Burgundy/plum

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Since the only colour in my outfit was the burgundy of the dress, I obviously had to do a matching burgundy/plum make-up look.

Essence Coffee to Glow collection

I purchase a lot of Essence limited edition collections, and back in autumn 2021 I purchased almost the whole (if not the whole) Coffee to Glow collection. The collection consists of both skin care and make-up. The skin care includes the Under-Eye Energy Treatment (01 Expresso Yourself!), the Coffee lip scrub (01 Where Have You Bean All My Life?), and the Healthy Glow face scrub (01 Never Stop Grinding!). The Body & Mind Wake Up mist (01 Give It Your Best Shot!) would probably be considered skin care as well. Make-up wise the collection included highlighter beans (01 Meant To Bean Together!) and and eyeshadow palette (01 Up For Coffee?). Lastly, the collection also included a scented highlighter brush (01 Hello Brew-Tiful!). Pretty much everything smells like coffee.

Here’s a closer look at the face scrub and the lip scrub. I haven’t used the face scrub yet, but I’ve used the lip scrub quite a bit. It’s not my absolute favourite lip scrub, but the stick form is very convenient.

The highlighter beans I’ve actually already gotten rid off, because they were too dark on me and a lot of them broke as well. But they were super cute.

Here’s what the eyeshadow palette looks like. It’s a very simple neutral palette heavily influenced by Huda Beauty. The quality is quite nice though (I wore it here).

And this is the scented highlighter brush. A bit gimmicky, but I do usually like Essence brushes, so I don’t mind.

Love for purple eyeshadow

Not my favourite look

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is not my favourite make-up look. I think it’s the dark purple and orange together on the eyes that I don’t love. But that’s the great thing about make-up; it’s not permanent.

Matte black and white

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I really like how this black and white matte eye look turned out. I’m not sure if I’ve ever worn an eye look just like this one before, but it was perfect for my Cruella De Vil inspired outfit.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Pricked collection

Back in autumn 2021 Jeffree Star Cosmetics launched the Pricked collection, and of course I had to pick up some things.

The main item in this collection is of course the Pricked eyeshadow palette. This palette is on the more neutral side, but has some pretty peaches and oranges. The bag design of the packaging might be a bit difficult to store, but it sure is fun.

These are the other products I picked up from the collection. I decided to get one Supreme Gloss in the shade Nude Garden, three Velour liquid lipsticks in the shades Bite My Lip, Tangerine Queen, and Play Your Luck, and one of the Supreme Frost highlighters in the shade Citrus Bling.

Here’s a closer look at the rest of the products. So pretty!

More elaborate

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I had a little extra time on my hands that morning, so I decided to do a bit more elaborate eye look, and I love how it turned out.
