Monolith haul (December 2024)

I have a rather large Monolith haul to share with you today. It consists of mainly eyeshadow palettes, but I did also get a few cheek and lip products.

Let’s begin with a holiday palette that a lot of people loved, and so did I. It’s the Dede Signature Fearless Holiday palette, and it’s supposed to be a mix of autumn and winter/Christmas shades, which I think it is. I wore it here.

Dede Signature also rereleased there former Christmas and autumn palettes the Jingle Bell Ruby palette and The Classic Autumn palette, so I picked those up as well. I wore the Jingle Bell Ruby palette on Christmas Eve.

The last Christmas/winter themed palette I got was the Gourmande Girls Frozen Kiss palette. This is a colour story right up my alley. I actually wore this palette on New Year’s Eve.

Keeping with a wintery colour story, this is the Bellabeautébar Realm of Fairies palette made in collaboration with sassyfairie. I created this eye look with it.

I was comtemplating picking up the Glaminatrix Cosmetics Barely Basic palette for quite a while, so when it was back in stock, I decided to finally pick it up. It’s such a pretty neutral palette with a twist.

I bought two palettes from Unearthly Cosmetics. I never owned the original Not Normal palette, but I had to get the remastered version, because that colour story is stunning. I’m wearing it here. I also think the Just A Taste palette is super pretty, and I created this grungy holiday look with it.

The last eyeshadow palette in this haul it the stunning Wicked Widow Beauty Tales of Terror: A Haunting palette, which is pretty much a perfect autumn/Halloween palette. I created this yummy look with it.

These are the three cheek products I picked up; the Unearthly Cosmetics Just A Taste Gory Glow highlight, the Wicked Widow Beauty Tales of Terror: A Haunting highlighter in Jack-O-Lantern, and the Whats Up Beauty Cheeque Terre bronzer in 10 Light. I especially love the Whats Up Beauty Cheeque Terre bronzer.

Lastly, I also got three lip products; two of the Kaleidos Cloud Lab Lip Clays in Rosefire and Golden Rosin, and another shade of the Fantasy Cosmetica Lost Library lipsticks. It’s called Obscure, and it was on sale.

Collective haul – incl. Cyber Monday sale (December 2024)

I have a rather large collective haul to share with you today. I purchased these items back in December last year, and some of the items I purchased in Cyber Monday sales. This haul includes a bit of everything. I’ll group the items by where I got them from.

Let’s begin with what I picked up in the H&M Cyber Monday sale. I got this beautiful burgundy dress with rhinestones all over it. I wore it on Christmas Eve.

I also got a pair of straight leg blue jeans from H&M, because I thought they might come in handy at some point.

You know I’ve been loving a flower pin, so I got these three (the two black ones and the leopard print one) from H&M. I also got a white flower scrunchie.

The last thing a picked up in the H&M Cyber Monday sale is this pair of big, heart-shaped pearl earrings, and they’re really cute.

Let’s move on the the things I got from Zalando. I thought this Elf tie from the brand OppoSuits was too fun not to buy.

I also bought two pairs of shoes from Zalando. I got the ALDO x Wicked Glinda inspired sling-backs, and they’re so pretty. I also got another pair of Teva sandals, but this time with a platform and in one of my favourite colour combos, red and pink.

I also purchased my first ever products from Moira, which was a new brand to Zalando at the time. This is the I’m Falling For You palette. I’m wearing it on my eyes here.

For eyes I also wanted to try out the Starshow shadow pot in Eureka and the Diamond Daze liquid shadow in 01 Airglow.

And for cheeks, I got the Loveheat cream blush in I Adore Yo and the Dreamlight highlighter in Dreamlight.

Now let’s talk about some bits I got from Beauty Bay (not sale). I got the Trixie Cosmetics Gel lip liner and Buttercream lipstick in Fashionably Late, because I wanted to try this new line of lip liners and lipstick shades.

I don’t pick up that much from Jeffree Star Cosmetics anymore, but he hadn’t released new shades of the Velour liquid lipsticks in a while, so I bought the shades RedRum Remix (red w. shimmer), Star Knockout (dark purple), and Mountain View (metallic brown). I’d also been wanting to try the Liquid Frost highlighter and chose the shade Frostitute.

Lastly, I’ll show you some jewellery I got as Christmas presents and a pair of tights I also got for Christmas. I’ve had this Trollbeads Cookie Joy ring on my wishlist for so long, so I was very happy to receive it for Christmas last year.

I also got these five beads for my bracelet, bangle, and/or ring, and they’re all so pretty.

I have a lot of Pandora x Disney jewellery too and how cute are these Mickey Mouse earrings?!

From Pandora x Disney I also received this Lilo & Stitch charm. So cute!

