Not completely satisfied

DSC_8475DSC_8473

Here’s the make-up I wore Thursday January 28. I wanted to wear the NYX Prismatic eye shadow in Fireball. I think the eye make-up looked better in real life, but I’m not completely satisfied with it. I want to play around some more with this eye shadow a day where I have more time to do my make-up.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, shadows – Stila In the Light eye shadow palette (shade: Bliss + Sandstone + Kitten) + NYX Prismatic Shadows in Fireball + MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliners – Stila Smudge Stick waterproof eye liner in Damsel + Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Lips: Essence lipliner in 11 In the Nude + MAC Oxblood lipstick)

Beautybay haul

I placed an order on Beautybay.com about a month ago and received the parcel about two weeks later. Here’s what I purchased:

When I saw this Zoeva En Taupe eye shadow palette I knew that it was just the palette for me. I love taupes and cool-toned shadows, and this palette is so beautiful. The shadows have great pigmentation and they blend very well. I would love to own more Zoeva palettes.

I’ve been wanting to try the Makeup Geek blushers (and eye shadows) for a long time, so I decided to order two shades + a Z-palette to keep them in. The shades I’ve got are Spell Bound and Bliss, and I love them. They’re so pigmented, and I’ve been wearing them a ton since I received them.

The last item I ordered was this Morphe eye shadow brush. It’s number M511 and I really like it. I would love to try out more brushes and products from Morphe.

Bright and glowy

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. Just as the dress, this make-up look is quite summery, but I just felt like wearing something bright and glowy.

Summer dress for colder weather

Here’s what I wore Wednesday January 27. I hadn’t worn this dress in ages, and even though it might be more of a summer dress, I just made it a bit more appropriate for the colder weather. I really wish it was summer though, or at least spring.

Coral orange

Here’s the make-up I wore this outfit. As I wrote in the outfit post, I really like this make-up look. The lipstick is one of my favourite orange lipsticks, and I think it looks great with the eye make-up.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shades: Salted Caramel + Milk Chocolate + Marzipan) + L’Oréal Color Infallible eye shadow in 039 Magnetic Coral, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Comfy, casual

Here’s what I wore Tuesday January 26. Just another comfy, casual outfit. I really like how my make-up turned out that day, and I’ll post some pictures of it tomorrow.

H&M lipsticks

I purchased these lipsticks from H&M’s new(ish) make-up line in the beginning of January. They were on sale and I think the colours are gorgeous. I haven’t tried them on yet, but when I have, I’ll show you what they like look on the lips and let you know what I think about them. They are supposed to have a matte finish which is great, and I really like the black and gold packaging. Have you tried any of the H&M make-up?

My kind of red

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m wearing the MAC lipstick in collaboration with Dita Von Teese, and I’m in love! It’s definitely my kind of red.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Study, eye shadow – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shades: Fade + Chino) + MAC All That Glitters eye shadow + Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shade: White Chocolate), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Sephora Long lasting kohl pencil in 07 Infinite beige. Lips: Rimmel Universal Transparent Lipliner in 001 Universal + MAC Von Teese lipstick)

My go-to kind of look

Here’s what I wore Monday January 25. This is my go-to kind of look; jeans and a sweatshirt over a shirt. I think this particular sweatshirt is my favourite at the moment.
