Casually

Here’s what I wore Tuesday August 20. I really wanted to wear my new light grey Nike Cortezs, and I decided to style them very casually with cropped jeans and a graphic T-shirt.

MAC sale lip products + one eyeliner

DSC_8391

I recently found all of these MAC lip products + one eyeliner on sale. They were so cheap that I had to buy them:) The single eyeliner that I purchased is a Technakohl liner in the shade Sterling Silver.

I purchased 7 lip liners from three different lines/collections. I picked up three of the Liptensity lip pencils which I haven’t tried before, but I loved the purply colours (from top to bottom); Galaxy Grey, Hellebore, and La Sultana. The two shorter pencils are the Pro Longwear lip pencils, which I haven’t tried before either. The shades are Ms. Diva and Shock Value. The last two liners I’ve bought are from MAC’s regular lip pencil line, and they’re called Currant and Naked Liner.

I don’t wear blue lipstick very often anymore, but I used to have these two blue lipsticks on my wishlist. The bright matte blue is called Dreampot and the darker blue is called Designer Blue and has a frost finish. The purple lipstick also used to be on my wishlist, and it’s another frost lipstick in the shade Pick Me, Pick Me!. I thought these colours were a lot fun, and I’m excited about creating some fun make-up looks with them.

‘One-colour’ eye make-up

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Lately, I’ve been a huge fan of ‘one-colour’ eye make-up looks, partly because it’s quick and easy, but also because it’s an easy way of using colour. I had a hard time blending this green eyeshadow, but then I just decided that this slightly less blended look was kind of fun too.

Going out for sushi

Here’s what I wore Saturday night August 17. I went out for sushi with a friend, and I really wanted to wear the shoes my sister gave me for my birthday and the black fluffy handbag, so this is the outfit I came up with.

Stunning purple/blue duochrome

A bit of glitter and a pinky nude lip

Here’s the make-up I wore Wednesday August 14. I don’t always wear bright make-up. Some days a bit of glitter and a pinky nude lip do the trick.

Big Monki haul

I’m not sure that I’ve ever done a Monki haul (I mean a haul only consisting of Monki pieces), but Monki has had a sale/outlet going on lately, so I’ve purchased a lot of great items.

Rød quilted jakke m. blomstermønster og fløjlskrave - Monki

Earlier this year, I bought this quilted jacket in navy, and I’ve worn that one so much, so when I found the red version in the outlet section on Monki’s website, I had to have it. The only difference between the two jackets (besides the colour) is that the red version has a heart on the zipper. The navy version has a circle.

Gul, blå, rød og hvid stribet sweater - Monki

I love knitwear and I love stripes and bright colours, so this jumper found it’s way in to my shopping basket. I’m so ready for sweater weather.

Grøn, blå og lyserød hawaii skjorte - Monki

In contrast to the knitted jumper, I also bought this oversized hawaii shirt, which is definitely more summery, but I absolutely loved the pattern and colours of this.

Regnbuestribet T-shirt - Monki

More stripes and more bright colours. I think this will be a great layering piece.

Olivengrøn T-shirt - Monki

Even though I love patterns, it’s nice to have some solid coloured tops as well, and I just love this olive green shade.

Lyserød og blå ternet kjole m. knapper - Monki

I actually don’t buy dresses that often, but I thought this button down dress was really cute. I really like pink and blue together.

Navy midi fløjlsnederdel m. knapper - Monki

It’s no secret that I love corduroy, and I thought this navy corduroy midi skirt would be a great autumn/winter piece.

Rustbrune denim overalls - Monki

About a year ago, I bought my first pair of overalls as an adult, and my love for them has only grown bigger since then. These rusty orange ones are of the same style as my beloved blue denim ones, and I thought this colour would be perfect for autumn.

Rustfarvet fløjlsblazer m. hvidt hjertemønster - MonkiRustfarvede vide fløjlsbukser m. hvidt hjertemønster - Monki

And speaking of rusty orange and autumn vibes, this is the most incredible two piece corduroy set I’ve ever seen! When I first saw this set on the website, my jaw dropped. It was not on sale, but I had to have it. It doesn’t get more ’70s fabulous than this.