And lastly, I got a pair of fuchsia pink tights from Sneaky Fox.

Collective Black Friday haul (November 2024)

I have a collective Black Friday haul to share with you today. The haul includes a mix of everything from beauty to clothes, shoes, and accessories.

From Jolie Beauty I picked up the Spellbound palette, the Moonchild highlighter palette, and the multichrome lipgloss in Ethereal. I got 15% off all products. I’m wearing all three products here, and I think the look turned out so fun.

Let’s move on to the other random make-up bits, I purchased during the Black Friday sales. I got a back-up of my favourite concealer, the Huda Beauty #FAUXFILTER Luminous Matte liquid concealer (shade: 1.3G Marshmellow), and a back-up of one of my favourite foundations/skin tints, the Rare Beauty Positive Light tinted moisturizer (shade: 14W). I also wanted to try out the Huda Beauty Easy Blur natural airbrush foundation, and I got the shade 110N Angel Food, which I think is sadly a little to light for me.

From Makeup By Mario I bought the Soft Sculpt shaping stick in Light, the Mario Soft Pop blush stick in Watermelon, and the Soft Pop plumping blush veil in Perfect Pink, because I’ve been wanting to try out more products from the brand.

The last make-up products I purchased were the Benefit Cosmetics Plushtint moisturizing matte lip tint in 20 Red Velvet, the Haus Labs PhD Hybrid lip glaze plumping lip gloss in Persimmon, and a back-up of the MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash, which I love to use on my lower lashes.

From Asos I picked up the e.l.f. Cosmetics Squeeze Me More lip balm duo in Mango and Watermelon and a big, red, tartan scrunchie from the brand DesignB London.

You know I love colourful tights, so I got a blue pair and a green pair from Sneaky Fox.

I don’t wear a lot of black, but I thought this beaded zebra print bag form Topshop was really cute.

I bought two pairs of shoes in the Asos sale; the floral, sheer sling-backs are from River Island and the black mules with the flowers are from Asos Design.

Lastly, I picked up two pretty dresses. The orange checkered one is from the brand Stella Nova, and the floral one is by Danish designer Stine Goya. I think I might wear the floral one for a wedding next month.

5 favourites – April

As I wrote in my 5 favourites post from last month, I’m so ready for warmer weather, and we’ve had a handful of nice, sunny days, but not nearly as many as I was hoping for. I had a very nice Easter break, but I must admit, it’s been tough going back to work after the break. Hopefully, it’ll get easier again soon. Anyways, I’m really excited about this month’s favourites so let’s talk about them.

Patchwork coat (Stella Nova): I fell in love with this coat the first time I saw it, but it was quite expensive, so I didn’t buy it. However, I kept an eye out for it, and in March I found it on sale heavily discounted, so I went for it. I love it, and I’ve worn it so much.

Colourpop Pretty Fresh tinted foundation balm (shade: Fair 1): I’d heard such good things about this stick foundation, and it really is great. I’ve had a lot of early mornings this past month, and this has been my go-to most worn foundation; it’s just so quick and easy to apply, and it looks so good.

NYX Buttermelt highlighters: I love the NYX Buttermelt bronzer and blushes, so I was so excited to try the highlighters from the Buttermelt line, and they did not disappoint. I got the three most colourful shades, and they’re all so pretty.

MAC Glow Play Tendertalk lip balm (shade: Vibe): It’s not often that I include a lip product in a 5 favourites post, because I’ve got so many lip products and wear different ones all the time, but I’ve worn this MAC Glow Play Tendertalk lip balm in the shade Vibe so many times this past month, so I had to give it a shout out. I love the formula in general, but this particular colour is so lovely on the lips.

Sol de Janeiro Danca Mistica perfume mist: I was so excited to try this limited edition summer scent from Sol de Janeiro, because it has notes of fig, sandalwood, and vanilla. I think it might be my new favourite Sol de Janeiro scent.

Matas haul (November 2024)

I have a Matas haul to share with you today. The haul includes items purchased during the Singles Days 25% off sale and the Black Friday sale in November last year. The last few products in the haul weren’t on sale.

I’ve seen Fenty Beauty release highlighter palettes like this one before, and I’ve always been intrigued to get one, so when they released the Killawatt: Arcane Quad freestyle highlighter palette, I knew I wanted to get it. I don’t have any attachment to Arcane, but I thought the palette was beautiful.

Lancôme isn’t really a brand on my radar, but I’d been wanting to try out their C.E. Skin transforming bronzer in 01 Fair, and their C.E. Skin transforming highlighter in 01 Light Glow, and they’re really pretty.

I don’t purchase a lot of luxury make-up in generel, but I do really like Dior. This is the Dior Forever Star Glow Filter in 0N, and it’s such a pretty base under foundation.

