When MAC came out with this years summer collection I just had to get my hands on one of the lipsticks. The collection is called Wash & Dry, and I bought one of the limited edition lipstick shades. It’s called Steam Heat and is a gorgeous yellow based red with a satin finish, and I absolutely love it! It has become my new favourite red lipstick, and it’s the perfect red for spring and summer.
Dino make-up
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. A simple look, but with a touch of colour on the lips and on the water line.
(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Bare + Fade) + Sleek Storm eye shadow palette (shade: Snow Storm) + MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Glitter eyeliner in Jade Jewel. Lips: Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colour in 200 I’ll Call You)
Dino Tuesday
Here’s what I wore Tuesday April 21. The Danish weather has been fluctuating a lot lately, but the day I wore this outfit was a lovely, sunny day. I loved wearing my boyfriend jeans again, and I think they look great paired with this cute dino sweatshirt.
(Jeans – Topshop, sweatshirt – H&M, shoes – Shoe Biz Copenhagen)
Soft brown and hot pink
Here’s the make-up I wore Thursday April 16. I didn’t have time to take outfit pictures that day, but I snapped a quick picture of my make-up. I think it’s a very pretty and wearable look.
(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Bare) + Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shades: Milk Chocolate + Semi-Sweet + White Chocolate + Champagne Truffle), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White. Lips: MAC No Faux Pas lipstick)
Cherry cheese cake
My youngest sister gave me this NYX Butter Gloss when she came home from a school trip to Berlin. It’s my first NYX product, and I’ve been wanting to try a Butter Gloss for a long time. It’s in the colour Cherry Cheese Cake, and it’s a very pretty peachy orange shade. I’m wearing it for the first time today, and so far I’m really happy with this product. It has a nice pigmentation, and I think it’s very comfortable on the lips. For a gloss it lasts a very decent amount of time as well. The only thing I don’t like about this gloss is the scent which is too sweet for my taste, but luckily it goes away almost instantly after you’ve applied it to your lips.
Hot pepper
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It’s really simple and nothing new, but I just wanted to show you the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipstick in Hot Pepper in action. I just love the colour and finish of this product.
Long day
Almost rose gold
This is what my nails looked like a few weeks back and the pictures really don’t do them justice. I’m wearing a beige/nude nail polish with a copper/silver glitter polish on top, and it almost made my nails look rose gold. The night I did my nails I thought it looked pretty, but this combo really grew on me and I love it.
Ombré orange
Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. I’m crazy about the lips! It’s a mix of Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet lip pencil in 410 Fab Orange and MAC Morange lipstick, and I think it looks absolutely gorgeous. I love orange lips in general and I need to wear them more often.
(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows – MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Bare) + Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection (shade: Salted Caramel) + Sleek Storm eye shadow palette (shade: Snow Storm) + MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade on browbone, mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliners – Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip liner in Black + MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White.
