MAC Cruella collection

I LOVE Disney, and I’m really excited to watch Cruella some day. I also love MAC, so of course I had to pick up some pieces from the MAC Cruella collection. And quite a lot of pieces as you can see.

I don’t pick up eyeshadow palettes from MAC collections very often, but the design of this palette was just so fun and different. It’s called the Eyeshadow x8 palette: Cruella To Be Kind, and it has four matte shades and four shimmery shades.

For eyes I also got the Dual-Ended Pro Longwear eyeliner in De-Vinyl/Tightly Laced. Of course it’s a black and a white eyeliner.

I very often buy compacts from LE MAC collections, and I had to have the one from the Cruella collection. This is the powder blush duo in Cruel-la Intensions (shades: Tickled Punk/Cruel-la Intensions), which contains a blush and a highlighter.

These are my first Retro Matte liquid lip colours from MAC, and the shades are called Queen of Mean and Mayhemmed. So far I’ve only worn Mayhemmed (the red one), and I really like it.

If there’s one thing that I collect from MAC it’s their lipsticks. I got all three shades from this collection. They are all matte, and the red is called De Vil In The Details, the peachy-pinky nude is called Sweet-N-Vicious, and the dark one is called Camden Caper. The Sweet-N-Vicious lipstick is the product from the collection I’ve worn the most so far. It’s such a pretty shade; the perfect summer nude.

All matte blue

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really like this all matte (apart from the inner corner highlight) blue eye look. And I think it looks stunning paired with that glossy peachy nude lip.

More pigmented pastels

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is the second look I created with the Huda Beauty Pastel Obsessions palette in Rose, and the shades I used this time around were a little more pigmented as you can see, however still subtle.

Neutral glittery eyes

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s not often that I wear neutral glittery eye make-up, but I actually think it looks very pretty. Especially when paired with a red lip.

Poreless Putty Primer, foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + Essence Camouflage+ Healthy Glow concealer in 10 Light Ivory, powder – Fenty Beauty Pro Filt´r Instant Retouch setting powder in Butter. Revolution x Friends pt. 3

It’s time for my Revolution x Friends part 3 haul.

I had to get all three of the boys’ eyeshadow palettes to complete my collection (I also have all three of the girls’ eyeshadow palettes).

The Ross palette is an all neutral palette, and the most boring in my opinion. However, I have created a pretty look with it.

The Joey palette is my favourite! This palette has the best quality and the most fun colour scheme, and I’ve used this one a lot more than I’ve used the other 9 pan palettes including the girls’ palettes.

The Chandler palette is my second favourite. This one has a beautiful colour scheme as well, and the shimmers are pretty.

I also picked up all three mini fixing sprays. The Rachel one is an energising fixing spray that smells of strawberry (it’s the only one I’ve used so far). The Monica one is a calming fixing spray that smells of pineapple. And the Phoebe one is a brightening fixing spray that smells of citrus.

I only picked up the Monica lip kit. These shades of lipglosses and lip liner where the ones that spoke to me the most. I haven’t worn the dark lipgloss yet, but the lighter one is very nice.

Last, but not least, I picked up the blending sponges and the Joey lipstick. I love that they did the lipstick for men, which is actually a lip balm. The lip balm feels very nice on the lips, but keep in mind that it does have a blue tint to it.

My little copper

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the Essence My Little Copper eyeshadow palette, and it’s one of the best Essence eyeshadow formulas I’ve tried. Just look how pretty and pigmented those shadows are!

(Base: primer – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive primer, foundation – Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation (shade: 005 Ivory Beige), concealers – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory) + Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive concealer (shade: 05 Fair), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive mineral powder (shade: 01 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – MAC Radiant Matte bronzing powder (shade: Beige-ing Beauty), blushers – NYX Sweet Cheeks matte creamy powder blush in Summer Breeze + Revlon SkinLights Prismatic highlighter in 202 Twilight Gleam (as blush topper), highlighter – Essence My Little Platinum highlighter palette (shade: Gold & Royal). Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence My Little Copper eyeshadow palette (shades: Wear The Crown + Ruby Lover + Princess Mood + Royal Jewel + Gold & Fabulous + Insta-Rich), mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extactic mascara in 01 Sandalwood Wonder, eyeliner – MAC Studio Chromagraphic pencil in NC15/NW20. Eyebrows: Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown + MAC Brow Set in Clear. Lips: Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear lipstick in Caramel Apple)

Subtle and sheer

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the Huda Beauty Pastel Obsessions palette in Rose for the first time, and as you can see the shades are very subtle and sheer. The shimmers are not opaque, but more like topper shades. They are pretty nonetheless, but I had hoped for a little more opacity and pigment in the shadows.

(Base: primer – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive primer, foundation – Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation (shade: 110 Porcelain), concealer – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive concealer (shade: 05 Fair), powder – Essence Skin Lovin’ Sensitive mineral powder (shade: 01 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder (shade: 02 fair matte), blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – Soda #babygethigher Pressed Highlighter in 102. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Huda Beauty Pastel Obsessions palette in Rose (shades: 1.,2. & 3. shade 1. row + 3. shade 2. row + 2. shade 3. row), mascaras – Essence Volume Booster lash primer + Fenty Beauty Full Frontal – Volume, Lift & Curl mascara, eyeliner – NYX Faux Whites eyeliner in Lavender Blush. Eyebrows: Soda #wowbrow Flat Brow Liner in Kim + MAC Brow Set in Clear. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour liquid lipstick in Can’t Relate + Soda #wegotyoubabe Glitter lipgloss in Diamond Sugar)

MAC 25% off spring sale haul

MAC had a 25% off spring sale, so I decided to order a handful of products. I also got a free gift with purchase that I thought I would include in this haul.

I love the Glow Play blushes, so I picked up another shade. This is a peachy pink shade called Cheer Up. I also picked up a couple of products from limited edition collections. I got the Harris Reed eye kohl in Powersurge, which is a bronze shade, and I also got the Prep + Prime Lip from the Black Cherry collection as a back-up. I also got a back-up of the Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly.

From the 2020 holiday collection I got the Flash Drops Trio, which I’d actually tried to purchase before, but it was sold out at that point, but then it came back, so I purchased it again. They are shimmery liquid highlighters, and the shades are very pretty.

The free gift I received contains a Powder Kiss lipstick in Teddy 2.0 (full size), an eye pencil in Coffee (full size), a Powder Kiss liquid lipstick sample, a Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base in Radiance Pink sample, a Fix + deluxe sample, a Cleanse Off Oil sample, and a mini make-up bag. I’m the most excited by the two full size products to be honest, but all in all it was a very nice free gift.

First time trying ABH shadows

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It was my first time wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows, and so far I really like the formulas of both the matte and the shimmer shadows.

Poreless Putty Primer, foundation – Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation (shade: 005 Ivory Beige), concealer – L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Rimmel Clear Complexion Clarifying powder in 021 Transparent. Face make-up: bronzer – Ofra Cosmetics x Samantha March River bronzer duo, blusher – BH Cosmetics Flower Power blush palette (shade: Psychedelic), highlighter – Catrice More Than Glow highlighter in 010 Ultimate Platinum Glaze.