I previously bought a lipgloss from the NYX Beetlejuice collection, but the palette wasn’t available at the time. It was at the time of the Black Friday sale, so I picked it up 40% off. I wore it earlier this week, and it was quite nice for an affordable eyeshadow palette.

I love the Rimmel Kind & Free mascara in 002 Brown Black so I picked up a back-up. And I thought I would give the L’Oréal Panorama mascara in Black a try.

The last thing I got on sale was the Rimmel Multi Tasker setting spray. I haven’t tried it yet.

e.l.f. Cosmetics is never on sale at Matas, so I just got two of the Fine as Fleck glitter eyeshadows, because I wanted to try them out. I picked up the shades White Hot and Straight Fire.

Lastly, I got three items from Essence which is another brand that’s usually not on sale, because their products are so affordable already. I bought two Satin Chrome nail polishes in 02 Artificial Pinktelligence and 03 Meta Maroon, and then I picked up the Xmas Kisses blush & highlighter duo in 01 Under The Mistleglow!, which was from a limited edition Christmas collection.

Sephora Single’s Day sale haul (November 2024)

I have a Sephora haul to share with you today. I made these purchases during their Single’s Day sale back in November.

The biggest purchase I made was the Pat McGrath Labs Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction eyeshadow palette. This is a really pretty palette, and I remember getting a good price on it.

I’d been wanting to try the KVD Beauty Good Apple bronze + sculpt balm duo and the Good Apple blush balm duo ever since they launched, and I finally picked up the bronze + sculpt balm duo in Fair 100 and the blush balm duo in Elusive Orchard 30. I really like the formula of these products.

For cheeks, I also got the Dior Rouge Blush & Glow duo face palette in 287 Dioramour and the Make Up For Ever Artist Face Powders highlighter in H130 Wherever Pearl. The Dior duo looks beautiful, but I was a bit disappointed the in lack of pigmentation. The Make Up For Ever highlighter is very nice though.

I’d been dying to pick up a slightly darker shade of the R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener foundation, because the shade I picked up originally was too light. This time around I got the shade Fair 6 CN, and it’s a really good shade match for my skin. I featured it in the 5 favourites post from December last year. And I love the Natasha Denona Macro Tech eye pencil, so I needed the shade Willow in my collection, which is a beautiful dark green shade.

The last two products I bought (I also got a free gift with my purchase) were two fragrances. I picked up the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 76 perfume mist 90 ml and the KAYALI Lovefest Burning Cherry I 48 eau de parfum 10 ml. I really like both scents, especially the KAYALI Lovefest Burning Cherry.

And here’s the selection of minis I received as a free gift.

Monolith haul including Black Friday (November 2024)

I have a large Monolith haul to share with you today. I picked up everything in the Black Friday sale apart from the first three products.

Blend Bunny Cosmetics did a lot of collabs in 2024, and the Robert Welsh Divination palette was the only one I picked up. I think this colour story is beautiful, and I love that the palette has two rows or columns of shimmers.

I love Christmas themed make-up, and I’d been wanting the Give Me Glow Cosmetics Christmas Morning palette for so long, so I was very excited when it had been reformulated and was back in stock.

Give Glow Cosmetics also launched blush and highlighter duos, and I decided to get the Lilac Euphoria I Lavender Trip Dream Duo, and it’s so fun and pretty.

All the rest of the products in this haul was purchased in the Black Friday sale, and what a Black Friday sale it was. I got two eyeshadow palettes from Glaminatrix Cosmetics; the Rich Romantic palette and the Nocturnal palette. I really like the Glaminatrix Cosmetics eyeshadows and these colour stories are beautiful.

I also picked up two palettes from Gourmande Girls Cosmetics. The Calavera palette is just so fun and colourful, and even though I don’t love peach, and I really like colour story of the Peach Perfect palette.

The only thing(s) I got from Unearthly Cosmetics was the Heather Austin Resurgence collection box, which included the Resurgence palette, the Resurgence highlighter duo, and the lipgloss in Omen.

I’m still intrigued by Kaleidos and want to try out more things from the brand, so I got the Futurism V: Electro Turquoise palette and the two Space Age highlighters in Gifted and Prophecy. I love the colour story of the palette, and the highlighters are super intense and shifty.

I’ve been really into highlighters and especially colourful ones, so I picked up the Glamlite x Fresh Prince of Bel Air California Fresh highlighter palette, which has three fun, colourful shades.

The last four products I got are the Shroud Cosmetics Peaches & Dreams Sparkle Veil highlight in Dreamscape, two of the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism liquid blushes in Bloom Bella and Presioca Pink, and the Fantasy Cosmetics Lost Library lipstick in Unearthed. I actually think that all of the products in this haul are really nice.

