Wintery blue and brown

Here’s what I wore Thursday November 16. As I wrote in my last outfit post, I’ll be skipping my October and first half of November outfits for now, and instead I’ll be posting my wintery/Christmassy outfits. I really like this blue and brown wintery look.

Indie make-up haul (Monolith + Purish)

I have an indie make-up haul to share with you today. These are products that I purchased from Monolith and Purish.

Let’s begin with Glamlite. This is my first time trying out Glamlite eyeshadows and I picked up three palettes. I got the Frosted Flakes palette, because the colour story is right up my street. Sadly, the shimmers did crease a bit on me. I’m wearing the palette here.

I also picked up the Glamlite x Scooby-Doo! palettes; The Creeps and Crawls palette and the Ruh Roh Raggy!!! palette. I haven’t used the Creeps and Crawls palette, but I’ve created the most beautiful look with the Ruh Roh Raggy!!! palette, which I have yet to post. I don’t remember that one creasing that much either.

I love Cosmic Brushes eyeshadows, so of course I had to have the Muse palette, which was the brand’s third palette launch. This colour story is so pretty. I’m wearing the palette here.

The rest of the products in this haul are from Lunar Beauty. I’ve already gotten a lot of use out of the Nude Prism Blush palette. I love the variety of shades in this palette.

I’d heard such good things about the Lunar Beauty lip oils, so I purchased two shades; Love Me and Tease Me. They really are lovely. I’m wearing Tease Me here.

Lastly, I got two lip pencils and two lipsticks from Lunar Beauty, and they’re in matching colours. The deep pinky colour is called Stormy, and the bright orangy colour is called Tías. Both shades are so pretty!

Surge

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really wanted to create a look using the Blend Bunny Cosmetics Surge palette (which I haven’t hauled yet) and went with a purple look (no shock there) with a pop of neon green on the inner corners, and I really like how the look turned out.

Cosmetics Liquid Poreless Putty primer, foundation – Nars Light Reflecting foundation (shade: Oslo), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in Light, blusher – MAC Glow Play blush in Totally Synced, highlighter – Colourpop Super Shock highlighter in Candy Floss. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Blend Bunny Cosmetics Surge palette (shades: White Hot + Cheeks + Covet + Euphoric + Chemistry) + Essence Multichrome Flakes eyeshadow topper in 02 Cosmic Feelings, mascaras – MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara + Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes universal volumizing mascara, eyeliner – NYX Faux Whites eyeliner in Seashell. Last summery outfit

Here’s what I wore Wednesday September 27. This is my last summery outfit of the year, which is quite fitting, because the upcoming outfits are going to be my Christmas ones. I’ll save the outfits from October and November for after Christmas.

(Dress – H&M, shoes – Crocs)

Impressed by Essence

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I created this fun green and pink eye look with an Essence eyeshadow palette, and I’m pretty impressed by the pigmentation and quality of the shadows.

(Base: primer – Essence Hello, Good Stuff! glow serum primer, foundation – Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop blurring skin tint (shade: 2), concealers – Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener (shade: Golden Ivory) + NYX Bare With Me concealer serum (shade: 02 Light), powders – Essence Brighten Up! Banana powder in 10 Bababanana + Kiko Milano Radiant Fusion baked powder in 01. Face make-up: bronzer – MAC Skinfinish Sunstruck Matte bronzer (shade: Matte Light Rosy), blusher – Catrice AirBlush Glow in 050 Berry Haze, highlighter – bareMinerals Gen Nude highlighting blush in Rose Glow. Collective haul (June 2023)

I have a collective haul to share with you today. It consists of make-up, clothes, shoes, and one accessory. Let’s begin with the make-up for once.

Let’s just begin with the most exciting item in this haul, at least according to me; the Natasha Denona Yucca palette. This colour story is so stunning! I wore it here, and as I wrote in that post, this will probably become one my favourite Natasha Denona palettes.

I still really like Jeffree Star Cosmetics as a brand, and I especially like the eyeshadow palettes and lip products, so I picked up the Cotton Candy Queen palette and the Hydrating Glitz tinted lip balm in Snow Ball Me. I’m wearing the palette here.

I really like the about-face Cheek Freak Blush Balms, so I purchased two more shades. They’re called Laid and Get Some, and they’re both super pretty.

The last make-up product in this haul is the Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER color corrector in Pink Pomelo. I haven’t used it enough times to really know how I feel about it yet.

Let’s move on to clothes. I’m a 90’s child, so I felt very nostalgic when I saw this Spice Girls T-shirt at Asos. It’s from Asos Design, and I got it 20% off.

The next five items I got in a Monki sale. I love a good button up dress, and I loved the colours and print on this one.

This is just a white T-shirt with a pretty flower print, but I like it a lot, and I’ve worn it quite a few times.

I love Monki shoes and picked up three pairs in the sale. I’ve worn and posted outfits with all three pairs this past summer.

Last pair of shoes are these glittery classic platform Crocs, which I got 70% off (yes, you read that correctly) at Zalando. Both of my sisters bought them as well, so we have sister shoes:)

I don’t buy or wear a lot of scarves these days, but I loved the colours and the Mickey Mouse print of this one from Even&Odd, which I also picked up in a Zalando sale. And that’s the end of this haul.

Purple and orange

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Purple and orange is not a colour combo I wear that often, but I think it’s fun, so I’ll try to remember to play around with this combo again some day.

(Base: primer – e.l.f Cosmetics Power Grip primer, foundation – L’Oréal Paris True Match Nude plumping tinted serum (shade: 0,5-2 Very Light), concealers – Smashbox x Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector in Fair/Light + Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), powders – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Tone Up in Rose + Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur in Translucent. Face make-up: bronzer – Makeup By Mario SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in Light, blusher – Rimmel Kind & Free multi-stick in 004 Tangerine Dream, highlighter – Made By Mitchell Blursh Lights liquid highlighter in Champagne Spray. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Essence eyeshadow in 05 Granny Pants + Colourpop Fade Into Hue palette (shades: Lovecraft + Majestic + Art Deco + Nouveau + Fantasyland), mascaras – MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara + Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes universal volumizing mascara, eyeliner – Oden’s Eye Solmåne gel liner in 008 Lavender. Eyebrows: e.l.f. Cosmetics Brow Lift + Maybelline Brow Ultra Slim pencil in Medium Brown. Lips: Max Factor Colour Elixir universal lip liner + Unearthly Cosmetics liquid lipstick in Gnarly)

Checkered suit

Here’s what I wore Saturday September 23. I went to a family birthday party and thought it was a great occasion to finally wear this matching checkered suit.

(Blazer + trousers – Monki, T-shirt – Vintage Supply, bag + Mary Janes – Asos Design)
