Free make-up bag

Here’s the free make-up bag with content from Gosh I mentioned in this post. The bag in itself is actually quite nice, and so are some of the products that came with it. The eye shadow is my favourite. It’s the Mono Eye Shade in 02 Rusty and it’s a gorgeous shimmery rusty brown colour; perfect for a one shadow look. My second favourite is the eyeliner which is an eyeliner version of the lipliners; it’s called Velvet Touch eyeliner and is in the colour 001 Blue Moon which is a beautiful, creamy turquoise blue. The bag also contained a Silky Cream Blusher Stick in the colour 001 Tropical Breeze which is a bright shimmery orange. The last product is a Soft’n Shine lip balm in 35 Antique Gold. It’s a shimmery gold tinted lip balm which might sound strange, and I’m probably not going to wear it much, but hey, it was free:) I created a look with all four products that will be posted on the blog some other time.

Here’s what I wore Tuesday October 7. I remember that I wanted to wear the blazer/cardigan (whatever it is), because I hadn’t worn it in a really long time, but it’s a bit difficult to style, I think. I decided to play it safe though with a matching green tee and blue jeans.

(Jeans – Cheap Monday, blazer/cardigan + T-shirt – H&M, necklace – Gina Tricot, sneakers – Nike)

Gosh lipliners

A few weeks ago I bought these two lipliners from Gosh. There was a Gosh deal where you would get a free make-up bag with 4 products if you bought two other products from Gosh. I had actually been wanting some more lipliners, and when I saw that Gosh had a bright orange lipliner I got really excited, because I’ve been wanting an orange lipliner to go with my MAC Morange lipstick. And now that Gosh had a ‘free make-up bag with content’ deal I picked up a second lipliner; a gorgeous deep red shade, perfect for dark autumn lips. The lipliners are called Velvet Touch Lipliner, they’re waterproof, and the two I picked up are called 005 Flirty Orange and 003 Cardinal Red. They’re super soft and pigmented. I obviously got the free make-up bag, and I’ll make a post about it very soon.

New ways

Here’s what I wore Monday October 6. As I mentioned here, this is my favourite T-shirt, and I love finding new ways of styling it.

Party lashes

Here’s the make-up I wore with this outfit. It was my first time wearing false eyelashes (apart from a couple of individual ones with this look) and they are not perfectly applied, but practice makes perfect, right? It’s not something I’m going to wear very often though, but I thought they were suitable for this look.

(Eye make-up: base – MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly, eye shadows –MUA Ever After matte eye shadow palette (shade: Chino) + Sleek Vintage Romance eye shadow palette (shades: Pretty in Paris + Romance in Rome) + Stila All Over Shimmer highlighter (lightest shade on browbone), mascara – Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express, eyeliner – Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip liner in Black + MUA Intense Colour eyeliner in Snow White, false eyelashes – Allura. Lipstick: Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in 500 Diva Red)

Long lace

I wore this beautiful dress at a party at my dorm on Saturday October 4. We had a gala/red carpet kind of theme on my floor, so it was the perfect occation to wear a dress like that. I had such a great time that night, and I’m looking forward to wearing the dress again.

Classic and ladylike

Here’s what I wore Friday October 3. I felt like wearing something classic and ladylike, and this was what I came up with. I’m a big fan of the combination of black and pink, and I hadn’t worn the pink top before (which used to be my sister’s), and it seemed perfect for the outfit I had in mind that particular day.

(Blazer + skirt – H&M, pink top + white top – Sisters Point, tights – Primark, booties – Monki)

M.Cosmetics blending brush

A few weeks back I bought this M.Cosmetics (Matas own brush line) blending brush. All the M.Cosmetics brushes were on sale, and I already got two brushes from the line that I like, so I thought I would give this one a go. It blends out eye shadows very well, but the bristles are not very soft which I think is too bad, because other than that it’s a very decent brush.