Collective beauty haul (November 2024)

I have a collective beauty haul to share with you today. It contains a good mix of different products at different price points.

Let’s begin with indie make-up. I’m always excited to see the holiday releases from Oden’s Eye, because they’re been really good in the past. The 2024 holiday palettes from the brand were called Rosy Jingle and Silvery Bliss. The Rosy Jingle palette looks more like a spring palette to me, but I can definitely see Christmas and winter in the Silvery Bliss palette, which I think is my favourite of the two. I also received a free mirror with my palettes.

I also picked up the holiday launch from Lethal Cosmetics, which consisted of the Spellcraft palette and the Aura multichrome liners, which I bought as a bundle including all five shades; Sublime, Verve, Hypnotic, Transcend, and Synapse. The Spellcraft palette initially reminded me of the Lethal Cosmetics Midnight Serenade palette, and even though they do share som similarities, I thought they were different enough to have both in my eyeshadow palette collection.

Cosmic Brushes make some of my favourite eyeshadow formulas, and I really liked both the Blush Butters and the Velvet matte lipsticks from their Sinister collection, so I had to get the entire ‘Tis The Season collection. It includes the ‘Tis The Season palette, two Blush Butters in Merry and Nutmeg, and two Velvet matte lipsticks in Santa Baby and Ginger Snap. Looking at the picture of the palette makes me want to create another look with it right now.

When I purchased the ‘Tis The Season collection from the Cosmic Brushes website, I also got the Frosting highlighter trio, and the shades are so pretty.

Let’s move on to a bunch of products I got on sale like these two MAC Macximal Sleek satin lipsticks in Violet Vapor and Centre of Attention. I really like this new satin formula from MAC.

The MAC lip pencils are some of my favourite lip pencils, so I picked up some of the new shades (from bottom to top) Centre of Attention, Brick-O-La, and Grape Expectations.

Here’s a mixed bag of products I got in Zalando’s Single’s Day sale. I got the Wet n Wild Bare Focus Niacinamide skin tint in Fair, the 3ina The No-Rules Bling highlighter, the 3ina The Cherry Lip Glaze, the Maybelline Superstay Teddy Tint lipstick in 30 Coquettish, and another MAC lip pencil in Chili Rimmed.

And lastly, I picked up the TirTir Mask Fit Red Cushion foundation in 17C Porcelain and two of the Etude Fixing Tints in the shades 02 Vintage Red and 06 Soft Walnut. These products were on sale as well.

Small Boozt haul (October 2024)

I have a small Boozt haul to share with you today. It includes make-up and accessories.

I’ve been interested in trying more things from rom&nd, so I picked up the Dewy-ful Water Tint in 11 Lilac Cream, the Glasting Melting Balm in 04 Hippie Berry, and the See-Trough Veillighter in 02 Moonkissed Veil.

I’ve also been wanting to try out the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvets, so I finally picked one up, and it’s in the shade Parchment. I also got a back-up of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze, which is one of my favourite brow products.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again; I love a flower pin/brooch. These two beauties are from a brand called Becksöndergaard.

Lastly, I picked up some more Crocs Jibbitz. I got a 5 pc of different mini Crocs and a 5 pc of Squishmallows. Aren’t they cute?

Beauty Bay haul – mainly sale (October 2024)

I have a Beauty Bay haul to share with you today. It consists of products from By BEAUTY BAY, Glisten Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Made By Mitchell.

You can say that I collect the By BEAUTY BAY limited edition 20 colour palettes, so I had to pick up the 2024 holiday palette called Celestial Charms. I love purples and I really like jewel tones as well, so this is a very pretty colour story. This is the only product in this haul that wasn’t on sale.

I’d been wanting to try the Glisten Cosmetics Spectra Lash mascaras, which come in a bunch of fun colours. I picked up the ones in Green and Periwinkle. I also bought another Anastasia Beverly Hills lip liner, and it’s in the shade Caramel.

This might have been a bit of an excessive purchase, because who needs this many cream blushes in one palette? But I really like the Made By Mitchell Curve Cases, and it was 50% off, so I caved.

The rest of the products in this haul are different highlighters from Made By Mitchell. The Blursh Lights liquid highlighters are probably my favourite products from Made By Mitchell, so I picked up these two fun shades from the Graffiti collection; the green one is called Zombie and the purple one is called Offline. I also wanted to try out the Slip Dew cream highlighter and chose the shade Crystal Drip. I’m not sure how I feel about that formula yet though.

Lastly, I’d also been wanting to try the Made By Mitchell Blursh Press’d duo highlighter palette, even though I really dislike the packaging. I picked the Dripped In Ice duo, which has the two shades Drip Drip and Ice Ice BB, which also comes in the liquid version. The highlighter duo also came with a highlighter brush, which is nice.
