Added grey

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 14. Red and navy will probably always be one of my favourite colour combos, and I usually pair it with white, but for this outfit I added some grey instead, and I really like how the grey brought something slightly different to the red and navy look.

A little too light

DSC_0779DSC_0784

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I know my foundation is a little too light (I’m wearing a foundation that oxidizes a lot so I mixed in some white foundation but added a bit too much), but I like the rest of my make-up.

(Base: primers – Maybelline Face Studio Prime Pore Minimizing Primer + MAC Strobe Cream (shade: Pinklite), foundations – Maybelline Superstay 24H Full Coverage foundation (shade: 05 Light Beige) + L.A. Girl PRO.Color Foundation Mixing Pigment (shade: White), concealer – e.l.f. 16HR Camo concealer (shade: Fair Rose), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + RCMA No-Color powder. Face make-up: bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Princess Cut. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Huda Beauty Nude Light Obsessions palette (shades: 3. shade 1. row + 2. shade 2. row) + MAC Rose-gilded eyeshadow palette (shades: Flaming Femme + Flashbeams) + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – Faux Whites eyeliner in Seashell. Eyebrows: e.l.f. Brow Pencil (shade: Neutral Brown) + e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: NYX Suede Matte lip liner in Cannes + MAC Princess Incognito lipstick)

NYX haul (mainly eyeliners)

DSC_0996

I don’t why, but I’ve been purchasing a lot of eyeliners lately (there are more to come), and in all different kinds of colours. I guess, I just love a coloured eyeliner in the waterline, and I want one to match every single eye look that I can imagine. I love NYX lip liners (a bought another one of those too; the Suede Matte lip liner in the shade Clinger), so I thought I would try out some of the different eyeliner formulas as well. I got two of the Faux Whites eyeliners, which I’ve been wanting to try for so long. I got the shades Seashell (pale pink) and Lavender Blush (pale lavender). I also purchased three of the slim eyeliners; I got the shades Light Brown, Lavender Glitter, and Sapphire. The shade names kind of speaks for themselves. And the last set of eyeliner that I bought, are the Vivid Brights eyeliners. I think they might be new, and they were made in relation to Pride. I chose the shades Love (sky blue shimmer), Snatched (red shimmer), She Bang (orange shimmer), and Hot Dang (chartreuse shimmer). The only non-liner product that I purchased this time around is another Sweet Cheeks matte creamy powder blush. I really like the yellow one I bought recently, and even though it might not look like it in the picture, this shade called Summer Breeze is a very pretty terracotta orangy colour.

Creamy mattes and molten foils

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wore the MAC Rose-gilded eyeshadow palette for the first time that day, and it was love at first sight; the creamy mattes blend beautifully and the molten foils are absolutely gorgeous! I wish MAC would create more eyeshadow palettes with these two formulas.

Post horseback riding vibes

Here’s what I wore Tuesday May 12. I’d never worn my black blazer all bottoned up before, but I really like the effect. I look like I went horseback riding and changed into a skirt afterwards, but kept the blazer on, and I kind of like it.

Matching brights

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I went for neon green/chartreuse on the eyes and hot pink on the lips to match the bright colours on the sweatshirt.

Rainbows and neon

DSC_0739DSC_0738

Here’s what I wore Monday May 11. I really wanted to wear my new Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and thought the neon ombré sweatshirt would be a great match. Sadly, something happened to the sweatshirt in the wash, and now it’s not neon anymore, so I’m getting rid of it.

Neutrals to match

DSC_0677DSC_0675

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Of course I had to do a neutral make-up look to go with the neutral colour scheme of my outfit, and I think this is a really pretty look. I’m sure the brown lipstick called Tendercotta from the limited edition MAC collection, Mosaic Masterpiece, will quickly become a favourite.

(Base: primers – Maybelline Face Studio Prime Pore Minimizing Primer + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. Denim with neutrals

DSC_0684DSC_0683

Here’s what I wore Thursday May 7. I really wanted to wear jeans and thought it would be fun to style these dark blue ones with the eyelets down the sides again. I styled them with different brown and beige items, and I think the outfit turned out quite fun even with the more neutral colour scheme.
