Brushes

DSC_2421

When I bought this powder I wanted to get a new powder brush as well, but it took me a while to buy one, but a couple of weeks ago I finally bought this pink one. I had wanted some new eye shadow brushes for a while as well and got a regular eye shadow brush and an angle brush. All three brushes are really good; good quality and really soft. They’re from a brand called M.Cosmetics which is a brand of the Danish chain chemist/drugstore called Matas. The powder brush costed 69,95 dkk (9,38 € – 7,84 £ – 12,67 $), and the two eye shadow brushes costed 44,96 dkk (6,03 € – 5,04 £ – 8,14 $) each on sale.

Obvious match

Here’s what I wore yesterday. I really like the colour combination of pink and grey, so these pieces were an obvious match:)

Lets talk about something else

Here’s what I’m wearing today. I don’t really wanna talk about my outfit other than I like it, I wanna talk about the lipgloss that I’m wearing today that you got a closer look at in my previous post. It’s actually pretty long lasting. Even though I’ve had it for quite a while I haven’t really used it, because I thought the colour was to dark when I bought it, but now I really like dark lip colours, and this colour is not an exception. Anyways, I haven’t put on a new coat of lipgloss since this morning and I’ve been eating and drinking water and tea during the day, and there is stil some colour left. Of course it doesn’t look as good as it did when I put it on, but I’m still pretty impressed.

Dark lips

Face of the day. Or rather lips of the day, considered my eye make-up being pretty much the same everyday:) I’ll post my outfit later on today.

Casual vs. dressed up

Here’s what I’m wearing today. It’s the first time I’m wearing the shirt, and I really like it. I haven’t worn the shoes (or booties) before either, so I don’t know if I’m able to bike in them, but I’ll find out in about half an hour when I’m biking to the university:)

Pink, pink, pink

I got these 3 pink tops from my sister who didn’t use them anymore. I’m a big fan of pink clothing items if, as I’ve mentioned before, it’s styled properly (so you don’t walk around looking like a Barbie). I’m sure I can come up with some great outfits with these tops.

3 x H&M

About a week ago I did a bit of shopping. I bought these 3 items at H&M. Since I’m the type of person who gets cold all the time, sweaters are essentials for me during the months of winter. This nice black and white sweater costed 179,95 dkk (24,13 € – 20,32 £ – 32,68 $). The dress has the perfect colour for winter and I really like how simple it is. It only costed 79,95 dkk (10,72 € – 9,03 £ – 14,52 $). The skirt is just so pretty and so me. I love the colour and the style of it. It costed 129 dkk (17,30 € – 14,56 £ – 23,43 $). I’m really looking forward to wearing all 3 items, and I’ve already got several ideas of how to style them.

Super Stay 24 H

You might remember this post where I wrote about Maybelline’s Super Stay 24 H line and wrote that I would get back to you when I’d tried the products… Well, I’ve been using the powder and concealer for a while now, and I really like both products. I never wear foundation; I think it’s to heavy and thick on the skin, so a bit of concealer to cover up the worst spots and a light layer of powder is preferable for me. I would definitely recommend Maybelline’s Super Stay 24 H powder and concealer it you, like me, aren’t a big fan of foundation and you want to keep your skin looking natural (to some extend):)

Too straight to stay curly

Here’s what I’m wearing today. I braided my hair last night before I went to bed and when I took out the elastic this morning it looked this, but a bike ride to the university made all the pretty curls go away. I even used hair spray! I guess my hair is naturally too straight to stay curly.
