The colour story really is stunning and very autumnal, and I created this look with it.
Now, let’s move on to the products I got in the Monolith summer sale. I got another Glaminatrix palette, the Nearly Natural palette, which is another neutral palette with a twist, though it’s more neutral than the Gourmande Girls Mocha Moment palette. I did this rosy-toned eye look with this palette.
I think this is the last neutral palette in this haul. Even though the Twilight Saga is very nostalgic to me, I didn’t pick up anything from the Glamlite Twilight Breaking Dawn part 1 collection when it launched. However, I’d heard that the Team Jacob palette had really good quality, so I decided to pick it up in the summer sale. I wore it here.
The Vintage Rose palette is an older palette from Give Me Glow Cosmetics, but they recently made several of their palettes in a smaller format, which I like, because their palettes used to be huge. This is a very pretty and romantic colour story, and I wore it on my birthday this year.
I really liked the Glowing Iris quad from Kaleidos, so I decided to pick up the Twilight Rush quad in the sale. I actually still haven’t worn this palette yet, but I can imagine that you can create a really pretty, smokey look with it.
I’d been considering buying the It’s Bel Cosmetics Tropical Nights palette and Tropical Night blush & highlighter palette many times before, so I finally picked them up in the summer sale. They’re created in collaboration with Bri C Beauty, and both palettes are really fun and colourful. I wore both palettes in this look.
The last few things in this haul are highlighters and a lipstick. Another product that I’d been wanting to pick up for so long is the Unearthly Cosmetics Dreamer Low Light highlighter trio. I thought the shades might be a little deep on me, but so far so good.
I also bought another Low Light highlighter from Unearthly Cosmetics. This one is made in collaboration with Xander and it’s called Ooze. It’s a really pretty green shifty highlighter.
Lastly, I got a lipstick from the Wicked Widow Beauty American Psycho collection. It’s in the shade Murder, and it’s described as a shimmer lipstick. Sadly, it’s not that shimmery on the lips.
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The colour scheme of my outfit was halloweeny, and my make-up look definitely had intentional Halloween vibes. I did use the Nomad Cosmetics Witch City Salem intense color palette and one of the Witch City Salem Spellbinding lipsticks in this look afterall.

Cosmetics Camo Hydrating CC Cream (shade: Fair 120N), concealers – Rare Beauty Positive Light under eye brightener (shade: Light) + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Instant Brightening + Blurring powder (shade: Lavender 01) + e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow setting powder in Light. Face make-up: bronzer – Huda Beauty Glowish Soft Radiance bronzing powder in 1 Light, blush – Adept Cosmetics Duality blush palette (shade: Orange Pearl), highlighter – MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Soft Frost. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 20 Cream + Nomad Cosmetics Witch City Salem intense color palette (shades: Haunted Happenings + Salem Commons + Ropes Mansion + Gallows Hill + Harvest Moon + Witching Hour), mascara – Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (shade: Plum Twilight), eyeliner – Essence Longlasting eye pencil in 39 Shimmer Sunsation. Eyebrows: NYX Lift & Snatch! Brow Tint Pen in Ash Brown + e.l.f. Cosmetics Brow Lift. Lips: MAC Night Crawler lip pencil + Nomad Cosmetics Witch City Salem Spellbinding lipstick in Hocus Pocus)
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s not often that I wear a rosy-toned make-up look, but I think this look turned out really pretty. I like the addition of green on the lower lash line too.
(Base: primer – Essence Hello, Good Stuff! glow serum primer, foundation – R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener foundation (shade: Fair 6 CN), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + e.l.f. This is the last part of my collective haul from June and July 2025. It consists of all the beauty bits I picked up during those months that aren’t included in other beauty hauls.
I’d heard good things about the Morphe Wakeup Artist under eye correcting concealer. I picked it up in the shade Ivory 3N, and I do like it, however, it hasn’t become one of my absolute go-tos. Maybe because the shade is a tad light.
These are two products I really wanted to try. The Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick in 015 Cherry is a very pretty stick blush. I love the colour. And I already have a couple of shades of the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix shimmers, but I really wanted the shade Icy Amethy$t 04, and it’s beautiful.
Fenty Beauty often makes fun limited edition collections, and how cute are these Smurf products? I picked up the Fenty Beauty Fenty Icon Velvet liquid lipstick in Smurf’Melon, which is a formula I’ve never tried, but I’ve always wanted to, and I also got the Fenty Beauty Smurfette Smooches lip essentials duo & keychain, which came with a Fenty Treatz lip oil in Smurfberry and Gloss Bomb Universal lip luminizer in Smurfette Effect.
I’d been missing a true lime green eyeliner in my collection, so I bought the e.l.f. Cosmetics Smoky Eye-Con kohl eyeliner in Limelight. I also got the NYX Lift & Snatch! Brow tint pen in Ash Brown, which has been my go-to eye pen lately.
I almost never buy anything from NARS, but I’d been intrigued by these limited edition face palettes before, so this summer I decided to finally get one. This is the NARS Hot Escape cheek palette I, which includes two blushes, a highlighter, and a bronzer. I’ve used it a couple of times, and I do like it.
Another little face palette that I picked up is the Makeup Revolution Blush Icon palette in My Cherry Truth. These are very pigmented, so keep that in mind.
Let’s move on to some products from NABLA, which have been on my wishlist for so long. First up, we got the NABLA Close-Up blurring powder blush in Endorphin. Red is my favourite blush colour, so I had to get this shade, and it’s really pretty on the cheeks.
I also got two of the NABLA Beyond Jelly lipsticks (shades: Red Sapphire and Nocturna) and a NABLA Lip Candy Oil in Honey.
I have a few more lip products left. These are the 3ina The Color Lip Oil in 137 Yellow and 244 Red. I really enjoy 3ina lip products.
And lastly, I picked up this Burt’s Bees Bee Mine lip balm set, because you can never have too many lip balms.
