Another pop

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I decided to experiment with black and an orange/red/brown shadow, and I really like how it turned out. And of course I had to match my lips to the skirt I was wearing.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Bare) + Sleek Vintage Romance eye shadow palette (shades: Propose in Prague + Love in London) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 245 Audacious)

Pop of colour

Here’s what I wore Monday December 8. I don’t have much to say about this outfit other than I like it. For some reason I think the sweater and skirt look great together, and I like a pop of colour in an outfit.

First MAC eye shadow

I got my first MAC eye shadow for Christmas (from my youngest sister), and I absolutely love it. Technically, it’s not my first MAC eye shadow, because I already have the MAC Keepsakes Plum Eyes eye shadow palette, but this is my first MAC shadow in the round pan from the permanent collection. It is in the colour Cranberry, and on the MAC webpage it’s described as a red-plum with pink shimmer, but in real life it’s more of a shimmery bordeaux colour (and not plum). It’s a gorgeous colour and I’ll be posting a look wearing it some other time. I bought the palette in one of my local MAC stores a few days ago, and I can’t wait to add more gorgeous shadows to it.

Matching purple

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had to do a shimmery purple eye look to go with the T-shirt, and this is what I came up with.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Chino) + Sleek Vintage Romance eye shadow palette (shade: Bliss in Barcelona) + MAC Keepsakes Plum Eyes eye shadow palette (shade: Shadowy Lady) + Stila In the Light eye shadow palette (shade: Kitten) + Stila All Over Shimmer Duo highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Revlon Colourburst Balm Stain in 001 Honey)

Black phase

Here’s what I wore Wednesday December 3. Very black. I didn’t even notice at the time that I went through a (very) short ‘black outfit’ phase.

Throw on the velvet

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. You’re probably tired of seeing that Revlon Lipbutter in Red Velvet, but I just love it. It’s such an easy product to just throw on and you don’t need to pay too much attention to the fact that you’re wearing a red lip.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Undressed eye shadow palette (shades: 5 + 6 + 9) + MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Unwrap), mascara – Maybelline The Rocket Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter in 040 Red Velvet)
