New MAC LE collections; Bronzing & Mosaic Masterpiece

DSC_0600

MAC recently launched two new limited edition collections, and I purchased a few items from each collection (obviously). The collections are the Bronzing collection (bronze packaging) and the Mosaic Masterpiece collection (blue packaging).

The first product I got from the Bronzing collection is the Stobe Face Glaze in the shade Let’s Make Waves. I don’t know if MAC has come out with this product before this collection, but I hadn’t seen it before. I actually wore it for the first time today, and it is such a unique product. It looks wet on the skin, but at the same time it’s super glowy, and it’s absolutely stunning! I’m really excited about this product, and I think it should become a part of MAC’s permanent collection.

I also got one of the bronzers from the collection. It’s called a Radiant Matte bronzing powder, and I got the lightest shade in Beige-ing Beauty. It’s a very pigmented powder, so a little goes a long way. The shade is really pretty, and I think it looks very nice on the skin.

And of course I had to get one of the lipsticks. I chose the shade Cote D’Amour which is a bright fuchsia shade in the amplified finish.

From the Mosaic Masterpiece collection I had to get the Extra Dimension skinfinish. I mean, look at the packaging and the pattern in the actual powder. Gorgeous! The shade is Whisper of Gilt which is a cult favourite that I didn’t already own.

And of course I had to get a lipstick from this collection as well. This is in the shade Tendercotta and it has a matte finish. I have already worn this, and I love it. It’s pretty much the perfect shade of brown for a lipstick in my opinion.

Love brown

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. My sister gave me the lipstick, because she wasn’t wearing it, and I really like it, but I do love all brown lipsticks.

Monochromatic teal

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. The teal boots obviously inspired this make-up look, and as I’ve mentioned several times before, I love a monochromatic make-up look, so I had a lot of fun doing my make-up that day.

A favourite from six years ago

DSC_0472DSC_0474

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Six years ago I loved the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stains. I got rid of all of them, but I found a back-up of one of my favourite shades back then in my back-up basket and thought I would try it again. I definitely still prefer a more opaque (matte) lipstick, however this is a really pretty shade and it’s super comfortable to wear.

(Base: primers – Maybelline Face Studio Prime Pore Minimizing Primer + MAC Strobe Cream (shade: Pinklite), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent) + Revolution Vivid Baked highlighter in Matte Lights. Face make-up: bronzer – Benefit Hoola bronzer, blusher – MAC Mineralize blush in Modest Blush, highlighter – Essence Berry On highligher in 01 Berry On My Mind!. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Wet n Wild Color Icon Rosé in the Air palette (shades: 2 + 4 + 8) + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Eyebrows: e.l.f. Brow Pencil (shade: Neutral Brown) + e.l.f. Clear Brow & Lash Mascara. Lips: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in 020 Lovesick)

Back-ups + tools haul

Cocopanda haul April 2020

I don’t always buy fun, new make-up products that I haven’t tried before; sometimes I buy back-ups of my go-to products, and I buy make-up tools as well. I recently purchased the following back-ups; one of my new favourite foundations is the Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation, and I’ve almost used up my first one. The Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 001 Transparent is not actually a back-up, but I used to love this powder years ago, so I thought I would try it out again. I love EOS lip balms so I purchased a Whipped Vanilla Frosting scented one (I haven’t tried this particular scent before). The Real Techniques brush cleansing gel is another stable. And the L’Oréal Paradise Extactic mascara is my go-to mascara, and this one is in limited edition packaging, which I thought was cute. The L’Oréal Infaillable More Than Concealer concealer in the shade 322 Ivory is my favourite concealer, so I needed a back-up of that. And lastly, I bought a back-up of my favourite nail polish top coat from Rimmel. It’s the Nail Nurse Base & Top Coat.

Essence børsteholder + børste

In addition to the back-ups, I also came across the It’s Brush Hour brush holder from Essence and thought I would give it a try. I also purchased an eyeshadow brush from Essence.

Something more neutral

DSC_0450DSC_0458

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. This is definitely the most toned down/neutral look I wore that week, and even though I love bright colours, I also enjoy wearing something more neutral.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Bronzer – Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r – Instant Warmth bronzer (shade: Inda Sun), blusher – Essence The Blush in 10 Befitting, highlighter – Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed highlighter (shade: Vanilla Quartz). Yellow blush

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I wanted to play with my new yellow blush, and I have to say that I quite like the way it looks. Yellow blush is not as scary as you might think.

(Base: primers – Wet n Wild Photofocus face primer matte + MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (shade: Radiant Yellow), foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. In need of colour

DSC_0425rediDSC_0413redi

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Since most of the outfit was black and white, I felt like I needed some colourful make-up, so I went with blue and pink to match the pops of colour on my T-shirt.

(Base: primer –  e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer, foundation – Maybelline Dream Urban Cover foundation (shade: 100 Warm Ivory), concealers – MAC Pro Longwear concealer (shade: NC20) + L’Oréal Infaillible More Than Concealer (shade: 322 Ivory), powders – e.l.f. HD Undereye setting powder in Sheer + Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder (shade: 90 Translucent). Face make-up: bronzer – Physicians Formula Butter bronzer (shade: Light), blusher – MAC You’ve Got Me Feeling powder blush, highlighter – Ofra Cosmetics x Nikkietutorials Glazed Donut highlighter. Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eyeshadows – Jeffree Star Beauty Killer eye shadow palette (shade: China White + Courtney + Expensive) + MAC Nylon eyeshadow, mascara – L’Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara, eyeliner – MUA Intense Glitter eyeliner in Turquoise. Mixed make-up haul

DSC_0386

I recently purchased a few different products in a sale (Danish department store), and I thought I would share them with you in this little haul. I purchased three products from MAC; the new Fix+ Magic Radiance, the Studio Chromagraphic pencil in NC15/NW20, and an eyeshadow in the shade L.E.S. Artiste. I’ve only used the new Fix+ once or twice so far, but I’m excited to use it more and see if it lives up to its claims of ultra-hydration and a boost of radiance. I purchased the Studio Chromagraphic pencil in the search for an alternative to my favourite nude eyeliner from Sephora which has sadly been discontinued. I haven’t tried out this pencil yet though. And adding the eyeshadow to my custom 15 pan eyeshadow palette from MAC completed my palette, which is very satisfying. Besides the three MAC products, I also bought the NYX Sweet Cheeks matte creamy powder blush in the shade Silence is Golden, which, as you can see, is a yellow blush. I thought it would be fun to experiment with yellow blush. And lastly, I decided to try one of the Sephora #lipstories lipsticks; this one is from the Barbie collaboration and it’s in the shade 26 Kick It!
