The Christmas outfit to beat

Here’s what I wore Saturday November 30. I went to my grandfather’s annual Christmas party/get-together, and I love how fun and Christmassy this look is. So far, this is the Christmas outfit to beat.

(Cardigan – PULL&BEAR, T-shirt + tights + heels – Asos Design, skirt/kilt – second hand, bag – Topshop)

Classroom decorating

Here’s what I wore Friday November 29. This was the first of my very Christmassy outfits. All the students at the school where I teach were to decorate their classrooms that day, so obviously I had to dress up very Christmassy.

A few years

Here’s what I wore Thursday November 28. I think it’s been a few years since the last time I wore this knitted dress, but I think the outfit turned out pretty cute.

Monki sale haul + 20% extra off (July 2024)

I have a Monki sale haul to share with you today. It’s all clothes, but a mix of dresses, tops, and bottoms. Let’s begin with dresses.

I picked up these four dresses; two purple ones and two pink ones. I’ve worn the indigo button up dress and the pink one with the heart print, and I really like both. The other two are more fitted, which is usually not my thing when it comes to dresses, but I thought I would give them a go.

This kind of mesh top is usually not my thing either, but I think it’ll look nice over the matching rose printed slip dress.

I’ve worn both of these green shirts, and I really like both. The floral long sleeve shirt is sheer, but not too sheer, and it’s a great layering piece.

I have quite a few T-shirts from Monki, and I’ve added another two to my wardrobe.

I already had the blazer that goes with these trousers, so I had to complete the suit.

Lastly, I got another pair of capri trousers, which were all the rage this past summer. I do think these leopard print ones are really fun though.

Different colours every once in a while

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. And speaking of traditional Christmas colours, as much as I love wearing red, green, gold and so on during Christmas time, I also enjoy wearing completely different colours every once in a while during this time.
